Tucker Takes on Illegal Alien: ‘Why Do You Have the Right to Demand Anything?’

cnsnews.com ^ | 9/21/17 | Craig Bannister

“We are paying taxes, we are contributing to the community, and we just ask that we be represented. “

Carlson replied that America’s officials are supposed to represent U.S. citizens and asked, “Why do you have the right to demand anything?” “I don’t understand on what grounds you make these demands.”

Carlson said that, if he went to another country and made the type of demands Ceja is making, they’d tell him to “Buzz off”:
"If I show up in someone else’s country and I say, ‘You know what, I demand to have a voice in the political system here, I demand benefits, I demand respect’ they’d say, ‘Buzz off, pal. Leave! You have no position from which to demand those things.’

Media's wistful longing for President Hillary is both sad and persistent

The Washington Examiner ^ | September 21, 2017 | Becket Adams

You'd think Hillary Clinton's fans in the news and entertainment industries would've moved on from the 2016 election by now. But you'd be wrong.
Many reporters, singers, anchors, actors, editors, and funnymen are still in mourning over the former secretary of state's second botched attempt at capturing the White House. Some are in greater pain than others, but even those who are trying to hide their grief show obvious signs they're not quite ready to concede she lost to a former reality TV host.
Late-night comedian Stephen Colbert, for example, embodied this sort of gloomy wistfulness this week when he interviewed Clinton on his show.
"She was first a first lady, then a senator, then secretary of state, and I would have bet anything the next President of the United States," Colbert said....

Ready to push panic button on Trump? Ex-adviser Gorka says 'relax'

WND ^ | 09/20/2017 | Chelsea Schilling

'Take a deep breath and count to 10. The fat lady isn't singing, OK?'
Are you a Trump supporter who’s suddenly ready to push the panic button because you fear the president won’t fulfill his promise to make America great again?
Well just “relax,” advises former White House deputy assistant Sebastian Gorka. “Take a deep breath and count to 10.”
“The fat lady isn’t singing, OK?” Gorka continued .., apparently not referencing Trump critic Rosie O’Donnell or Hillary Clinton, though his listeners might be forgiven for making the assumption.
It was Gorka’s first speech since leaving his position at the White House in August, when he was axed by President Trump’s top national security chief, H.R. McMaster. As WND reported, Gorka had advocated for declaring the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization and warned of a globalist “deep state” working to undermine the Trump agenda.
But now Gorka is seeking to reassure concerned Trump supporters. After all, he explained, it will take some time to reverse some of the damage done by previous administrations. And it’ll also take time to put a leash on the “permanent state” of 2 million federal employees who are out to obstruct the president.
“I must make a plea to all those people who came up to me last night and have done so since I left three weeks ago: relax,” Gorka told a crowd at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C. “Take a deep breath and count to 10. The fat lady isn’t singing, OK? I know that’s not politically correct, but who cares? We are in this for the long game.
“It’s not about the first eight months, but about eight years, and then another eight years under President Pence,” Gorka said in his speech, which was titled, “Principles of an America-First Foreign Policy.”

Democrats caught inciting anti-police riots in St. Louis

WND ^ | 09/20/2017 at 8:45 PM | Leo Hohmann

The St. Louis Young Democrats are working hand-in-hand with Black Lives Matter to organize protests in the city, now entering their sixth night, and the mayor says she is “listening.”
The Young Democrats tweeted Wednesday at about 12:20 p.m. that the next “protest” in response to the not-guilty verdict in the Jason Stockley trial was planned for Wednesday evening, instructing rioters where to show up and at what time, hashtagging #Black Lives Matter on the tweet.
The next protest in response to the #STLVerdict is scheduled to begin at 5:00 pm at Shaw Park tonight, Wednesday 9/20. #blacklivesmatter pic.twitter.com/CQJPfbvUr2— STLYoungDems (@STLYoungDems) September 20, 2017
While the Young Democrats can claim they are calling for peaceful protests, that claim is dubious at best, given their connections with Black Lives Matter, a known radical group that espouses violence and has been seen on video kicking in storefront windows, spraying unknown chemicals and throwing rocks at police.
More than a dozen police officers have been reported injured, and tens of thousands of dollars in damage has been caused to local businesses that had nothing to do with the Stockley verdict.
Now it comes to light that the Young Democrats are organizing the riots, which they call protests. …
