Bill Clinton Refuses to Take Backseat in Campaign (addicted to power, money and fame)

There's been a slew of stories about Bill Clinton taking a back seat in Hillary's campaign.... the ex-president told Town & Country's April 7 edition that his role "should primarily be as a backstage adviser to her until we get much, much closer to the election."
And yet, Bill is everywhere. With Hillary's refusal to give a media interview, to have an open campaign event with voters, Bill is the backseat driver of his wife's presidential campaign. Last week, Clinton gave the campaign's first interview of the presidential race to NBC.......(under fire for becoming rich through the Clinton Foundation's shady activities) he defended his costly speechmaking by claiming he's "gotta pay the bills." CNN's Christiane Amanpour got another interview. ...and so did Fusion's Alicia Menendez (the daughter of indicted New Jersey senator Bob Menendez). “If I were advising candidates, you have to have a credible position on immigration reform, the only thing that makes sense is a path to citizenship,” he reportedly told Menendez.
Tonight he will make his 10th visit to the 'Late Show' to say goodbye to David Letterman. He made his first appearance in 2002....then he goes to Atlanta to speak at the American Institute of Architects meeting for a hefty speaking fee ......to pay some family bills.
