Barack Obama’s denialism puts us in greater jeopardy!

Flopping Aces ^ | 01-30-15 | DrJohn

obama-negotiate-taliban
Barack Obama is a liar. That we know- it's a given. All of his statements have an expiration date and whatever he says, the opposite is true (DrJohn's Law).
As his lies pile up, the ramifications are becoming dangerous to the US, especially with regard to foreign policy.
Yesterday the White House asserted that the Taliban was not a terrorist group.

The White House today said that the Taliban is not a terror group, but rather an “armed insurgency.”Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz responded to a question about whether Jordan’s plan to make a prisoner trade with ISIS was similar to the U.S. swapping five Taliban members for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.
First, Schultz said that the U.S. doesn’t negotiate with terrorists. Then he said, “I don’t think that the Taliban … the Taliban is an armed insurgency.”
To which Charles Krauthammer said:

“It slits throats, it attacks buses, it drives car bombs into markets, and it’s not a terrorist group. Look, you can’t parody this administration.”
Today it is reported that the Taliban killed three American contractors in a terrorist attack:

The Taliban have claimed responsibility for an attack at a military base at Kabul's international airport that killed three Americans and one Afghan Thursday.A U.S. official confirmed that the shooting occurred at about 6:40 p.m. local time Thursday. There was no further comment because the incident was under investigation.
The Taliban's claim of responsibility came in a message from spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, who identified the attacker as a man named Hessanulla from Laghman province, just east of Kabul.
Mujahid said that the militant had infiltrated the ranks of Afghanistan's forces to stage the attack and wore an Afghan police uniform. An Afghan official with the country's Defense Ministry said the attacker was in an Afghan army uniform. According to The Washington Post, Mujahid added in a tweet that the terrorist had "opened fire on invaders" before he was "martyred by return fire." It was not immediately clear if the Afghan confirmed dead was the gunman.
Despite the Obama administration's denial that the Taliban is a terrorist group White House press Secretary Josh Earnest said the Taliban does "carry out tactics that are akin to terrorism, they do pursue terror attacks in an effort to try to advance their agenda."
So according to Obama the Taliban is an "armed insurgency" that commits terrorist attacks but they're not a terrorist organization. Got that?

Ralph Peters: Obama Admin "Pressuring The Army To Whitewash" Bergdahl Fiasco

RCP ^

LT. COL. RALPH PETERS: What we have here is very, very clear, it's damnably clear that the White House which doesn't understand why this is a big deal. I mean, he just deserted, right?Wouldn't anybody do that? And they just want to protect the president. And they are pressuring the Army, pressuring the Army to whitewash this. And they don't understand that for the military, those who went before, retirees like me, those on active duty, this is a powerful matter, as you heard from the young soldier, of precedent and principle.

Mavericks? Independents far outnumber Republicans and Democrats - and it’s recordbreaking!

Washington Times ^ | 1/8/2015 | Jennifer Harper

Republican, Democrat — and Maverick? We already know that Americans are weary of Congress, the White House, gridlock and government. Now that ire has inspired voter defections: The number of self-described ‘independents” is at a record high level says substantive new Gallup research. “An average 43 percent of Americans identified politically as independents in 2014,” says analyst Jeffrey M. Jones, who also reports the number is the highest since the pollster began tracking the phenomenon in 1988.

Nevada and Tennessee Make It 26 States Suing To Stop Obama's Amnesty

Townhall. ^ | Jan 27, 2015 | Conn Carroll

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced Monday that both Nevada and Tennessee have joined the Lone Star state's challenge of President Obama's executive amnesty, bringing the total number of states fighting Obama's unilateral immigration policies to 26.
“Texas is proud to lead a coalition that now includes a majority of the United States standing up against the President’s rogue actions,” Attorney General Ken Paxton said in a statement. “The momentum against the President's lawlessness continues to build with Tennessee and Nevada joining the effort to protect our states from the economic and public safety implications of illegal amnesty. As President Obama himself has said numerous times, he lacks the authority to impose amnesty. His actions represent a blatant case of overreach and clear abuse of power.”
U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen already heard oral arguments in the case January 15th, where Texas argued that Obama's amnesty would create a new wave of illegal immigration that would burden state governments. “This is the second time they’ve done it in two years,” Texas attorney Andrew Oldham told Hanen. “People think: They’ve done it twice in two years. Maybe they’ll do it again in 2016.”
...
the full list of 26 states suing Obama over his executive amnesty are: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin.

2014 Was Not the ‘Hottest Year on Record’. So Why Did NASA Claim It Was?

Breitbart News ^ | 1/23/2015 | James Delingpole

“2014 was the hottest year on record.”
Q: If the above statement is not true – and (see below) it isn’t – would it make it any more true were it to be uttered in an important speech at Davos by fashion designer, songwriter and hip hop producer Pharrell Williams?...
It began spreading earlier this month when NASA GISS’s director Gavin Schmidt held a press conference to declare that 2014 was the hottest year ever recorded. This sounded jolly impressive.
But there were, it subsequently emerged, several things wrong with this headline story.
The first – which, admittedly, you would have realised had you read reports like this one in the Guardian – is that “hottest year on record” isn’t quite so dramatic as initially sounds.
The second is, as David Rose noted in the Mail On Sunday, that the criteria by which NASA declared “2014 was the hottest year on record” do not stand up to serious scientific scrutiny.
Yet the Nasa press release failed to mention this, as well as the fact that the alleged ‘record’ amounted to an increase over 2010, the previous ‘warmest year’, of just two-hundredths of a degree – or 0.02C. The margin of error is said by scientists to be approximately 0.1C – several times as much.
As a result, GISS’s director Gavin Schmidt has now admitted Nasa thinks the likelihood that 2014 was the warmest year since 1880 is just 38 per cent.
Odds of 38 per cent are not a racing certainty. If you translated it into a bet you’d lose more often than you’d win. NASA was lying to us. Or, at best, wilfully misleading us.

Obama WH Hiding Bowe Bergdahl Charges — Treason Too?

Investor's Business Daily ^ | January 27, 2015 | IBD EDITORIALS

Transparency: The administration is said to be hiding for reasons of damage control a report on the soldier we traded five Taliban leaders for. Bowe Bergdahl's lawyers have already been given a charge sheet for desertion.
Both Fox News and now NBC News have reported that Sgt. Bergdahl will be charged with desertion. "I have been told and confirmed by two other sources that his attorney has been given what we call a charge sheet," retired Army Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer, a respected military analyst, told Fox's Bill O'Reilly on Monday. NBC's Jim Miklaszewski quoted senior defense officials on Tuesday as saying charges could be referred within a week.
"A charge sheet is the results of investigation listing out the articles of the Uniform Code of Military Justice that have been violated," Shaffer e xplained. "The key violation is desertion."

Ted Cruz 2016: 7 Highlights From Pre-Politics Life of GOP Presidential Hopeful

NewsMax ^ | January 27, 2015 | Lisa Cunningham

Ted Cruz, an outspoken attorney whose first elected role was as a U.S. senator from Texas, is seen as a strong contender for a run for president in 2016. Although he’s only been a senator since 2012, Cruz has already ingratiated himself with the Tea Party.
Here are seven highlights from his pre-politics life:

1. His father was a political prisoner of Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista during Fidel Castro's revolution and nearly lost his life. "Being the son of an immigrant who came here fleeing oppression and seeking freedom, I think, is an incredible gift," Cruz has said. "It makes you deeply appreciative of the miracle of freedom that we enjoy in this country."
2. By the time Cruz was in his mid-30s, he had already argued eight cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, including the Texas congressional redistricting case. That’s the most of any Texas attorney.
3. Cruz was part of a legal team that defended the constitutionality of the Texas 10 Commandments monument while he was the state’s solicitor general. The team argued that the 10 Commandments are international law, and the U.S. Supreme Court decided that the display was allowed on government property because of its historical significance.
4. He also defended the constitutionality of a cross dedicated to World War I veterans at California’s Mojave National Preserve, which is administered by the National Park Service. The American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit to have the cross removed, but the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of the cross....

Phone Company ‘Outraged’ By Fraud, Abuse In ‘Obamaphone’ Program!

CBS Denver ^ | 1/26/2015 | Brian Maass

DENVER (CBS4) – A nationwide cellphone company distributing phones and cellphone plans in Denver as part of a massive government program says it is “outraged by the unacceptable actions” uncovered by a CBS4 undercover investigation.
The response from Total Call Mobile comes nearly three months after an undercover CBS4 investigation revealed multiple examples of fraud and cheating in the phone distribution program.
The Lifeline program is aimed at providing free cellphone service to the poor and needy. It handed out more than 13 million free cellphone plans in the first six months of 2014. In Colorado, the program handed out more than 117,000 free cellphone plans in the first half of 2014 or about 20,000 cellphones every month.
If you own a cellphone, you pay for the free phones and their wireless plans via a monthly tax on your cellphone called the Universal Service Tax. Although the Lifeline wireless program has been around since 2005 and started under President George W. Bush, it ballooned under President Obama and the phones are often referred to as Obamaphones.

5 Reasons Liberals Hate Soldiers Like Chris Kyle

Townhall.com ^ | 1-27-2015 | John Hawkins

American Sniper had a record-breaking debut. It’s the widest release ever for an R-rated movie, the biggest debut ever for a Best Picture Oscar nominee; it’s the highest grossing January movie in history and it’s already the second highest grossing war movie of all-time.

The movie has already gone beyond “blockbuster” all the way up to “cultural phenomenon” in the space of a few weeks’ time. However, ironically, as the movie has become more popular with the public, liberals have gotten more and more upset about it. You’ve already seen the quotes from Michael Moore and Bill Maher, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg. Just to give you an example of how agitated this film makes liberals, here are article titles that are all currently running or linked on the front of the far left-wing website Alternet.

WATCH: Chomsky Blasts 'American Sniper' and the Media that Glorifies It

7 Big Lies 'American Sniper' Is Telling America

Eastwood's 'American Sniper' Is One Big Historically Dishonest Action Flick

Bill Maher Takes a Shot at ‘American Sniper’ for Glorifying ‘Psychopath Patriot’ Chris Kyle

'American Sniper' Has Incited Death Threats and Racism -- It's Far from 'Apolitical'

At first glance, this seems to be bizarre because despite that last title, the movie could fairly be called “apolitical,” it doesn’t glamorize war and it doesn’t gloss over the human cost of battle. The film shows Chris Kyle’s friends dying, his marriage suffering and Kyle struggling with the things he has to do. Soldiers are shown on the screen with missing limbs, Kyle is seen at funerals for his friends and it’s made very clear that he has a lot of trouble adjusting to civilian life.

Every liberal may not have a problem with this movie, but why is it that so many do? Is it that Kyle was a sniper? Is it because Clint Eastwood directed the movie? Could liberals just be traumatized from their battles with Duck Dynasty and hate guys with beards? What is their problem withAmerican Sniper?

Simple: their problem is that they don’t like soldiers like Chris Kyle and they detest the movie because it treats them as worthy of praise. Why do liberals feel this way?

1) Soldiers tend to be conservative: Soldiers tend to be almost reflexively conservative; so even the ones who don’t listen to Rush Limbaugh or know who Mike Lee is tend to lean to the Right. Liberals might not have a problem with traitors like Bradley Manning, deserters like Bowe Bergdahl or dirtbags like John Kerry who condemn their fellow soldiers (“randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan”), but they don’t like conservative soldiers any more than they like conservative Tea Partiers. If anything, the soldiers are worse in their eyes because the troops all have guns.

2) Soldiers tend to be patriotic: When I think of patriotism and soldiers, the first thing that comes to mind are those lines from Toby Keith’sCourtesy Of The Red, White And Blue.

My daddy served in the army
Where he lost his right eye
But he flew a flag out in our yard
Until the day that he died

In my experience, most soldiers have a deep and abiding love of country – and Chris Kyle was no different. At one point in the movie, when he’s responding to his future wife, Chris Kyle says,

“Why would you say I’m self-centered? I’d lay down my life for my country.”

The sad truth is that most liberals don’t like America very much. When they think of America, they don’t think of waving flags, a city on a hill and “the land of the free,” they think of a rotten country they want to change before it hurts more people. The idea that there are people out there who are willing to die for this country because they think it’s such a great place is like a thumb in the eye for people who read Noam Chomsky, like Jane Fonda, and wish we could be more like Belgium.

3) Soldiers kill people: Why does Bill Maher think Chris Kyle was a “psychopath?” Kyle was killing bad guys, he didn’t do it for pleasure, he was justified in eliminating his targets and had he not done so, it’s likely a lot of Americans would have died. So, why does Maher call Kyle a “psychopath?” Because Chris Kyle killed people, just like our other soldiers fighting and dying in Iraq. Certainly liberals like Bill Maher would NEVER kill people….because men like Chris Kyle do it for them and the rest of us so we can stay safe. Some of us appreciate that. Liberals don’t – which is why they need to be reminded that George Orwell was right when he said, "People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."
4) Liberals are Utopian thinkers: Liberalism is a guy using an Apple and an IPod railing against corporations. It’s a doofus with a sign that says, “Who Needs Oil? I Ride The Bus!” It’s a guy eating a cheeseburger talking about how awful it is that anyone hunts for food. The reason that Jack Nicholson’s famous speech from A Few Good Men resonated with so many people, even though he was a bad guy in the movie, is that what he said is such a perfect response to armchair critics who want the freedom our soldiers insure without doing the dirty, dangerous and messy work they have to do to provide it. You can't handle the truth! Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lieutenant Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago and you curse the Marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know, that Santiago's death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives! You don't want the truth, because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall. You need me on that wall. We use words like "honor", "code", "loyalty". We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it! I would rather you just said "thank you", and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!

5) Liberals view our troops as the moral equivalent of the people they’re fighting: Liberals were very upset that Chris Kyle referred to the people we were fighting in Iraq as “savages.” Of course, if people who deliberately murder civilians, use their children as suicide bombers and inflict power drills and beheading on captives aren’t savages, then the word has no meaning. Unfortunately, liberals have become so reluctant to make moral judgments that they are simply unable to see the differences between our troops and the people they’re fighting.

So, when liberal Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur compared Osama Bin Laden to the “revolutionaries that helped to cast off the British crown” or Ted Rall says, “Do our government’s poorly paid contract killers deserve our ‘support’ for blindly following orders?” they’re revealing that they’re morally unable to see the difference between our troops and the people they’re fighting. Most of us may have seen American Sniper as a film about a selfless hero saving American lives, but liberals saw two groups of monsters plugging away at each other and thought, “If only they could both lose!”

Democratic Pickpockets and Purse Snatchers

The American Spectator ^ | January 26, 2015 | Ross Kaminsky

Like walking in a neighborhood full of pickpockets and purse snatchers, living under the Obama administration should leave all Americans worried about what will be pilfered from them next.

In one of the most hypocritical moves yet—and that’s saying something—by a man who exhaled a lot of hot air in recent weeks, including during the State of the Union speech, talking about the importance of a college education, President Obama is now proposing to end tax-free withdrawals from 529 college savings accounts, diminishing (or perhaps even eliminating)their attractiveness as savings vehicles and thereby reducing incentives for millions of American families to create a college nest egg for their children.
Contributions to 529 plans are not deductible for federal income tax purposes but are deductible in 34 states and the District of Columbia.(Since seven states have no state income tax, 529 plans receive favorable tax treatment in all but nine states.) The income earned within a 529 plan can be withdrawn tax free when used for “qualified higher education expenses.”
The most recent study of the 529 program by the College Savings Plan Network says that “total assets and total number of open accounts have reached new record levels of more than $244 billion and 11.8 million, respectively.” The number of 529 accounts grew by six percent in the first half of 2014 alone.
President Obama is one of those 11.8 million, having contributed a stunning $240,000 to his daughters’ 529 plans in 2007. Since the president’s proposal would impact new contributions rather than those already made, it would leave his daughters’ college savings in good shape; he had the financial wherewithal to drop a quarter million dollars into those accounts all at once. But for those of us (including me)who make modest monthly or annual contributions to our children’s futures, we’re out of luck.....

Obama Feuds with Bibi Because He's 'Like a Republican'

Arutz Sheva ^ | 25/1/15 | Uzi Baruch

Hank Sheinkopf, former adviser to ex-US President Bill Clinton during his election campaign from 1995 to 1996, spoke with Arutz Sheva about the complicated political relations between Israeli and American leaders.
Video
Hank Sheinkopf, former adviser to ex-US President Bill Clinton during his election campaign from 1995 to 1996, spoke with Arutz Sheva about the complicated political relations between Israeli and American leaders.
Speaking about the tense relations between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and US President Barack Obama, Sheinkopf remarked that how the world feels about Netanyahu is not important to Israelis, whereas it is very important to American Jews who directly deal with public perceptions of the Jewish state.
As far as Netanyahu and Obama not getting along, he opined it "is no different than Clinton and Netanyahu not getting along," noting an "ideological inconsistency" behind the tensions.
"American presidents are used to dealing with Jews who are Democrats and liberals, and here (that) is not the case with Netanyahu," explained Sheinkopf, claiming Netanyahu is more along the lines of a Republican.
.....
On a different topic, Sheinkopf spoke about Israel's difficulties in presenting its case to the world.

Obama, the Shiite, Goes to Riyadh

PJ Media ^ | January 24, 2015 | Roger L. Simon

Remember how Richard Nixon told us to watch what he does, not what he says? Good advice. Well, Barack Obama — our POTUS who makes Nixon and Clinton seem like Diogenes — thinks like a postmodern agnostic, professes to be a Christian, but acts like a Shiite.

During Obama’s presidency the influence of Ayatollah Khamenei’s Iranian Shiite regime has spread across the world like the proverbial wildfire, reaching from North Africa into Iraq, Lebanon (via Hezbollah), Syria (via Assad whose red line on chemical weapons famously faded into invisibility), Gaza (via improved relations with Hamas) and now into Yemen (via the Houthis) and undoubtedly a number of other places, including Venezuela, North Korea and Cuba. And our president, consciously or unconsciously or both, has had as much to do as anyone with the creation of this nascent, soon-to-be nuclear armed and missile-ready fundamentalist “Greater Persia.” No wonder the Sunni Saudis are alarmed — they have been for a long time — and no wonder Obama suddenly decided to replace Biden in paying a condolence visit to Riyadh for the death of King Abdullah. He has some powerful fence-mending to do that pretend bowing and scraping may not so easily solve.
Much of this Iran-coddling began back when the Green Movement was in the streets of Tehran seeking the overthrow of the ayatollahs and chanting “Obama, Obama… Are you with us or are you with them?” Our president did not respond. He was already in private communication with the bizarre Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Obama wanted to be the one who got credit for reining in the excesses of the Islamic Republic, not those unruly student demonstrators who were the ones suffering from the regime in the first place, being murdered, tortured and raped in Evin Prison, often in reverse order.
Indeed, this unconscionable and out-of-control narcissism has been the key to Obama’s foreign policy throughout and accounts for the catastrophic global results we see in front of us now. The “leading from behind” mantra has always been a fraud, masking what it really means “I, Barack, know best and manipulate affairs from behind.” It’s all about me. (Is it ever!)
Now I realize Obama is not really a Shiite. He was raised in Sunni Indonesia. And, yes, Sunnis — notably ISIS, Boko Haram and AQAP — are leading the way in the public butchery department for the moment and need to be opposed with all our might. But that doesn’t mean Shiites are not active. Just the other day we had the mysterious Buenos Aires death of Alberto Nisman who was about to reveal truths about the 1994 bombing of the Jewish community center in that city in which 85 were killed — a kind of simultaneous beheading in which Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and Hezbollah are said to be the culprits. Almost anyone honest and awake knows the Islamic Republic is and has been the primary state sponsor of terrorism world wide for decades.
Yet Obama persists in playing sides in a literally insane Shiite-Sunni religious conflict that has gone on so long it makes the Hundred Years’ War seem like the three-week invasion of Grenada. (Interestingly, in a January 20 column, “Say It Like It Is,” Thomas Friedman finally breaks the New York Times omertà on radical Islam, saying the president is wrong for not naming the enemy. But in doing so, Friedman isolates the violence as almost all coming from Arab and Pakistani Sunnis, giving the president continued cover to appease Iran.) The reason for Obama’s persistence is not religious, but the aforementioned narcissism. He had already plighted his troth on a pax Iranian. Making it easier was his longtime conviction that Western imperialism was the root cause of most evil on the planet anyway. The president now has an Iran deal so tied up in his mind with his legacy that the appearance of Netanyahu in front of Congress opens a psychological wound so large Obama is likely to do almost anything. The world — not just Saudi Arabia and Israel — had better beware.

Hollywood actor Rob Lowe: Obama prefers fruit loops over Netanyahu

The Jerusalem Post ^ | January 25, 2015 | Tovah Lazaroff, Deputy Managing Editor

Rob Lowe can't believe that Obama won't meet with Netanyahu, but will meet with YouTube star.
How is it that a woman famous for eating cereal in a bathtub can get an audience with US President Barack Obama, when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu failed to do so? asked Rob Lowe on Twitter.
Among the Hollywood actor’s famous roles, is that of Deputy White House Communications Director in the television show The West Wing.
On Friday Lowe entered a real-life diplomatic drama, when he weighed in on one of the most serious crises in the often infamous series of political battles that have raged between Obama and Netanyahu in the last six years.
Lowe mocked Obama, for a live streamed meeting he held Thursday with three YouTube stars on Thursday, GloZell Green, Hank Green and Bethany Mota.
In a publicly move that targeted younger Americans, the three YouTube stars interviewed Obama.
A GloZell's video that garnered 9.7 million hits on YouTube, showed her eating fruit loops in a milk filled bathtub for what she called the cereal challenge.
Her interview with Obama occurred the same day that the White House announced that the US President would not meet with Netanyahu in early March, when he visits Washington.
It's the first time Netanyahu will visit Washington without meeting Obama.
On Friday Lowe sent out the following tweet to his 1.02 million followers.

'Repeal every word': Potential GOP 2016 rivals hammer ObamaCare, IRS at Iowa summit

Fox News ^ | 1-25-2015 | Barnini Chakraborty

“The most important tax reform we can do is abolish the IRS,” Texas Sen. Ted Cruz told the fired-up audience.
The firebrand senator compared the EPA to a locust and got a huge reaction when he demanded to “repeal every word of ObamaCare.”
Sarah Palin, too, after telling reporters she’s thinking about a 2016 run, laced her speech with snappy one-liners as she lit into the current president.
Of Obama, she said: “America, he’s just not that into you.” The 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee also knocked the idea of a Hillary Clinton run.
“Hey Iowa, can anyone stop Hillary? To borrow a phrase, yes, we can!” she said.
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry – who was interrupted by immigration protesters – helped closed out the daylong event. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum spoke earlier.
Christie also was interrupted by a protester in the crowd. Unlike Perry, who kept talking through it, Christie couldn’t resist. “Don’t they know I am from New Jersey? This stuff doesn’t bother me one bit,” he said.
Carson, who has been flirting with the idea of a 2016 presidential run, told the crowd the next president should "make it their goal to seal the border within a year."
