Anti-Trump protesters the real deplorables!

Boston Herald ^ | 13 Nov, 2016 | Howie Carr

Can I have the bullhorn please?
I would like to address all of you rioting hippies, fifth-generation welfare leeches and assorted illegal immigrants who are currently looting, burning and carjacking your way across the college campuses and free-stuff districts of America.
First of all, can we describe these civil disturbances for what they really are? These are not “anti-Trump” riots, they are “pro-Hillary” temper tantrums.
Tuesday was the revolt of the working classes. Now we have an ongoing insurrection of the non-working classes.

Have a Cupcake and Suck It Up

Michelle Obama's Mirror ^ | 11-13-2016 | MOTUS

Demonstrators with signs reading "Not my president!" clogged streets, set fires, and smashed windows across the country again yesterday, with Portlandia as the epicenter.

Now we find out that this organic grass-fed protest movement is as organic, grass-fed, and grass-rooted as Occupy Wall Street, Ferguson, Baltimore et al. How do we know?

First tell: they always have funding from some Commie organization -
and the “protests” always devolve into destruction. They’re always the same; can you tell the difference?
ows ferguson baltimoreLeft to right: OWS - Oakland, Ferguson, Baltimore
All of the current “protests” are funded by various groups affiliated with “Anonymous” - theoretically an Anarchist group that appeals to youth and other disaffected groups:
weedoccupy dreamers_thumb[8]Wake up cupcakes! Trump was elected president and there are flags to burn! Demands to be made!
This time they’re funded by a group calling themselves the “ANSWER Coalition” which emerged – organically - following Trump’s win with this announcement:
“In a shock result, Donald Trump has been elected president – but the people can rise up and defeat his bigoted, extreme right wing agenda!” ANSWER said in a post-election statement. “The ANSWER Coalition is mobilizing across the country to organize and take part in emergency actions.”
And the ANSWER group in turn is funded by the “Progress Unity Fund” which is run by a bunch of Marxist, Leninist, anti-semitic, anti-American haters.
hate_america_crush_israel-viWhoops! Wrong haters.
hate trumps love
This time protestors were admonished that if they are going to use signs to make them by hand so they don’t all look the same – like they were provided by somebody funding their protests. So this time they just told their useful idiots what to put on their handmade signs.
not my president2
Unfortunately they didn’t give specific instructions for what and where to print your message.
not my president
I think I understand the snowflakes dilemma however. I suspect that the cupcake generation doesn’t actually understand how our electoral system works as they now learn social justice in K-12 rather than American Civics. So I’ve prepared a simple explanation for them that I think they’ll be able to grasp: Elections are NOT like “OMG, I slept through my final exam.! I’m going to need a do-over!” They’re more like the end of a football game; for better or worse, love it or hate it, it goes into the record book of life. Suck it up, buttercup.
suck it up
I don’t care how upset you are.
I know honey, have a cupcake. It’ll make you feel better.
PS: Although both Detroit newspapers called Michigan for Trump 3 days ago, AP finally conceded after 100% of the votes had been counted. Wouldn’t want a rush to judgement.

NPR: Change the staff or shut the operation down

NPR News this morning | 13 November 2016 | Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin

Mr. Trump, please, do something about NPR (National Public Radio) upon taking office. That is one media outlet that can be changed or shut down. This morning I listened to their propaganda and they were talking about some girl who had allegedly been mistreated at school after the election. She and a boy had heated discussions prior to the election and he said something after the election that offended her.
They used that incident as a platform to insinuate that Trump supporters all over the nation were persecuting Clinton supporters...when in reality, the exact opposite is true. Please do something about changing out the entire staff at NPR or shutting it down. We didn't vote for you to be harassed day in and day out by the opposition. All of this needs to stop now. We are not going to tolerate it.

Were The Obama Election Results Fraud? How Many Illegal Aliens Voted? ^ | November 12, 2016

Hillary Clinton Lost the Election Because Millions of Democrats Did Not Vote and Jonathan Webber, a pundit, couldn’t figure out why this happened.
I was curious about the extra 10 million votes for Obama. Why did that totally vanish this year? According to the media and black rioters and their leftist white terrorists in the streets, Hillary won. But why didn’t all this phantom voters show up at the polls this year? This was supposed to be a contentious, hard election that rallied the troops…yet 10 million of the DNC voters didn’t show up at the polls at all this election! I smell voter fraud all over the place.
US Presidential Elections 1900-2016 [Graph at the link]
Note how Bill Clinton’s vote win was very similar to Bush vote wins: between 45 million and 60 million votes. On the losing side, their opponents got between 40-60 million votes. Suddenly, we have the Republicans getting the usual 50-60 million votes but the Democrats had 60 to 70 million votes. Trump won with slightly over 60 million votes and so did Hillary. So if we look at the losing side of the statistics, it grows gradually from 1900 to 2016 with one big boost when women got the right to vote. Then logically, it doubled.
All those missing 10 million voters, were they bored with this wild, hate-filled, howling election? I seriously doubt it! Did they vote for Obama and then decided to stay home and let Trump into the White House? I very seriously doubt it, look at the Democratic city riots.
The states like California that let illegal aliens vote all went for Hillary. The states that had poll watchers preventing this went for Trump. The real numbers of illegal aliens who voted in the past were roughly 12-14 million and this was cut down to around 4 million this time around which is why the voting numbers are once again in like with previous elections and the anomaly of Obama wins sticks out like a sore thumb.
Out of 325 million Americans, black voters are 45 million (these figures are all ages, not voting age). The average, normal election has a total of only 130-150 million voters who actually vote. The huge question here is, why did over 10 million Democratic voters vanish? The excuse that they were not interested in voting is insane. Look who rioted during the entire election cycle against Trump: illegal aliens.
Wherever voting was not supervised to see if people were real citizens, these were mainly Democratic home base cities. But outside the cities, UNIFORMLY, the vote was for the Republican party, all of it which is why they now control the House, Senate and White House. Rioters now are trying to loot and burn down their home bases in a spasmodic rage so obviously, they wanted to not have this happen but couldn’t stop it.
I would suggest strongly that previous elections had more illegal aliens and this is because the GOP didn’t make a fuss back then, only when Trump ran, did the people on the ground, NOT the GOP leaders, were pushing hard to insure only citizens voted: Supreme Court Allows Trump’s Volunteer Poll Watchers To Monitor Voting…
Poll watchers supporting Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in hopes of averting or reporting a “rigged” election received the Supreme Court’s permission Monday to staff polling places across the battleground state of Ohio.
“Make sure everything is on the up and up,” Trump has told his supporters in urging them to be alert to voter fraud. “So go to your place and vote. And go pick some other place and go sit there with your friends and make sure it’s on the up and up. Because you know what, that’s a big, big problem in this country and nobody wants to talk about it.”
And it worked: this flushed out all the illegal aliens who stayed home rather than go to the polls with fake ID.
ACORN: Obama Campaign Voter Registrations Removed Prior to Ohio Primary – Breitbart
HOUSTON, Texas — Election integrity and voters’ rights organization True the Vote announced that it successfully worked with officials in Ohio to remove duplicate voter registrations prior to the Ohio primary. These registrations were originally submitted by left-leaning and Democrat organizations, including ACORN.
Approximately 30 percent of voters registered twice in the Cleveland area and they did so with falsified birth dates, social security numbers, and other identification. These were submitted not only by ACORN, but by Field Works, The Strategy Network, Organizing for America, and other left-of-center organizations, says True the Vote (TTV) in a statement obtained by Breitbart Texas.
Upon receipt of True the Vote’s research, 711 duplicate voter registrations were removed in Cuyahoga County and 465 sets were processed in Franklin County. TTV says it has been notified that thousands of duplicate voter registrations have also been removed in North Carolina.
So we had ‘liberal’ organizations actively working to have voter fraud. Then there was this scandal: Pew Center: 1.8 Million Dead People on Voter Rolls, 2.75 Million Registered in Two States…
TTV notes that the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) had a “well-established track record” of giving local election officials questionable voter registration forms for years, especially in Midwestern and other political battleground states.
ACORN bragged about submitting more than 1.3 million voter registrations in 2008 alone. After the organization was formally shutdown, 18 employees were convicted or admitted guilt to committing election crimes. A large percentage of the work that ACORN engaged in has been officially questioned.
WATCH: Computer Programmer Testifies Under Oath He Coded Computers to Rig Elections isn’t big news for the mainstream media or the Democratic Party which thrives of fraud. But this is big news, all this is very big news. Why are we back to normal voting growth this election? It seems obvious to me. The hysteria on the part of illegal aliens in particular since Trump said he would stop them all, was quite noisy and they marched all over states that voted for Hillary and open borders and yelled at the top of their lungs…but still didn’t vote! Huh?
They were certain they could vote, some openly admitted they voted illegally for Obama in the past. Now, they are gone again.
141 counties in U.S. have more registered voters than eligible residents | Sun Times National reports. No shock here. Voter fraud begins at party headquarters.
U.S. Spends Another $10 Mil to Register New Immigrant Voters – Judicial Watch reports. The DNC needs new voters to counteract long term citizens.

"The fact that there are riots in the streets because Donald Trump was elected president... is proof Donald Trump needed to be elected!"

Indict Hillary Clinton!

American Thinker ^ | November 12, 2016 | Daniel John Sobieski

While Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” was marching to the polls, pitchforks and torches in hand, to deny her access to the presidency and a new revenue source for the Clinton Foundation, Scooter Libby got his law license back and was reinstated to the bar by the D.C. Court of Appeals.
Libby was vice president Dick Cheney’s chief of staff when he was charged with obstruction of an investigation into the “outing” of Valerie Plame as a CIA operative. Plame was in fact a desk jockey at CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, not a secret agent in harm’s way. As Investor’s Business Daily noted:

Remember the alleged outing of the already known CIA officer and desk jockey Valerie Plame? We were told then that the Vanity Fair cover girl's 15 minutes of fame jeopardized our national security even if everybody already knew who she was."Scooter" Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney's former chief of staff, went to jail because his memory of events and who said what to whom regarding Plame differed from the recollections of others, particularly news reporters.
Libby in fact did not out Plame, who was not a covert operative. Hillary Clinton, whose faulty memory caused her to say to the FBI she couldn’t recall some 39 times, did in fact endanger the lives of foreign operatives in her “carelessness,” as FBI director James Comey put it, regarding classified emails.

NY Times Admits Biased Coverage on Trump

Newsmax ^ | November 12, 2016 | Sandy Fitzgerald

In the letter to subscribers, signed by both Sulzberger and Executive Editor Dean Baquet, the pair said they promise to "rededicate ourselves to the fundamental mission of Times journalism. That is to report America and the world honestly, without fear or favor, striving always to understand and reflect all political perspectives and life experiences in the stories that we bring to you.
"Because it demonized Trump from start to finish, it failed to realize he was onto something," Goodwin writes. "And because the paper decided that Trump's supporters were a rabble of racist rednecks and homophobes, it didn't have a clue about what was happening in the lives of the Americans who elected the new president."

He Made America Feel Great Again

I SHOULD have seen it coming!

Throughout the 2016 election — remember those crazy times? — I tried to draw a distinction between Donald Trump’s strategy and the man himself. In the primaries I thought that Trump’s pitch to working-class voters, his breaks with Republican orthodoxy on economic and foreign policy, were often politically brilliant … but that Trump himself was too much of a loose cannon to actually win the party’s nomination.
When that assumption was proved wrong, I thought that Trump’s general-election strategy of going hard after Rust Belt votes had the potential to split the Obama coalition … but that his obvious sexism and white-identity appeals would alienate women and drive minority turnout too high for him to win.
Well, that was wrong, too. Which left me with my assumptions about a Trump administration: that in theory an ideologically-flexible president promising a national-interest-first foreign policy could be remarkably popular, but that in practice Trump would give us economic weakness, global instability, and domestic upheaval.
Yet here we are four years later, watching Trump bask in the glow of an easy re-election over the Warren-Booker Democratic ticket. And given how successfully he defied expectations all through 2016, the path he’s taken to this point probably shouldn’t have come as such a surprise.

The Democrats Screwed Up!

NYTimes ^ | NOV. 11, 2016 | Frank Bruni

We geniuses in the news media spent only the last month telling you how Donald Trump was losing this election. We spent the last year telling you how the Republican Party was unraveling.
And here we are, with the Democrats in tatters. You might want to think twice about our Oscar and Super Bowl predictions.
Despite all the discussion of demographic forces that doomed the G.O.P., it will soon control the presidency as well as both chambers of Congress and two of every three governor’s offices. And that’s not just a function of James Comey, Julian Assange and misogyny. Democrats who believe so are dangerously mistaken.
Other factors conspired in the party’s debacle. One in particular haunts me. From the presidential race on down, Democrats adopted a strategy of inclusiveness that excluded a hefty share of Americans and consigned many to a “basket of deplorables” who aren’t all deplorable. Some are hurt. Some are confused.
Liberals miss this by being illiberal. They shame not just the racists and sexists who deserve it but all who disagree. A 64-year-old Southern woman not onboard with marriage equality finds herself characterized as a hateful boob. Never mind that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton weren’t themselves onboard just five short years ago.
Political correctness has morphed into a moral purity that may feel exhilarating but isn’t remotely tactical. It’s a handmaiden to smugness and sanctimony, undermining its own goals.
I worry about my and my colleagues’ culpability along these lines. I plan to use greater care in how I talk to and about Americans more culturally conservative than I am. That’s not a surrender of principle or passion. It’s a grown-up acknowledgment that we’re a messy, imperfect species.

Obama Lobbies Against Obliteration by Trump

NYTimes ^ | NOV. 12, 2016 | Maureen Dowd

YOU know how desperate President Obama is — as he contemplates all his accomplishments going down the drain at the hands of a man he has total contempt for — when he is willing to do something so against his nature.
He tried to persuade Donald Trump.
We saw that unicorn glimpsed only fleetingly in the last eight years: the cajoling Barack Obama.
The president flattered the president-elect by letting Trump rack up the ego arithmetic.
“This was a meeting that was going to last for maybe 10 or 15 minutes and we were just going to get to know each other,” Trump told reporters afterward, as they sat in front of the Oval Office fireplace. But, he marveled, “The meeting lasted for almost an hour and a half.”
And lo and behold, it worked — sort of. In his first post-election newspaper interview, Trump told The Wall Street Journal that he would consider leaving in place the parts of Obamacare that allow children to stay on their parents’ health plan until they are 26 and that prevent people from being refused insurance because of existing conditions.
“I told him I will look at his suggestions, and out of respect, I will do that,” Trump said.
Of course, those are two very popular elements of the law that Republicans wouldn’t dream of killing anyway. Still, President Obama’s charm and civility clearly made a strong impression, though it’s impossible to say when a nasty tweet will come in the middle of the night.

No, protestors, you are not entitled to free education! ^ | 11NOV16 | Simon Black

Bleary-eyed from the 16+ hour flight from Asia, I checked my phone last night once the plane landed to find that riots have broken out across the Land of the Free.
It was enough to wake me from my jet lag.
All the televisions in the airport terminal were showing footage of the chaos along with occasional interviews with some of the protestors.
Naturally there was outcry against racism, sexism, violence, and all the usual anti-Trump arguments.
(Which I found ironic given this video of a Trump voter being viciously beaten in Chicago.)
But one of the recurring themes from these protestors being interviewed, primarily young people, was that Trump wasn’t going to do anything about student debt.
This was a major issue during the election, one that Bernie Sanders grabbed onto with promises of free education and debt reduction.
His message resonated with young people.
I’ve see this same theme all over the world, from Chile to the United Kingdom-- students want free education, underpinned by a fundamental belief that quality education is a basic human right to be provided by the government.
Even if you agree with this assertion, there’s a MAJOR problem with the logic: these students are conflating “education” with “university degree.”
Anytime young people tell me they’re entitled to free education, I always ask the same questions--
How many books did you read in the past six months?
How many times did you go to the local library?
How many free online courses from top universities like Harvard, MIT, and Georgetown did you take at
How often have you actually used the multitude of free resources at your disposal to educate yourself?
Most times I just get the deer in the headlights look.
The truth is that they’re not interested in free education.
They just want a free university degree… a piece of paper that confers neither education nor any guarantee of success in life.
Candidly, many of the important things we need to learn in life are not taught in school.
I’ve started more businesses than I can count, some of them spectacular failures, others highly successful. I didn’t learn any of those skills at school.
And everything I learned about farming, for example, was on the land, not in the classroom.
This is true with many other elements that help us achieve success in life-- business, investing, networking, romance, personal health, etc.
Understandably, certain professions do require formal schooling.
But that’s not really the point.
This is ultimately about people expecting the government to steal from others and give them something of questionable value for free when they haven’t yet taken steps to provide for themselves.
One could make the same argument that access to healthy food is a fundamental human right, and that the government should provide organic vegetables for free.
But how many seeds are people planting for themselves? A tomato plant can be grown from a single seed and about one square foot of space with almost no effort.
You’ll eat better (and sooner) taking matters into your own hands rather than waiting for the government to pass some terrible law in order to give you something for free.
It’s the same with education.
Yes, the cost of university in the Land of the Free is out of control. And it really doesn’t make sense for young people to start their lives buried in debt.
But rather than demand a bunch of laws be passed (which, even if this ever happens, will take years), you’ll be much better off taking matters into your own hands.
This starts with expanding your thinking.
Rather than limit yourself to traditional options (i.e. I’m from the US therefore I must attend a US university in order to be successful), consider whether university is the right option at all.
If you truly want to learn a highly valued skill that can pay the bills and provide income security (sales and marketing, business management, investing, design, web development, e-commerce, etc.) you may be better off eschewing university and instead learning directly from someone who has mastered what you want to know.
It’s an extreme example, but you would learn more about investing by working for Warren Buffett than in any university program.
This simple concept of apprenticeship has worked for thousands of years: if you want to be successful, learn from successful people.
Even if you still think that university is the right choice (which it very well may be), expand your thinking to the whole world.
There are plenty of high quality universities overseas that you can attend for almost nothing.
Top universities in Germany and Switzerland, for example, offer degree programs entirely in English, and you can attend for less than the cost of a bus pass.
To boot, going abroad gives you a lot of great international experience and the chance to achieve fluency in a foreign language.
So the end result is that you still get that piece of paper (your university degree), along with tons of other benefits and experiences, with almost none of the costs.
