Obama Ass Kisser Val Jarrett 'Not Sure' about anything!

PJ Media ^ | June 8, 2017 | Nicholas Ballasy

Valerie Jarrett, former senior advisor to  Obama, said the Trump administration is “abdicating” the United States’ role as the “world leader” and the “beacon of hope” by withdrawing from the Paris climate accord.

[snip]“So I think it signals to the world that the United States is not serious about protecting our planet. Now, I don’t know what other way to interpret a decision that I think could be as dramatically negatively impactful as that decision. And what it means is the rest of the world will move forward without us and the United States has always been that beacon of hope, the leader, the world leader, that’s why we’re called the world leader and we’re basically abdicating that role, so that’s disappointing to me,” she added.

At Least 9 of 38 Deep State ‘Leaks’ to Media Outlets Are Linked to James Comey!

The Gateway Pundit ^ | June 8, 2017 | Jim Hoft

Today fired former FBI Director James Comey stated that he leaked data to a Columbia University friend who in turn provided the leaked information to the New York Times. Comey did this even though he stated under oath in the past that he never leaked information to the press. The current updated analysis of the most recent list of so-called ‘leaks’ being reported and repeated by the liberal mainstream media (MSM) involving President Trump includes at least 38 leaks in total. Many of these ‘leaks’ are now proven fabrications and the probability that many remaining ‘leaks’ are completely inaccurate is very high.

The leaks are all being reported by biased liberal media outlets that were adamantly opposed to the election of President Trump.
These ‘leaks’ in all cases still are not supported with any names of so-called sources and in all cases the ‘leaks’ are meant to destroy the current President.
After today’s testimony it is important to note that Former FBI Director James Comey reportedly made statements that were revealed in the liberal media as ‘leaks’. Comey admitted at least one leak today. Of the 38 leaks listed below, nine are related to James Comey.
How many of these did Comey actually leak?
Here is the updated list of the leaks, the date they occurred, the source of the leak, and analysis of the leak.

James Comey's Leadership Of The FBI Has Permanently Damaged The Integrity Of The United States!

IWB ^ | Pamela Williams

I intend to use research from my past reports to prove James Comey has permanently damaged the integrity of the United States. Further, he cannot be taken seriously, and not only should he have been fired; but after his testimony from June 8, 2016 on Capitol Hill, a special prosecutor should be appointed to investigate Comey’s crimes. He is plainly guilty of treason against the United States! He has proven he is unprofessional and mishandled each and every task given to him as Director of the FBI. I am sick and tired of this ongoing narrative by unprofessional lawmakers, who simply hate President Trump and have no actual evidence of his wrongdoing. In fact, there is evidence of their wrongdoing!

James B. Comey was sworn in on September 4, 2013 as the seventh FBI Director in the Bureau’s modern era. In his oath he swore: I, James B. Comey, [Attorney General Eric Holder: do solemnly swear] do solemnly swear [Holder: that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States] that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States [Holder: against all enemies, foreign and domestic] against all enemies, foreign and domestic…
Comey broke his oath of office as FBI Director in the following ways:
He conducted a faux investigation into the State Department email scandal in which dozens of confidential and top-secret emails passing through an unsecured, private server put our national security at risk. He handed out immunity deals to most of the major players involved in the investigation. He ignored evidence to protect the Clinton Team from prosecution. He put President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton’s political legacy ahead of the law.

Live and Totally Biased: A Look Back at Partisan Decisions on What Hearings Were 'Historic'

Newsbusters.org ^ | June 8, 2017 | Tim Graham

One obvious way the TV networks proclaim what is History In The Making is by putting it on live television – canceling their daytime line-ups and eating advertising revenue for “public service.” ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS are all offering live broadcast coverage of former FBI director James Comey's testimony on Thursday. In addition to three regular cable news channels, the business channels are all going live, too: Bloomberg, CNBC, and Fox Business.

It’s unsurprising that they have a liberal bias in deciding just which scandals get the daytime or prime-time live coverage. Here’s a brief look back at the live-coverage tilt:

Watergate. The networks jumped at live coverage of the Watergate hearings beginning in May of 1973. “Millions of U.S. households bore witness to the Senate Watergate Committee's tactical destruction of White House subterfuge,” ABC warmly remembered in 2013. The networks all went live for five days, and then started rotating among the three networks.

It was a big moment for the empowerment of PBS. Laurence Jarvik notes in his book PBS: Behind the Screen how PBS used daily live coverage of the Watergate hearings -- complete with nightly repeats in prime time -- to build PBS's reputation in the early years, and stick it to their enemies. Jim Lehrer wrote: "As programming, the Watergate broadcasts were a terrific hit with the audience and the stations and established once and for all that real public affairs programming has a permanent place on public broadcasting." Lehrer added: "As justice, it was pure delicious. We were being bailed out by the sins of a president who was trying to do us in. He and his minions were so distracted by the crumbling of his presidency that the plan to crumble us was abandoned and forgotten."

Iran-Contra. Fourteen years later, the networks jumped at live coverage of hearings into Ronald Reagan’s Iran-Contra scandal. Once again, the networks all covered the opening days, then started rotating who would offer live coverage. Once again, PBS cleared its decks to stick it to the Republicans, with the hope of electing a Democratic president in 1988.

Anita Hill. While the networks weren't breaking into daily coverage for the first set of confirmation hearings for Clarence Thomas, when NPR broke the unproven sexual harassment charges of Anita Hill, the networks all aired live coverage over the weekend of October 11, to 13, 1991. A MediaWatch study of all the live coverage found that on 28 occasions, the network anchors and reporters singled out the Republicans for playing hardball or fighting dirty. NBC's Andrea Mitchell complained "It's basically what happened in the '88 campaign. The Republicans know how to fight dirty." On two occasions, CBS blamed both parties as "smear and counter-smear." No one singled out the Democrats as the dirty tricksters -- instead, Hill's unproven leak was praised as part of a trend of leakers doing a "public service."

No one singled out the Democrats as the dirty tricksters -- instead, Hill's unproven leak was praised as part of a trend of leakers doing a "public service."
Whitewater. In July and August of 1995, the House and Senate held hearings into the Whitewater real-estate scandal. The Clintons entered a business partnership with Jim and Susan McDougal, who ran an S&L into the ground while they enriched themselves. Hillary Clinton then worked as a lawyer for McDougal. Both McDougals went to prison, and Hillary's legal colleague (and White House colleague) Vince Foster committed suicide. But there was no live network coverage, and the evening and morning news coverage was light. From July 16 (two days before the Senate hearings began) to August 10, ABC, CBS, and NBC offered only 24 full stories combined -- ten on CBS, eight on ABC, and three each on NBC and CNN. From July 16 to August 4, the morning shows aired only seven full stories.

Clinton's Asian Collusion. In the 1996 campaign, the Clinton re-election team and other Democrats took large donations from a series of Chinese and Indonesian "Friends of Bill," including people with ties to Red China's army. ABC, CBS, and NBC couldn’t manage any time for live coverage of Sen. Fred Thompson’s hearings into the matter. This was another proof that PBS only went live when Republican presidents were in trouble. As Brit Hume wrote at the time, "If this were Ronald Reagan accused of selling foreign policy to the highest bidder, it's a little hard to imagine this wouldn't have attracted more attention."

An MRC study at the time found the hearings were outranked by the murder of fashion designer Gianni Versace. In the month of July, the evening newscasts on ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN offered 58 full reports on the Thompson hearings, but 93 full stories on the Versace murder. Versace led these newscasts on 30 shows, compared to only five top stories on the Clinton scandal.

The morning shows were even worse. ABC, CBS, and NBC aired 132 full segments on Versace and his killer Andrew Cunanan, but only 18 full segments on the hearings, a ratio of more than seven to one. CBS This Morning offered one full report on the Clinton scandal in the whole month. ABC and NBC sent morning co-hosts to Miami, not to Washington. Our headline in MediaWatch mocked the news judgment: "Dressmakers Outrank Democrats."  ABC anchor Carole Simpson plugged a "look at why average Americans seem to be paying so little attention to the campaign finance hearings." Maybe that's because the networks alternated between dismissing and ignoring them.

Clinton Impeachment.  On September 21, 1998, the networks broke in to air in full a videotaped recording of President Clinton’s grand-jury testimony in the Lewinsky matter from a month earlier, on August 17. On November 19, 1998, the networks offered a limited amount of live coverage of Kenneth Starr testifying to the House of Representatives on his case for Clinton’s impeachment.  On Saturday, December 19, the networks offered live coverage of the impeachment vote. NBC's on-staff Kennedy relative Maria Shriver was on hand to denounce the proceedings.

Network boosterism of Bill Clinton continued, unabated. NBC's Tim Russert insisted "The White House looks at this with such great irony. As the impeachment hearings grind on could you have a situation where next year the President cannot go to the Judiciary Committee on a particular day because he’s receiving the Nobel Peace Prize?"

The same pattern happened under President Obama.

Lois Lerner Takes the Fifth. On May 22, 2013, the networks offered no live coverage of hearings into the political machinations at the Internal Revenue Service, despite the drama of IRS tax-exempt organizations boss Lois Lerner abruptly taking the Fifth Amendment. Even the national newspapers moved that story to inside pages like A-17. Nothing about the IRS scandal struck them as resembling Watergate.

Benghazi and Hillary. Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton gave high-profile testimony twice on the Benghazi fiasco and how the State Department was woefully under-prepared for terrorist attacks on our diplomatic buildings. There was no live network coverage on January 23, 2013 -- testimony delayed by Clinton health problems. Instead, there was only gush. ABC anchor Diane Sawyer began: "Last stand. Secretary Hillary Clinton, filled with fiery emotion in her last appearance before Congress....The indignation. And then, the tears in her eyes....It was a valedictory that showed her indignation and emotion as she ends this tenure on the public stage.”

This happened again when Hillary testified for more than 11 hours on October 22, 2015, when there were no live network break-ins and a pile of affirmations in the aftermath. ABC anchor David Muir complained about it costing too much money: "Tonight, Hillary Clinton and the fireworks....As we ask tonight, how much has the American taxpayer spent on the 17-month investigation?"

Until now, the liberal media's defenders could suggest that live coverage of Democratic scandal hearings wasn't political. After all, the rise of cable news with Fox and MSNBC in 1996 would make it easier to just save the money and let the political junkies watch on the 24-hour news networks. The news of the broadcast networks rushing to cover the Comey spectacle in real time crumbles that argument.

Traitor's parents: She’s afraid she’ll be disappeared...what a way raise a daughter!

Hot Air ^ | June 7, 2017 | Ed Morrissey

“I’m terrified, I’m terrified that she’s not going to be treated fairly,” the mother of accused leaker Reality Sara Winner told CBS News after her daughter’s arrest under the Espionage Act for stealing Top Secret documents and passing them along to a media outlet. Billie-Jean Davis says her daughter is afraid that law enforcement will “make her disappear,” but then at the same time claims that the US government wants to make an example of Winner. “That’s not fair,” she tells CBS:
(VIDEO-AT-LINK)

The mother and stepfather of 25-year-old Reality Leigh Winner, the NSA contractor accused of leaking government secrets, are speaking out about their daughter. The Air Force veteran has been in federal custody since Saturday and faces up to 10 years in prison for allegedly passing a classified document to a news outlet.
Winner’s family says she’s not a traitor. …
“Her words to me were that she was really scared that they would make her disappear,” Davis said. …
“I’m terrified. I’m terrified that she’s not going to be treated fairly and that they’re going to try to make an example of her and that’s not fair. Sorry,” Davis said, crying.
No one wants to denigrate the Davises, who are clearly in pain for their daughter, and who are trying to demonstrate loyalty to her in a crisis, but most of this is sheer nonsense. The US does not “disappear” criminals; that’s something that regimes like Iran do on a regular basis. Perhaps Winner should have kept that in mind when pledging her own loyalty to Iran’s foreign minister Javad Zarif on Twitter. Her stepfather claims in this interview that Winner’s a “patriot,” but pledging support to a regime that regularly declares “death to America” and exposing top-secret material to serve one’s own petty political passions are not the acts of patriots.
So now she’s “frightened” and “really scared,” which pretty much describes anyone after getting caught committing a felony. The charges she faces are not “an insult to her and her service,” as her stepfather declares — they are a legitimate consequence of breaking the law. Anyone with a security clearance gets briefed ad nauseam on the consequences for violating the laws and regulations for handling classified material, and those warnings escalate as the clearance level goes up. A person with a Top Secret clearance will have not just been repeatedly warned about the potential for prosecution for violating the Espionage Act, they will undoubtedly have been briefed on recent prosecutions for such violations, as was common when I held a lower clearance in the mid-1980s. Winner was not some clerical stooge who had no concept of 18 USC 793 and its implications.
As for making an example of Winner, that’s precisely what the government needs to do, especially in this instance. There may be times when a whistleblower needs to go outside the chain of command with classified information to expose a specific instance of government wrongdoing, but Congress is still a much more legitimate option than the media. Even if that is true in principle, that has nothing to do with what Winner did. She wasn’t exposing government wrongdoing after trying to raise red flags internally — she exposed Top Secret information to satisfy her own sense of outrage over the results of an election. If Winner goes unpunished for that, we’ll have a deluge of leaks for similar reasons in every administration from here on out, and every president will serve at the whim of 25-year-old extremists in the intelligence agencies or their contractors. That’s not just untenable, it’s undemocratic — and at its core, un-American.
If the Reality Winners of the world think that it’s unfair to get prosecuted for violating the Espionage Act, then there’s a very good way to avoid being made an example: don’t break the law. And if you do, don’t expect the rest of us to feel much sympathy for your fright, your plight, or your take on the general unfairness of life.

Army, Marine Corps Request Delay Of Up To Two Years Before Accepting Transgenders!

Daily Caller ^ | 6/9/17 | Jonah Bennett

The Army and Marine Corps are asking top Pentagon officials for a delay of up to two years in bringing transgender recruits into the military.
Under the Obama administration, the services were given a deadline of July 1 to fully develop policies that would permit transgender recruits to join up, but now those same services are asking for a long delay.
The Army in particular is concerned about the ability of transgenders to deploy to war zones while receiving transition treatments, three government officials told USA Today. The Navy, on the other hand, is prepared to implement Obama administration policy for accepting transgender recruits on July 1.
Obama administration policies still in play from June 2016 allow transgenders already in the military to serve, but Secretary of Defense James Mattis has yet to make a decision on the status of new transgender recruits, in effect ignoring a lot of advocacy from pro-LGBT groups. These groups fear the deadline for acceptance could be pushed back indefinitely. Several retired generals have also asked Mattis not to delay in accepting transgender recruits.
Conservative leaders, however, signed a memo on May 16, urging Mattis to suspend and subsequently rescind policies allowing transgenders to serve in the military and also to pull funding for LGBT events, as they don’t strengthen military readiness.
“President Trump has mandated that his Administration restore the strength of our military,” conservative leaders argued. “We, and most Americans appreciate the steps taken to reinstate the priorities Secretary of Defense (James) Mattis noted during his confirmation hearing: mission readiness, command proficiency, and combat effectiveness.”
“The process of strengthening our military will not succeed, however, if military service personnel have to contend with problematic military/social policies imposed by the Obama Administration – policies that actually impede mission readiness, command proficiency, and combat effectiveness,” the letter continued.
In the meantime, LGBT issues in other arenas are moving along at a steady pace in the military, due to Obama administration holdovers in the Pentagon, specifically Anthony M. Kurta, who is currently performing the duties of the under secretary for personnel and readiness. Kurta issued a LGBT Pride event announcement on June 2, which encourages LGBT events during duty hours.

The Lighter Side of Assassination?

Townhall.com ^ | June 9, 2017 | Brent Bozell

In the wake of Kathy Griffin holding up a mock severed head of President Trump, it's disturbingly obvious that murderous thoughts about our leaders are now considered by the left to be light, humorous fare, a balm for their anxieties.
It's not just Trump. The latest issue of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo arrived just before the British general election with a tasteless cover cartoon of British Prime Minister Theresa May holding her severed head in her arm. The title above translates to "Multiculturalism the English Way."
It's why we're still with the hashtag #NeSuisPasCharlie.
Griffin's assassination theme is also operating in a poorly disguised Trump version of "Julius Caesar" currently running as the "Shakespeare in the Park" production in New York City's Central Park. Caesar wears a business suit with an overlong necktie and a bushy reddish-blond haircut. His wife, Calpurnia, speaks with a Slavic accent.
The Public Theater website describes this updated production by saying: "Rome's leader, Julius Caesar, is a force unlike any the city has seen. Magnetic, populist, irreverent, he seems bent on absolute power. A small band of patriots, devoted to the country's democratic traditions, must decide how to oppose him. Shakespeare's political masterpiece has never felt more contemporary."
Artistic director Oskar Eustis seconded the emotion that Shakespeare's play was "fresh and new" in our modern age of apparent Trump tyranny, saying, "The institutions that we have grown up with, that we have inherited from the struggle of many generations of our ancestors, can be swept away in no time at all."
In the central act of the original play, Caesar is stabbed to death. In this modernized version, an American flag looms over a bloody stabbing of Trumpy Caesar. One audience member, Laura Sheaffer, was shocked. As quoted by Mediate, she said: "They had the full murder scene onstage, and blood was spewing everywhere out of his body. ... To be honest, I thought it was shocking and distasteful. ... I mean it was the on-stage murder of the president of the United States."
In the era of Trump, one man's distaste is the left's idea of class. The LuEsther T. Mertz Charitable Trust (from the Publishers Clearing House magazine sweepstakes fortune) is the financial patron for all this assassination chic. American Express is the "official card" of this Trump-loathing gang.
Everyone can guess what the reaction of the Manhattan-centered national media would be if this same play had been modernized with a charismatic black president and his fashionable wife with toned arms. The Safe Bet Department says this would never, ever happen in New York City. The Obama-loving press got a nasty case of the vapors when Rush Limbaugh merely wished his agenda would fail, and again when Sen. Mitch McConnell suggested Obama should be denied a second term. Imagine either of them condoning a fictional rendition of his assassination.
But a bloody murder of Trump onstage upsets no one. The New Yorker passed right over it. The New York Times couldn't be moved. There were no spit takes on "Morning Joe."
The socialist British newspaper The Guardian, last seen taking great umbrage that its reporter was shoved to the floor by a congressional candidate in Montana, described the play's Trump assassination plot as "taking a somewhat lighter touch with their Trump resistance themes." A lighter touch? Trump being stabbed like a pincushion? How droll!
CNN Sunday host Fareed Zakaria raved about it on Twitter: "If you're in NYC, go see Julius Caesar, free in Central Park, brilliantly interpreted for Trump era. A masterpiece." That brings the whole Kathy Griffin theme around again. This is why Griffin felt her stunt would only make her more popular at CNN.

Comey: A Six-Foot, Eight-Inch Pajama Boy!

American Thinker ^ | June 9, 2017 | Patricia McCarthy

Aside from revealing that President Trump is guilty of exactly nothing but winning an election, James Comey sure did reveal a lot about himself. His feelings are easily hurt, he gets scared in Trump's presence, he gets nauseated, is weak, gets confused and stunned. He is sorry his workforce had to hear what Trump said about the FBI, that it is in disarray. He sounded like a college snowflake on almost any American college campus in need of a safe space.
After a lifetime as a lawyer, U.S. attorney for the Southern District, U.S. deputy district attorney, and corporate lawyer, this is a man who never should have been appointed as director of the FBI. He does not have the temperament for the job. We learned yesterday that he unlawfully leaked his own memo, property of the FBI, to the press to "spur a special prosecutor" and cover his own backside. Why not turn it over to acting director McCabe or the DOJ? Because he's malicious. He likely leaked a whole lot more to the press that is so in love with anonymous sources. The guy was positively Machiavellian in his attempt to smear Trump and protect himself. But Machiavelli would not be proud; Comey was too clever by half. He essentially admitted that Trump had done nothing wrong beyond making Comey uncomfortable, being a compassionate man regarding Michael Flynn, and not using the approved vernacular or prescribed handshake of the D.C. establishment.

While No One Was Looking, Congress Took A Huge Step Toward Fixing The Economy

Investor's Business Daily ^ | 6/8/2017 | Staff

Deregulation: Former FBI director James Comey's testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee was the fixation of Washington on Thursday. But the big story was on the House side of Congress, which passed a bill to repeal the ruinous Dodd-Frank banking law.

The Financial Choice Act, approved in the House by a 233-to-186 vote (no Democrats voted for the bill), has generated almost zero attention. But it has the potential to be the most economically beneficial legislation Congress will consider this year.

Put simply, Dodd-Frank has been a complete failure. Signed into law by President Obama almost seven years ago in the wake of the financial crisis, this massive law was supposed to, in his words, "be good for the economy … foster innovation … stop taxpayer bailouts once and for all."
It has lived up to zero of those promises.
