Clintons: The pay to play family!

American Thinker ^ | 05/13/2017 | Jack Hellner

The following story, which ran on Circa, should be extremely important, but I am sure that most of the media will ignore it. It shows that Hillary was willing to ignore ethics laws if people donated to the Clinton Foundation.
From the article:
"While secretary of state, Hillary Clinton made a personal call to pressure Bangladesh's prime minister to aid a donor to her husband's charitable foundation despite federal ethics laws that require government officials to recuse themselves from matters that could impact their spouse's business."
Instead of working for the American people, Hillary also enriched herself and the Foundation by granting access to donors and to people or countries who would pay Bill big money for speeches. There are many stories that show how much access she gave to donors.
Even uranium was available to the Russians for a price.
Throughout their adult lives, the Clintons have enriched themselves through their political power. They did not start businesses or invent anything. They provided access and favors for a price.

The American Left Is Talking Itself Into Violence

The Federalist ^ | 12 May, 2017 | John Daniel Davidson

The recent violence that's marked our college campuses is seeping into the rest of society, and the vast majority of it comes from the intolerant Left.
Something is wrong with the American Left. The recent spate of violent protests on college campuses has been well-documented, but the violence and intolerance championed by left-wing student activists is beginning to creep off campus and into mainstream public life.
The reason for this is straightforward enough: although progressives pride themselves on their putative tolerance and diversity, the imperatives of leftist politics are fundamentally illiberal. Justice imposed through power is the philosophical foundation of the political left, and when earnest progressives become convinced the only avenue to power is violence, their tolerance quickly falls by the wayside. Consider a few recent events, none of which involved college protesters but all of which were marked by threats of violence.
Ahead of a town hall meeting this week in Virginia’s fifth congressional district, Republican Rep. Tom Garrett received a series of disturbing threats—not just against him but also his wife and family, even his dog. One message said bluntly, “This is how we’re going to kill your wife.”
As a result, the town hall event was heavily guarded, with uniformed and plain-clothes security lining the walls and scattered throughout the 300-seat room.

“Civilization has been aptly called a ‘thin crust over a volcano.’ (Liberals) are constantly picking at that crust.” -- Thomas Sowell

Townhall.com ^ | May 13, 2017 | John Hawkins

After Hollywood jackass Jimmy Kimmel was criticized for exploiting his son’s illness to push his political agenda and incorrectly insinuating that surgeries for newborns weren’t covered before Obamacare, he did a follow-up on the subject where he said“I would like to apologize for saying that children in America should have health care. It was insensitive, it was offensive, and I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.”
Drop dead, Jimmy Kimmel, you colossal ass.
This is a great example of what may be the most annoying, dishonest thing that liberals habitually do.
Jimmy Kimmel favors a certain political policy. It’s one that has been a disaster for tens of millions of Americans, including a lot of children.
Jimmy Kimmel could have said, “Obamacare may not be perfect and it may have been sold with a lot of lies, but I believe it’s worth it for everyone else to pay more so the small percentage of the population with pre-existing conditions and no insurance can be covered.” That pitch may not be a political winner, but at least it would be an honest argument.
Instead, Kimmel is essentially arguing that ONLY people who agree with him care about the healthcare of children and the rest of us want children to die.
This sort of rhetoric has become commonplace on the Left and it’s not just dishonest, it’s evil. It’s bad for the country. It could even potentially split the country apart one day because we won’t be able to continue to live with each other. In fact, we’ve already reached the point where California’s threats to secede are being met with cries of “faster please, what can we do to help?” from millions of conservatives.
Yes, it may currently give liberals some small temporary political advantage to claim that everyone who doesn’t support gay marriage hates gays, everyone who doesn’t think rape culture exists supports rape, that everyone who doesn’t back free birth control for women hates them, everyone who wants to stop illegal immigration hates Latinos and that everyone who doesn’t want to tear down Confederate statues hates black Americans, but it also injects pure poison into our culture.
If you believe someone doesn’t want kids to have healthcare, hates gays, hates women, hates minorities and wants more rapes to happen, you will probably detest that person. However, liberals seldom consider that the reverse of this is also true. You will also probably detest people who falsely accuse you of not wanting kids to have healthcare, hating gays, hating women, hating minorities and wanting more rapes to happen. In the Palestinian territories or Syria, there might be significant numbers of people who believe many of those aforementioned beliefs. In America, there are very few. What this means is that there are large numbers of people liberals have inspired hatred towards via falsehoods and also large numbers of people who’ve grown to abhor liberals after being targeted by their lies.
Put another way, liberals are CREATING an America where it’s natural to HATE people of differing political views. Not disagree with, HATE.
My initial reaction to hearing Jimmy Kimmel’s, I would like to apologize for saying that children in America should have health care,” comment was thinking that I’d enjoy punching him in his smug face.I have no doubt that vast numbers of people that liberals dishonestly call racists, misogynists and homophobes feel exactly the same way. Of course, it’s one thing to feel that way and it’s another to actually do it or suggest others do it as many liberals do. We have left-wingers rioting in the streets to stop people they disagree with from speaking at colleges and publicly encouraging each other to physically attack Nazis, while accusing pretty much everyone who doesn’t toe the liberal line of being a Nazi.
We’ve gotten to the point where someone as inoffensive as Betsy DeVos can’t even give a commencement speech at Bethune-Cookman University without gaggles of idiots screaming and booing. If those liberals can’t even show a modicum of courtesy for Betsy DeVos at a commencement speech, how do they work with people they disagree with? How do they go to church with them? How do they date? How do they share the same space? If the answer is, “They can’t do any of those things,” then how do we ultimately share the same country?
I have a left-wing acquaintance who is still endlessly complaining about Hillary Clinton getting coverage from the very liberal mainstream media that was too negative for his taste. When I noted that Hillary may have gotten some harsh coverage at times, but Trump’s coverage was much worse, I was told in so many words that, “Yes, but Trump deserved it.” Similarly, have you noticed that liberals don’t seem to accept and respect the fact that conservatives found Obama just as loathsome as they find Trump?
It’s the liberal mentality that says, “People who disagree with us on anything are racist, sexist, homophobic and evil. Therefore, we don’t have to treat them fairly. Therefore, their concerns are irrelevant. Therefore, it’s acceptable to lie about them, take away their rights or even use the IRS or legal system to mistreat them. Therefore, they don’t matter. At all.”
I loathe liberalism, but I don’t hate liberals. I would not be okay with lying about them, preventing them from speaking at universities or attacking them because of their political views. I think a lot of liberals are deeply misguided and put their emotions above logic and the good of the country, but I don’t think most of them are evil. Unfortunately, many liberals don’t afford conservatives that same courtesy and one day, that may split the country because what brings us together as a nation is becoming smaller than the liberal hatred that is dividing us.

Donald Trump Jr. DESTROYS Protester at Rally for Greg Gianforte in Montana!

thegatewaypundit ^ | Jim Hoft

The crowd started booing before Donald Trump Jr. DESTROYED him!
Protester: What about your dad’s taxes? I want to see his taxes!

Donald Jr.: Oh, I don’t know. I think Rachel Maddow released something that showed he made $150 million bucks and paid $45 million in taxes. I think the ones that were released showed he paid a much higher percentage in tax than Bernie Sanders and Barack Obama. And made a lot of money in the process. So guess what? You can do it all! You can be successful. You can pay your taxes. And I think that’s what he did. So I really appreciate it. Thank you for the intro to that because I wouldn’t have gone there. (Massive Applause)

The crowd LOVED IT!

Judicial Watch Congratulates President Trump For Firing James Comey!

Investmentwatchblog.com Blog ^ | Pamela Williams

The highly respected legal organization, JUDICIAL WATCH, has given a statement as to their opinion on James Comey’s firing by President Trump.

Tom Fitton, who heads JUDICIAL WATCH, tweeted the following to President Trump:

@TomFitton .@realDonaldTrump held Comey accountable for lawlessness while the DC Establishment looked the other way. Good. Good. Good. 7:43 AM - 10 May 2017 @realDonaldTrump held Comey accountable for lawlessness while the DC Establishment looked the other way. Good. Good. Good.

The following is from Tom Fitton’s blog: http://www.judicialwatch.org/press-room/weekly-updates/weekly-update-trump-right-comey-firing/
Emails Reveal More Instances of Clinton Using Unsecure Email Server for Classified Info
In a surprise but needed move, President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey. Judicial Watch reacted immediately with a statement of support for President Trump’s move:
“This is an important move to restore public confidence in the fair administration of justice at the federal level. Mr. Comey did not seem to understand some of the laws he was asked to enforce and unfortunately politicized his sensitive position as the FBI director. President Trump took the right step in cleaning house at the FBI.”
Last week I was interviewed by host Alex Marlow on Breitbart News Daily, and we discussed FBI Director James Comey in some depth. Here are some of my remarks.
“Comey has repeatedly and improperly protected Hillary Clinton and her top people from the consequences of their criminal behavior by coloring the law, misstating the law, and focusing on everything but the elephant in the living room: Why didn’t he prosecute her? Why was immunity granted to all of these individuals? Why is it he said that he needed to prove intent, when in fact all they really needed was gross negligence, which was proven beyond the shadow of a reasonable doubt, and he probably had the intent there anyway?”

Man climbing out of car shoots himself in the penis!

Autoblog ^ | 5/9/17 | na

A man in Toledo, Ohio, learned a lesson in handgun safety over the weekend when his weapon discharged while he was climbing out of his car, shooting him in the penis.

WTOL-TV reports that police responded to a call after someone heard Murad Hamedallah screaming that he had been shot. They found him on the ground outside the car near a trash can, and they found a bullet hole in the driver's seat of his car. Paramedics found matching holes in his penis and thigh.

10 Things You Need More Than A Husband

Bolde ^ | Averi Clements

Society places such high importance on getting married that it’s easy to feel almost like a failure if you never manage to find a man to settle down with. While it’s fantastic if you do eventually find a guy you’d like to marry, it’s really no big deal if you never end up getting hitched as long as you have these things:

1. A solid group of friends It doesn’t matter whether your social circle is big or small — what DOES matter is the quality of the people in it. Even the most independent people need at least one or two friends they know they can count on during both the good times and the bad. If you’re surrounded by awesome people, your marital status will be virtually irrelevant.
2. A career you love Life is too short to spend hours and hours of every day being miserable. Money is important, sure, but if you hate everything about your job, you’re not going to feel fulfilled. As long as you have a job that makes you look forward to coming to work for some reason — whether it’s your clients, your coworkers, the work itself, or all of the above — you’re not going to need a husband to make your life feel worthwhile.
3. Hobbies you’re passionate about Even if you love everything about your job, make sure you’re also doing something else purely for the joy of it. Everyone needs a break from life sometimes, and having some kind of a hobby, such as kickboxing or crafting, can really add sparkle to your daily routine and keep your brain feeling happy. Having things you enjoy doing is far more important than whether or not you ever walk down the aisle.
4. Self-reliance Lots of things are way easier when you have someone else around, but there’s nothing quite as empowering as knowing you can make it on your own. Self-reliance is learned over time, but once you have it down, you’ll never be able to go back to depending on another person. Whether or not you end up in a relationship again, your ability to stand on your own two feet will serve you well for the rest of your life.
5. Economic independence Being able to split bills is awesome no matter how filthy rich you are. However, there’s a strong sense of satisfaction that comes with knowing that you can pay for everything you do and own without anyone else’s assistance. Being able to rely on your own income to survive is a crucial life skill, and if you can get that down, it won’t even be an issue if your hypothetical husband doesn’t contribute enough to the bills.
6. A strong sense of self-worth When you know exactly what you deserve, you’re never going to have to settle for anything. It takes a lot of time and effort to realize just how much you should value yourself, but if you don’t try to get there, you’re going to wake up one day and realize you’ve wasted a lot of time and energy on the wrong people and things. Gaining a sense of self-worth will ensure that in both life and love, you’re getting exactly what you should be.
7. Something that motivates you Having something that pushes you to keep striving for more is crucial if you want to live your best life. If you can figure out an area you’d like to improve in, whether it’s at work, the gym, or in your social life, dig deep and figure out WHY you want to get better, and never let that thought escape. Motivation can be tough to find, but getting a hold of it will keep you moving forward so you don’t get stuck in the same place.
8. A manageable self-care routine You don’t have to be a gym rat or live off of green smoothies in order to take care of yourself. You only get one body, though, and you owe it to yourself to not only create a lifestyle that helps it function at its best, but also one that you can maintain. If you can keep up the health junkie lifestyle every day of your life, awesome! But if you can only hit the gym twice a week and have a weakness for cheese curls, don’t beat yourself up over it. Just make sure you’re achieving both what makes you healthy and what makes you happy.
9. A sense of happiness that doesn’t depend on your relationship status Some of us love being in relationships, and some could live the single life forever. It’s one thing to acknowledge that the presence or absence of romance in your life makes you happier, but it becomes a problem when your entire emotional state depends on whether or not you have a partner. When you’re able to find a variety of internal and external sources of satisfaction, even something as major as being married will just add to that joy rather than creating all of it.
10. True love (for yourself) The last thing you want to do is get married just because you feel like you’re lacking love in your life. The truest kind of love that exists is the kind we should have for ourselves regardless of whether or not we’re getting it from someone else. If you can love yourself for who you are both inside and out, the love you’d get from a spouse would just be the cherry on top.

If Liberals Hate Him, Then Trump Must Be Doing Something Right

The New York Times Sunday Review ^ | May 12, 2017 | Charles J. Sykes

If there was one principle that used to unite conservatives, it was respect for the rule of law. Not long ago, conservatives would have been horrified at wholesale violations of the norms and traditions of our political system, and would have been appalled by a president who showed overt contempt for the separation of powers.

But this week, as if on cue, most of the conservative media fell into line, celebrating President Trump’s abrupt dismissal of the F.B.I. director, James Comey, and dismissing the fact that Mr. Comey was leading an investigation into the Trump campaign and its ties to Russia. “Dems in Meltdown Over Comey Firing,” declared a headline on Fox News, as Tucker Carlson gleefully replayed clips of Democrats denouncing the move. “It’s just insane actually,” he said, referring to their reactions. On Fox and talk radio, the message was the same, with only a few conservatives willing to sound a discordant or even cautious note.
The talk-show host Rush Limbaugh was positively giddy, opening his monologue on Wednesday by praising Mr. Trump for what he called his “epic trolling” of liberals. “This is great,” Mr. Limbaugh declared. “Can we agree that Donald Trump is probably enjoying this more than anybody wants to admit or that anybody knows? So he fires Comey yesterday. Who’s he meet with today? He’s meeting with the Soviet, the Russian foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov! I mean, what an epic troll this is.”
Given the enthusiasm of the president’s apologists, it is likely that much of Mr. Trump’s base will similarly rally to him as it has in the past....
