Science confirms, men ogle women and women ogle women!

Foxnews.com ^ | October 29, 2013

Science has confirmed what women have known for years - men really do look at women's bodies more than their faces.

But a study published in the journal Sex Roles shows that women are just as guilty of staring at other women's bodies more than their faces.

The US study took 29 women and 36 men who were fitted an eye-tracking system which measures how many milliseconds the eyes remain on a certain spot.

Photographs of 10 women were shown, each with three digitally altered body shapes - curvaceous, much less curvaceous and in-between.

Sexual degenerates are crawling out of the sewer demanding acceptance/approval for adult-child sex!

Coach is Right ^ | 10/29/13 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

Thursday’s arrest of a 77 year old, wealthy White former New York City DJ for trying to arrange his raping of a 7 year old girl should be shocking and rare but it is neither. Not surprisingly he is pictured wearing an Obama 2012 hat.

With the sewer covers kicked off by Barack Obama’s continuing overtures toward the sexual fringe of our society, the predictable demands for our “acceptance and approval” of their perversions have increased.

There was a time not too long ago when the word NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association) was virtually unknown except for discussions held in bath houses between fish eyed perverts. NAMBLA’s goal has always been...

The Vindication of Ted Cruz

Flopping Aces ^ | 10-29-13 | Vince

Pundits and journalists across the country have suggested that Ted Cruz and friends accomplished nothing with the government shutdown. I’d beg to differ. Indeed, I’d suggest just the opposite. The best parallel I can draw is with Ronald Reagan in 1976 when he angered the GOP establishment by challenging Gerald Ford for the party’s nomination before he went down to defeat at the hands of a peanut farmer from Georgia. Reagan however had made his mark. He was for smaller government and everyone knew it. As a consequence, four years later he won a resounding victory on the strength of the army of supporters he inspired in 1976.
In the same way, Ted Cruz hates Obamacare. He recognizes that Obamacare is an anvil around the neck of American freedom and prosperity. What is most important about his “filibuster” and the shutdown is that he has left no doubt in the minds of Americans exactly where he stands. Not only about where he stands, but also about his willingness to suffer the slings and arrows from both the opposition and those within his own party in order to make a clear statement. And that statement is that big government in general and Obamacare in particular are bad for America.
Many GOP establishment types pilloried Cruz for the shutdown, saying that had it not been for the shutdown he championed, the news from October 1st would have been the failure of Obamacare itself. They are simply wrong. Had the shutdown gone on longer two things would have occurred.
The first is the most telling: Given enough time it would have become clear to more and more Americans that the “shutdown” of the federal government would not bring about the end of the world, despite the warnings from the big government types in both parties. This was the real reason that the media and the Washington establishment focused on the shutdown. By the shutdown demonstrating the irrelevancy of Washington to the lives of so many Americans, they feared that the voting public might just decide that they didn’t really need to be taxed to the hilt and mortgaged beyond their lifetimes to pay for things that didn’t really matter. As such, the war on Ted Cruz and the Tea Party via the shutdown had to be job number one, which it was. The reality of this fact can be seen in the results of a Washington Post / ABC poll. Despite weeks of shrill coverage and apocalyptic predictions, once the shutdown was over a full 78% of Americans reported that they weren’t inconvenienced by the shutdown at all and another 11% felt only minor inconveniences. When 89% of the population barely notices that you’re not showing up for work it’s time to be concerned about your job. The establishment was… and it should be.
The second thing that would have occurred had the shutdown continued is the thing that is happening right now. Americans would have become well aware of the train wreck that is Obamacare because it’s so catastrophic a failure that it would have been impossible to miss. The failures of the website are legion, as are the basic elements of Obamacare itself. As more and more people were feeling the punch – i.e. losing their current health insurance, seeing premiums skyrocket and watching their choices disappear – the reality of the actual damage caused by Obamacare would have become more than the sycophant media cold hide. It’s one thing to read about our Spoiled Child in Chief keeping veterans from visiting monuments to their fallen brethren, but it’s another thing altogether to get a notice from your insurance company telling you you’ve lost your coverage or that your premiums have doubled and your deductible has tripled. Those are the kinds of things people notice regardless of what is going on in Washington.

Amnesty Is Republican Party Suicide!

Creators Syndicate ^ | October 29, 2013 | Phyllis Schlafly

Most Americans believe that the United States of America is an exceptional country. The "borders test" proves that people are coming to America, not fleeing from America to exit to other countries.
Republicans and conservatives recognize that the principal reason for our unique abundance is our constitutional restraints on the power of government, separation of powers, balanced budgets, and a minimum of government supervision and interference in our daily lives. America offers a remarkable opportunity for foreigners; no matter what socioeconomic rank they were assigned in their native country.
Most of the millions of immigrants we have welcomed came from countries where the only government they knew was one that made all decisions about economic and social policy. The current level of legal immigration to America adds thousands of people every day whose views and experience are contrary to the conservative value of limited government.
The influx of these new voters will reduce or eliminate Republicans' ability to offer an alternative to big government, increased government spending, and favorite liberal policies such as Obamacare and gun control. New voters will lean on our hard-pressed health care system and overcrowded public schools to demand more government services.
Amnesty advocates point to the assimilation of large numbers of immigrants in the early years of the 20th century. But that was followed by a national pause and slowdown of immigration from the 1920s to the 1960s, which allowed newcomers to assimilate, learn our language, and adapt to our system of government.
Under current law, 1.1 million new legal immigrants come in every year. The Congressional Budget Office projections indicate that amnesty, plus its scheduled increases in legal immigration, will add an additional 4.6 million new voters by 2014.

CMS Administrator on Obamacare: ‘We Have a System That’s Working' (huh?)

Cybercast News Service ^ | 10/29/13 | Melanie Hunte

Marilyn Tavenner, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), testified before the House Ways & Means Committee on Tuesday that the Obamacare enrollment system is “working.” “So what I can guarantee is we have a system that’s working. We’re gonna improve the speed of that system,” she said at the hearing on Obamacare enrollment. The Obamacare website, healthcare.gov, has been rife with problems for those trying to enroll in the health care insurance program. Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Texas) had asked Tavenner if she could guarantee that “no American will experience a gap in their health care.” Brady interrupted Tavenner’s response,

Sebelius: Blame Contractors For Obamacare Site

National Journal ^ | October 29, 2013 | Sam Baker

A week after the contractors who built HealthCare.gov blamed the Obama administration for the site's failures, the administration is shifting the blame right back.
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will tell a House committee tomorrow the site's botched rollout was the result of contractors failing to live up to expectations – not bad management at HHS, as the contractors suggested.
"CMS has a track record of successfully overseeing the many contractors our programs depend on to function. Unfortunately, a subset of those contracts for HealthCare.gov have not met expectations," Sebelius said in prepared testimony for tomorrow's hearing before the Energy and Commerce Committee.

Obamacare and NSA spying: What did Obama know, and when did he find out?

CNN.com ^ | October 29, 2013 | By Catherine E. Shoichet and Holly Yan

When it comes to leadership and personal responsibility, President Barack Obama has made his stance very clear: "The buck stops with me."
It's a phrase he's echoed countless times in the past. But now, he's dealing with an accountability double-whammy -- fallout from the botched Obamacare website and global fury over the wiretapping of some allied leaders' conversations.
So what all did the President know, and when did he find out? Depends on who you ask.
Questions about what the President knew and when he knew it have important implications, analysts say. If Obama was aware, that could mean he isn't being clear with the American public now. And if he wasn't aware, that could mean his own staff kept him in the dark.

Obamacare Cruz-in for titanic ‘I told you so’

Boston Herald ^ | October 29, 2013 | By Deroy Murdock

One year from today — and perhaps much sooner U.S. Sens. Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, and other Republican “extremists” will look like heroes. For trying recently to defund the (un)Affordable Care Act, Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid smeared them as “anarchists,” and both liberals and some weak-kneed Republicans have offered their own denunciations.
But as the S.S. Obama-care traverses dangerous seas, these brave conservatives will look increasingly like dockhands who begged passengers to avoid a reputedly invincible craft. “Stay off the ship,” they shouted before it embarked. “It’s going to sink!”
Consumer Reports advises: “Stay away from HealthCare.gov for at least another month, if you can.”
The gashes in Obama-care’s hull will scream for attention as its maiden journey becomes a voyage of the damned.

Grover Norquist Turns to Progressive Media in Crusade Against Ted Cruz!

Big Government ^ | 10/28/2013 | MATTHEW BOYLE

Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) president Grover Norquist has now turned to left-wing media to continue his smear campaign against Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), a first-year senator already emerging as a leader of the Republican Party.
“I have never had a criticism of Ted Cruz’s strategy because I’ve never been able to find it,” Norquist said Monday night on Sirius XM’s Standup with Pete Dominick, according to a report in The Daily Beast. Dominick is a reliably progressive radio host who hosts his show on the liberal POTUS network on Sirius XM. The Daily Beast is similarly liberal, having dropped notions of objectivity when Tina Brown killed the Newsweek arm of the publication.
Norquist’s staffers have engaged in a deliberative Twitter campaign against Cruz and the Tea Party movement. Ryan Ellis, the tax policy director for Norquist’s downtown Washington, D.C., organization, recently attacked the National Review’s Andrew Johnson on Twitter. “hey look, the idiot from NRO who thinks shutting down the govt defunds obamacare is attacking me, too,” Ellis tweeted, referencing a story Johnson posted on National Review’s website including a tweet showing he views Sen. Cruz as a “despicable man who lies to good people.”
Ellis also called Tea Partiers “freaking retarded.”
“I've gotta tell you, man, I'm starting to think these tea party activists are freaking retarded,” Ellis said in one of the tweets Johnson posted, directed at right-of-center writer David Freddoso.
