Stand Strong Against the Lunacy of the Left

American Thinker ^ | March 27, 2017 | Trevor Thomas

Virtually every crazy policy, corrupt courtroom ruling, or depraved piece of legislation that plagues our political climate is a product of modern liberalism. Whether killing children in the wombkilling small businesseslegally redefining the oldest institution in the history of humanity, legalizing and promoting a wide variety of sexual immoralities, criminalizing (or attempting to criminalize) the life-blood of American industrycriminalizing Christianity, stealing money from one group of constituents to buy votes from another, and so on, liberals and their lackeys in the Democratic Party, the mainstream media, and academia have used their political, information, and entertainment powers in manners most perverse.
Spurred on by virtually no real evidence, and because they have made a god of government (and thus, are almost completely incapable of handling political defeat), liberal pundits across the U.S. have spilled gallons of ink desperately attempting to blame Hillary Clinton’s loss to Donald Trump on some nefarious conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russians. Because they are devoted to the “theology of self,” fragile campus snowflakes across America are suppressing -- violently in some cases -- any form of speech (political, religious, et al) that they find “offensive.”
As such things come to pass, the violence, riots, “nastiness,” and vile speech we’ve already witnessed will pale in comparison to what will come. We should expect nothing less from a movement that has abandoned virtually every measure of sound science and morality. So take heed, Washington Republicans: be ready for attacks, protests, filibusters, lies, smears, irrational arguments, and dirty tricks of virtually every form imaginable.

Gov. Moonbeam: Trump Building Wall to Trap Californians in America

Frontpagemagazine ^ | March 27, 2017 | Daniel Greenfield

There are no words for this rambling Meet the Press interview with Governor Moonbeam. Well there are words. But throwing up your hands is just easier.
Here's Governor Brown on President Trump's proposed border wall.
The wall, to me, is ominous. It reminds me too much of the Berlin Wall. When I see that 30-foot wall, I worry somehow, "Are they trying to keep me in, or keep them out?"
I really think people ought to be careful because there's a lot of odor here of kind of a strongman, kind of a world where you want the ultimate leader here to be doing all this stuff. And having a wall locking the people in is one of those characteristics. I think Americans ought to be very careful when we make radical changes like a 30-foot wall keeping some in and some out.
I know California has some issues, but is Brown really under the impression that the wall is meant to keep out Californians fleeing to Mexico?

We're not going to sit around and just play patsy and say, "Hey, go ahead. Lock us in. Do whatever the hell you want. Export-- deport 2 billion, 2 million people." No, we're going to fight, and we're going to fight very hard.
Lock us in? Is Jerry Brown still insisting that the wall will keep him from finding freedom in Mexico? Please, go. No one will stop you. Or miss you.
And we'll do the right human, and I would even say Christian thing, from my point of view. You don't treat human beings like that. That is not what-- I mean, Trump's supposed to be Mr. Religious Fellow, and I thought we've got to treat "the least of these" as we would treat the Lord. So I hope he would reconnect with some of these conservative evangelicals, and they'll tell him that these are human beings, they're children of God.
Speaking of children of God, perhaps Jerry will discuss his role in the abduction and eventual murder of California children by Jim Jones, his political ally. Jones was quite influential in Dem circles and Dems, including Harvey Milk, worked hard to protect his abuses until it was too late.

AG Sessions says he’ll punish sanctuaries, cities could lose billions of dollars! ^ | 3/27/17 | Stephen Dinan and Dave Boyer

Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Monday he’ll begin punishing sanctuary cities, withholding potentially billions of dollars in federal money — and even clawing back funds that had been doled out in the past.

Speaking at the White House, Mr. Sessions said his department is preparing to dole out more than $4 billion in funds this year, but will try prevent any of it from going to sanctuaries.

“Countless Americans would be alive today … if these policies of sanctuary cities were ended,” Mr. Sessions said.

He said he’s carrying out a policy laid out by the Obama administration last year, which identified three grant programs — the COPS grants, Byrne grants and State Criminal Alien Assistance Program money — that already require sanctuary certification.

Politically correct to the level of silly

Sierra Vista Herald ^ | Elizabeth Cowan

We stumbled across a snarky quotation by an unknown genius that sums up the sensitive, the weird and the technologically coddled among us.
“Have you ever listened to someone for a while and wondered… ‘who ties your shoelaces for you?’”

That was a valid question for a bygone time. But today, the answer may explain a lot about the direction of the intellectually challenged among us. Most people wear slip-on shoes, be they loafers, flip-flops, sandals, or women’s footwear. The exception may be athletes who still wear lace-up athletic shoes. Are they compelled to take a retro class in shoelace-tying in high school or college?

A few of the major achievements of childhood were learning to tie your shoes, how to tell time and potty training. The folks who create products we should not live without, created velcro shoes. Voila! No more frustrated fumbling with pesky shoelaces, which explains the need for remedial shoe tieing classes.
Walk down any alley or the hallways of older apartment buildings, and you will discover that some folks never mastered potty training 101. Just like the birds of the air and the animals in the forest, when nature calls, they leave their dribbles and droppings anywhere.
Telling time has almost gone the way of the Dodo as well. Children no longer learn to look at a clock with numbers to know what time it is. Now we have digital everything, including clocks. In fact, most Millenials and those who lean toward convenience (also known as laziness) do not own or wear watches. The reasoning is everyone has cellular phones, and nearly everything has a built-in digital clock. If you doubt this, just look around and count the number of digital clocks on everything, including the ovens and stoves.
Mind you, there is nothing wrong with progress and gadgets, but just in case the world is zapped by an Electromagnetic Pulse or two, it would be nice if some folks still remembered the basics. The question is, if the EMP hits, can you cook a meal without a microwave? Even without such a catastrophic event, without a microwave folks would have to live on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
Aside from catastrophic events, the world, or at least a large portion of the planet’s population, has reached the point of stagnation. One major cause is the politically correct edicts of old biddies or old farts in politics and other self-appointed or elected dictatorships, who look around one day and ask, “How can I cause the most mischief?”
Thanks to them and folks like them, we exist rather than live. Folks are afraid to do or say anything because someone is sure to be offended or have their itty bitty feelings hurt. Writers have discovered this PC plague has infected a formerly useful grammar software. The company promises to eliminate grammatical errors, such as spelling, punctuation, style and even offers plagiarism detection.
What they fail to divulge is that they, too, have been infected by the PC plague.
If a writer says certain medications can cause birth defects in babies, the red circle of death appears on your computer screen with a warning. “birth defects (possible disability-biased language. Use congenital disabilities).
The problem is, if you look up the meaning of congenital, hereditary and genetic pops up. Either word means a certain characteristic or a disease passed from the genes of a parent to a child. Since the parent does not have the disability caused by the medication, does this make the pill the mother of the child?
According to the medical definition of congenital, it means a condition that is present at birth, whether or not it is inherited. We are indulging in a bit of nitpicking, but if you pay for a service one expects it to be error and politics free, for the most part.
Makes you wonder about the folks who promulgate “facts.” So we again ask. Who did teach the programming folks and other buttinskis how to tie their shoelaces?

Mexicans Who Help Build Donald Trump’s Wall Are ‘Traitors,’ Top Archdiocese Says!

The Huffington Post ^ | March 26, 2017 | Reuters

Mexicans who help build President Donald Trump’s planned border wall would be acting immorally and should be deemed traitors, the Catholic Archdiocese of Mexico said on Sunday, turning up the heat on a simmering dispute over the project.

In a provocative editorial, the country’s biggest Archdiocese sought to increase pressure on the government to take a tougher line on companies aiming to profit from the wall, which has strained relations between Trump and the Mexican government.

“Any company intending to invest in the wall of the fanatic Trump would be immoral, but above all, its shareholders and owners should be considered traitors to the homeland,” said the editorial in Desde la fe, the Archdiocese’s weekly publication....

Female Trump Supporters Blame Congress, NOT Trump, for Health Care Debacle ^ | Mar 27th, 2017

According to Sorock Research Group’s recent numbers female Trump supporters blame Congress for sabotaging the Obamacare repeal bill and not President Trump:

The week ending March 24, 2017, saw the second-greatest drop in satisfaction with Congress among high-intensity female Trump supporters since the president took office, a drop of 12 percentage points to 2.80 on a 7-point scale. In contrast, satisfaction with President Trump remained steady at 6.79, a slight improvement from the previous week.
“Women are of two minds about the AHCA – they don’t love the content of the bill, but they appreciate Trump working with Congress and refusing to back down on his priorities,” said Anne Segal, a director of the study. “If President Trump wants to keep his female supporters’ continued support he’ll communicate that he will continue to fight for full repeal of Obamacare while showing he supports AHCA in the meantime because of his commitment to fulfilling election promises.”
Apparently the women don’t like the continued presence of FBI Director Comey and other like him; the study showed they view these remnants as “Deep States snakes,” who have to go.
