Court Stunned As Key Florida Democratic Election Official Admits Truth On Voting

Conservative Daily Post ^ | Sept 1, 2017

During the 2016 presidential election, one of the most controversial claims made by then-candidate Donald Trump was that Democrats were allowing illegal aliens to vote, being a remark that got brutally criticized by the mainstream media, which accused him of spreading false claims. However, almost a year after he became president, this controversial comment proved to be true, after a key election official in Florida admitted that actually happened.

Her name is Brenda Snipes, an Elections Supervisor who revealed that both noncitizens and felons have voted illegally in Broward County. She made this comment in order to defend her office against a lawsuit brought by conservative legal group American Civil Rights Union.

Apparently, this group contends there are more voters registered on Broward's roll than there are eligible voters in the County, being a concerning situation that could represent an illegal activity from the Democrats in the state. According to the lawsuit, those rolls were inflated not only with noncitizens and felons, but also other ineligible people who voted illegally.
During the 2016 presidential election, one of the most controversial claims made by then-candidate Donald Trump was that Democrats were allowing illegal aliens to vote.
On July 31, Snipes acknowledged in court that the processes her office had been using are not exactly perfect, and that some felons and non-citizens have voted despite the fact they were not eligible, especially before major elections, when groups are actively registering the new voters.
In order to reduce the massive impact that this admission could generate, lawyer for Broward County, and Snipes, Burnadette Norris-Weeks said that her statement was simply blown out of proportion and that it was in response to a question, rather than a statement of definite voter fraud. However, legal analysts believe this could be the beginning of a major case, and that Snipes' lawyer is only trying to help her client in any way she can.
According to The Daily Signal, Norris-Weeks told there wasn't a suggestion there was some kind of voter fraud in Broward County. In fact, she doubled down by adding that suggested improvements don't represent any kind of admission of anything.
According to Roger Stone, Hillary Clinton had secret meetings with Snipes in Florida.
However, it is almost impossible to defend such a controversial case, considering that over the last few years, many Republicans have assured that the Democratic Party, with or without knowledge, has committed these kinds of crimes in some states of the country during elections.
As many people know, Brenda Snipes was an important ally of Hillary Clinton during the elections, and reportedly met with her on different occasions during this period. As most members of the Democratic Party, she is known for having a radical stance against President Trump.
During the presidential elections, Florida became a real battlefield for Democrats, since they were willing to do whatever it takes to win this important state. In fact, as early voters started casting votes, many conservatives websites buzzed about numerous pieces of evidence of crooked campaign tactics by Hillary Clinton in order to secure Florida and avoid a GOP victory.
Just like what happened with Trump's comments regarding this issue, Stone was brutally criticized by liberal media outlets, which claimed he was just running a conspiracy theory in order to harm Hillary´s reputation.
This shady scheme centered on left-leaning Broward County, which was already in the news back then for distributing some mail-in ballots without Amendment 2, being a proposal to legalize medical marijuana.
These claims came initially from Donald Trump's former campaign operative Roger Stone, who spoke about a secret meeting during interviews with conservative media outlets. Stone, who lives in Fort Lauderdale, said that Hillary Clinton showed up in Broward County and slipped into a private meeting with Snipes, who he described as the woman who controls the board of elections.
Just like what happened with Trump's comments regarding this issue, Stone was brutally criticized by liberal media outlets, which claimed he was just running a conspiracy theory in order to harm Hillary's reputation.
In fact, some of these media even used his ties with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones to discredit his claims about the illegal activities that Democrats were conducting in Florida, in order to make Hillary win the state. However, Trump achieved a significant victory in Florida that ended up being extremely important for winning the presidential election.
Snipes has been the County's top election official since being appointed back in 2003, and has won subsequent elections starting a year later. Her County's problems included voters registration lists with dead voters, duplicate registrations, felons, and even commercial addresses listed as residential addresses.
U.S. District Judge Beth Bloom of Southern District of Florida in Miami has not yet rendered a decision regarding this controversial case. According to Norris-Weeks, a ruling will likely come in early October.
