Dear QUEER Hollywood: Actually, Your Portrayal of Lesbians is a Lie…

Dear Hollywood leftists trying to make everyone think that all lesbians are beautiful, Stop lying. Most lesbians are not what you make them out to be. Beautiful, well-adjusted models in relationships with other beautiful well-adjusted models happens only on screen. Why dance around the topic with big fancy words or a long disclaimer lead in when I can come right out of my not gay closet and say the obvious? Bluntness: for more than just the lesbian hairdo.

As mentioned in my earlier column, there’s a move in Hollywood to gay all the things. Hashtag campaigns have erected all over the Twitterverse, like #GiveCaptainAmericaABoyfriend, while earlier there was a move to make Elsa of Disney’s Frozen a lesbian. Probably not because she wears a dress so much as she’s an ice queen. Just a guess.
With the LGBT community accounting for 3 percent of the population, but 14 percent of characters in film and TV, those of us with eyes and basic deductive reasoning skills know you’re pushing an agenda. That is yay for gay, don’t fear the queer, never nag the…

Look if you’re going to gay all the things, there’s nothing I can do to stop you. If you want to make a movie where it’s taboo to be straight… it’ll be a box office bomb, but it’s your right to make the film. It is, after all, still a free-ish country. Hollywood is a business. Make as much gay as you want, I’ll just vote with my dollar and very likely not watch the gayness. Which means my Kindle will be getting plenty of exercise.
