Trollmaster Trump Is Driving Liberals to New Heights of Fussy Fury ^ | December 1, 2016 | Kurt Schlichter

Trolling is a true pleasure to watch when a master is at work, and no one – no one – trolls like the man Instapundit’s Glenn Reynolds has dubbed the “Grandmaster,” our President-elect Donald Trump. Hell, even his title is a troll. President-elect Donald Trump – just having to say it makes pointy progressive heads explode.
But look on the bright side, suckers. This time come January, you won’t have to call him “President-elect” anymore. Because then it will be President Donald Trump.
Cue the giant sad trombone.
Look, I had some serious beefs with Trump during the primaries, and I committed to vote for him only because the choice was either him or Harpy O’Smarmalot, and I couldn’t listen to that shrill harridan yapping at me for four years while she turned America into Venezuela North. But I have to hand it to The Donald. He’s doing great so far, and it’s just killing the liberals. Which makes it even greater.
Trump is trolling them with competence.
Transition chaos? Oh please. The new crew is functioning remarkably well, despite the media spazzathon. And it’s always fun to get an organizational critique from the apoplectic liberal media whineatariat, whose sole organizational experience consists of gathering up the usual scruff-bearded femboys and scruff-bearded womyn and marching over to the dean’s office to demand that the campus wrestling team stop liking girls.
Jeff Sessions? Great choice – honest, smart, and he has the DOJ experience to know where the shredders are shredding. The leftists aren’t upset because he doesn’t know how to be a great AG; they are terrified because he does.
Gee, how does the lefty media react? Surprise: “RACIST!” They know it’s a damn lie, but they think people are still stupid enough to believe it. So this pick is itself another troll – this one reinforcing that the media is a pack of lying weasels. Right about now, no one would actually believe a media racism accusation unless the accused showed up in a white robe carrying a dog-eared copy of “The Collected Racial Musings of Kleagle/Democrat Senate Majority Leader Robert Byrd.”
And his other picks? Awesome! So Betsy De Vos is supposed to be awful because she’s going to insist that public schools actually teach all our kids, not just the ones in liberal enclaves? Because she’s going to insist on due process for college students busted for studying while male? Because her brother formed a company that shoots terrorists? Blackwater founder and American hero Erik Prince mixed capitalism with killing jihadis, which makes liberals cry. It makes me want a Marlboro and a cuddle.
Trump is trolling them by keeping his promises.
“Oh, he’s not really going to repeal and replace Obamacare!” Hey suckers, if you like your fantasies you can keep them, but Donald Trump is a developer. If he didn’t build what he said he was going to build, his customers didn’t take occupancy, and he didn’t get paid. Well, Americans are his customers now, and he knows instinctively that the key to his success as POTUS 45 is him performing. Hillary’s whole campaign was based on a wink and a nod to her supporters that she may talk like Sanders about Wall Street and the wars, but when she got in there she would put the fun in “hedge fund” and bomb any foreigner not appearing as “Paid in Full” on the Clinton Foundation’s “Totally Voluntary, No Obligation, Purely From the Goodness of Your Heart or Else Donor List.”
“Oh, he’s not really going to build a wall!” Dude, he’s totally building a wall. And you’ll see him down by the border, flipping off Tijuana then digging the first shovelful of dirt.
“Oh, he’s not really going to change the lobbyist culture.” Dude, he’s already doing it. He doesn’t owe these clowns anything. Hell, they were all against him. Get ready to experience the smash hit “50 Shades of Your Georgetown Property Values Tanking.”
And Trump is trolling the liberals by tweeting.
Kellyanne Conway is never going to take away his iPhone, never. Why? Because he is a master of using it to set the agenda for the liberals and their pet media and then watching them dance for his amusement. Take his flag burning tweet. Pure genius.
Oh, not the substance – that was a terrible and clearly unconstitutional idea. But it is also a popular idea. A number of people I greatly respect support flag burning laws, and so does Hillary Clinton. Remember how she co-sponsored some silly Flag Protection Act in 2005? You remember 2005, don’t you? It was when Senator Principle was just turning against the troops she had voted to send to Iraq and when she still believed marriage was between a man and a woman. You know, the opposite of Trump’s positions.
Trump has to be rolling with laughter to seeing liberals maneuvered into awkwardly defending free speech, since they despise the concept. My new novel shows a world where liberals control the conversation, and the result is a monologue. Guess who gets to do all the talking? Hint: not us.
But who needs fiction when we have the last few months showing us what liberals really think about free speech. A key plank in the Democratic platform was to amend the Constitution to make it possible to throw people in jail for criticizing politicians. Liberal university adminofacists censor speakers and persecute dissident students. Just a few days ago, most key liberals could barely contain their griefgasm at the descent into hell of their most beloved role model, noted dissentaphobe Fidel Castro – beloved mostly for his silencing of his opponents. And this was after a year when anybody criticizing scumbag Democratic surrogates for rioting was labeled an irredeemable deplorable who ought to shut up. One half-wit even applauded the idea of Trump being banned from speaking on Twitter in the interest of – wait for it – free speech. Seems someone rode his old-timey bike down to the San Francisco farmer’s market and loaded up on some locally sourced irony.
Yet, because of Trump’s cunning ploy, the liberals went out to a dubious America and effectively announced that if you ignite Old Glory they consider you America’s greatest hero. The thing is that Trump understands that most Americans approve of flag burning laws, because most Americans aren’t either Constitutional conservative purists like me, or bubble-dwelling progressive jerks who hate America and actually love the idea of burning the flag. So basically, Trump got these rodents to squeak about how it’s A-OK for their fellow travelers to diss the symbol of the Glorious Dead after normalizing the idea that those who disagree with you should be gagged. Smooth move, dummies. How do you like the new rules now?
Trump is one giant troll of liberalism, from his attitude to his actions to his total defeat of the Evil Schoolmarm. And the best thing is that he knows it. Never change, Mr. President-elect – keep on trolling like a boss.

Mainstream Media’s Weapons of Mass Deception

The Coach's Team ^ | 12/1/16 | Mike Dempsey

Terrorism comes in many forms. When terrorism is mentioned our first thought is radical Islamic terrorists, but we have home grown domestic terrorism in several forms in the U.S. today.
Environmental terrorism has stopped the flow of water to the San Joaquin Valley in CA, to the destruction of jobs, farms and food production.
Race baiters have learned how to terrorize cities and shakedown corporations for large sums of money.
The moving target of gender identity has implemented the economic shakedown of small businesses, fueled by blatant intolerance for diversity of thought or religious conviction. This brand of economic terrorism has disguised itself as the victim, destroying businesses and eliminating the previously protected First Amendment freedom of conscience for the American business owner.
Abortion proponents have condoned institutionalized murder for decades as they terrorize innocent victims who have no choice to live.
The Left has hijacked higher education and terrorized our generation with political correctness, altered history and bogus scientific data, each contributing to the demise of truth and common sense.
The common ally in all these forms of homegrown terrorism is…the national mainstream media (CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS, MSNBC, NY Times, Washington Post and sometimes FOX News). They often use innuendo, half-truths and the sword of political correctness to butcher truth and promote the many forms of domestic terrorism.
“Do not fear the enemy, for your enemy can only take your life. It is far better that you fear the media, for they will steal your honor. That awful power, the public opinion of a nation, is created in America by a horde of ignorant, self-complacent simpletons…” -Mark Twain (1835-1910)
Apparently the press was not highly regarded even a century ago. Unfortunately, the horde has...

Tired Dem Donors Feel Like Their Money Got Burned ^ | 12/01/16

Democratic donors stung by Hillary Clinton’s upset loss in the presidential race feel like they just set their money on fire.

The sore feelings are a huge problem for the Democratic National Committee (DNC), which is trying to rebuild its image and reinvigorate a defeated party in time for challenging midterm elections in 2018.

It’s also a worry for top liberal activists as they prepare for war with President-elect Donald Trump and a GOP Congress that is hell-bent on rolling back President Obama’s accomplishments.

Many Democratic donors still feel burned by the party’s 2016 election losses and what they see as dysfunction in the DNC, which will elect a new leader in February.

Adding insult to the injury: The names of many donors were released in the WikiLeaks hack of Democratic emails, believed to have come at the hands of Russian intelligence. It was a mortifying development that has rattled some of the party’s big-money men and women.

The Trump that baffles pundits

American Thinker ^ | 1 Dec 2016 | Thomas Lifson

Some really smart people absolutely cannot grasp what Donald Trump is up to. Perhaps it is that his business background has taught him lessons that punditry, or any profession that depends on well-crafted use of abstract symbols like words and numbers, cannot teach.
Perhaps it is because he seems vulgar in the eyes of many people who pride themselves on their sophistication and intelligence.
Whatever the cause we are hearing that Trump is “irrational” and making it up as he goes along with no plan, just “improv” -- in the words of highly intelligent writers I have long respected.
If you don’t see a pattern to the actions of a highly successful person, I suggest you consider the possibility that your framework is too limited.
Donald Trump is conducting his transition and will conduct his presidency in part as a reality television show, dramas that he concocts and executes. Among the many disciplines that he mastered in the course of his career, reality show TV producer and host is among the more recent, and for politics the most valuable.
That tweet he sent about flag burning was deliberate bait, as Charles Krauhammer, Ann Althouse and Jazz Shaw, among others, recognized. And Trump got images that will only drive support his way and identify Trump hatred with crazy leftists: “Revolution Nothing Less!”
Or take the saga of saving the Carrier jobs. The man is delivering on a campaign promise before he even takes office. He is traveling to Indianapolis today and will get more great visuals. I agree with S.R. Lenzkes on these pages today that this is somewhat dangerous, and could lead to bad things. But this is one case, and is serving a good function.

NASA Drops Global Warming BOMBSHELL, Liberals In Panic Mode As Scam Exposed

Conservative Daily Pose ^ | Nov 29, 2016 | Damon Morgan

The debate on Man-made Climate Change, aka Anthropogenic Global Warming, has been raging for a couple decades now.

The establishment media has told us repeatedly in recent years that there is consensus among 97% of climate scientists that global warming is real, and that it is caused by human activity. For many people, this appeal to authority has been convincing, and they lash out at any opposition calling them ‘climate-deniers’ or worse.

Recent data has emerged that casts major doubt on the general consensus. So how could 97% of the world’s climate experts get something like this wrong?

Most people assume that the scientific community acts purely in a non-biased way, using methods that have been standardized across the board. So much faith has been put into establishment science, especially by the left, that to question any of the findings is akin to heresy.

New Findings Are Major Setback for Global Warming Hucksters

How Saudi Arabia dangerously undermines the United States ^ | April 16, 2016 | Ralph Peters

Saudi Arabia is our enduring internal enemy, already within our borders and permitted to poison American Muslims with its Wahhabi cult.
Oh, and Saudi Arabia’s also the spring from which the bloody waters of global jihad flowed.
Iran humiliates our sailors, but the Saudis are the spiritual jailers of hundreds of millions of Muslims, committed to intolerance, barbarity and preventing Muslims from joining the modern world. And we help.
Firm figures are elusive, but estimates are that the Saudis fund up to 80% of American mosques, at least in part. And their goal is the same here as it is elsewhere in the world where Islam must compete with other religions: to prevent Muslims from integrating into the host society.
The Saudis love having Muslims in America, since that stakes Islam’s claim, but it doesn’t want Muslims to become Americans and stray from the hate-riddled cult they’ve imposed upon a great religion.
On Kenya’s old Swahili Coast, once the domain of Muslim slavers preying on black Africans, I visited a wretched Muslim slum where children, rather than learning useful skills in a state school, sat amid filth memorizing the Koran in a language they could not understand. According to locals, their parents had been bribed to take their children out of the state schools and put them in madrassas.
Naturally, educated Christians from the interior get the good jobs down on the coast. The Muslims rage at the injustice. The Christians reply, “You can’t all be mullahs — learn something!” And behold: The Saudi mission’s accomplished, the society divided.

Professionals in These Two Asian Cities Say Donald Trump Will Be Good for Business

Fortune ^ | November 30, 2016

More than half of all business professionals in two financial hubs in Asia are viewing the results of the U.S. election in a positive light, according to a survey conducted two weeks after Donald Trump emerged as the victor.
The survey, conducted in the financial districts of Hong Kong and Shanghai by deVere Group, an international financial consultancy, found that 55% of the over 650 people interviewed for the study think that a Trump presidency will be positive for the global economy.
Even so, over two thirds of those interviewed were surprised by the result of the election, with 32% saying they were not surprised that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would lose out to the businessman....

Man 'cured' of prostate cancer after doctors shock tumour to death with testosterone! ^ | 30 NOVEMBER 2016 | Sarah Knapton

A man with advanced prostate cancer is believed to be cured after doctors 'shocked' his tumour to death with huge amounts of testosterone.

The result has been described as 'unexpected' and 'exciting' because most prostate cancer therapies work by depriving tumours of testosterone, because cancer uses it as a fuel.

"The trial involved three cycles of "bipolar androgen therapy" (BAT) which involves alternately flooding and starving the body of the male hormone testosterone."
Basically, every 28 days the men receive a high dose of testosterone, while at the same time, they get a drug which stops testosterone being produced naturally in the testicles.
Any cancer which can be cured is exciting news.

Why is the left lauding Fidel?

American Thinker ^ | 30 Nov, 2016 | George Marcina

Fidel is dead. Finally. This is really not news, as in reality he's been dead for some time now. What's news is how many people who should know better write about him as if this murderer, this tyrant was some kind of a hero. Why?
Do they see boats full of people from other Caribbean islands rushing to freedom, toward a better and more fulfilling life? Do they see planeloads of Venezuelans, Bolivians, and others rushing to Havana to learn how to do revolution, how to straighten up their faltering revolutions, how to, finally, do it right?
Are Cubans, after fifty-plus years of his rule and thousands of dead and full prisons, so clearly better off than people in the rest of the Caribbean? Are Cubans from Miami, tired of living in the corrupt, egoistic, greedy, and racist America, rushing back home? Do the Russians look at the billions spent to keep Castro in power as an example of how to invest successfully? Are the Venezuelans celebrating the returns on their Cuban investments?
So what did he and his revolution really accomplish? How different is Cuba of Castro from Cuba of Fulgencio Batista?
Batista's gang was replaced by the Castros and their gang. Batista secret service was replaced by Fidel's thugs. Rich landowners were replaced by party apparatchiks. American tourists were replaced by Russians and East Germans – for a while. Now even they don't come.
Can anyone point out any accomplishment worthy of all the blood spilled, thousands jailed and exiled, all the stolen property? .......
And Cuba isn't alone. What is the difference between the Russia of today and the Russia of the tsars? Today's tsar is not a Romanov, but Putin.

It’s Time for Honest Talk about Muslim Immigration

National REview ^ | November 30, 2016 | David French

It’s Time for Honest Talk about Muslim Immigration!

Some immigrants from jihad zones will be involved in murdering Americans. Is this an acceptable price for compassion?

At 9:52 a.m. on Monday morning, a silver Honda jumped a curb at Ohio State University and plowed directly into a crowd of students, sending bodies flying through the air. As students rushed to help, a young Somali immigrant, Abdul Razak Ali Ratan, got out of the car and began attacking horrified students with a butcher knife. All told, eleven people were wounded before a university police officer shot and killed Ratan, ending the attack.

Ratan is the third Muslim immigrant to mount a mass stabbing attack in 2016. The first occurred at an Israeli-owned deli in Columbus, Ohio, the second at a mall in Saint Cloud, Minn., and the third Monday at Ohio State. The attacks together wounded 25 people. The latest stabbing comes on the heels of Afghan immigrant Ahman Khan Rahami’s September bomb attacks in New York and New Jersey that left 29 injured.

The toll continues. Muslim immigrants Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev killed five Americans and wounded 280 in the Boston Marathon bombing and subsequent shootouts. Muslim immigrant Muhammad Abdulazeez killed five men and wounded two in attacks on military recruiting stations in Chattanooga, Tenn. Muslim immigrant Tashfeen Malik accompanied her first-generation Muslim-American husband to attack a Christmas party in San Bernardino, Calif., killing 14 and wounding 22. First generation Muslim-American Omar Mateen — son of Afghan immigrants — carried out the deadliest domestic terror attack since 9/11, killing 49 and wounding 53 at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub.

And if you think these are the only terrorist immigrants — or terrorist children of immigrants — you’re sadly mistaken. The Heritage Foundation has maintained a comprehensive database of terror plots since 9/11, a database that includes foiled attacks. The number of Muslim immigrants involved is truly sobering. For every successful attack, there are multiple unsuccessful plots, including attacks that could have cost hundreds of American lives.

After all these incidents, can we finally have an honest conversation about Muslim immigration — especially Muslim immigration from jihadist conflict zones?

RELATED: It’s Time We Faced the Facts about the Muslim World

When we survey the American experience since 9/11, two undeniable truths emerge, and it’s past time that we grapple head-on with them. First, the vast majority of Muslim immigrants — no matter their country of origin — are not terrorists. They won’t attack anyone, they won’t participate in terrorist plots, and they abhor terrorism. Some even provide invaluable information in the fight against jihad. That’s the good news.

The bad news is the second truth: Some Muslim immigrants (or their children) will either attempt to commit mass murder or will actually succeed in killing and wounding Americans by the dozens. All groups of immigrants contain some number of criminals. But not all groups of immigrants contain meaningful numbers of terrorists. This one does. It’s simply a fact.

Moreover, there isn’t an even geographic distribution of terrorists. We don’t have as many terrorist immigrants from Indonesia, India, or Malaysia as we do from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Somalia, or from the conflict zones in the Middle East. It’s much less risky to bring into the country a cardiologist from Jakarta than a refugee from Kandahar.

If the Democrats wish to maintain immigration from jihadist conflict zones, they need to rid their rhetoric of the language of “Islamophobia” and tell the truth. If they want to continue admitting refugees from jihad zones, they need to make the case that meeting the humanitarian needs of an an extremely small fraction of the world’s Muslim refugees is worth the cost of importing a small number of mass murderers. They must make the case that the human toll in America is the price we must pay for national compassion. Of course no Democrat wants a terror attack to occur, but Democrats must understand and acknowledge that under present policies, such attacks will occur — despite our best efforts to stop them.

But I’d submit that America can show compassion without opening its borders to an uncertain number of jihadist killers. We can maintain and expand existing safe zones in the Middle East. We can project power to continue to roll back ISIS and provide space for people to return to their homes. We can implement new tests for immigrants and restrict immigration from volatile regions. At the same time, we can avoid paranoia and appreciate the peacefulness and patriotism of the vast majority of our existing Muslim population.

The Trump administration has an opportunity to implement a rational policy — one that rewards friends, preserves Muslim homes in the Middle East, and protects our borders far more effectively than did the Obama administration. In the 15 years of American engagement since 9/11, we have worked with a host of interpreters, allied soldiers, and sympathetic officials — many of whom have endured enormous risks to fight jihad. We should welcome these people with open arms. Muslim immigrants from outside jihadist conflict zones should be welcome as well, provided that they do not profess allegiance to the ideology of our enemies.

RELATED: No, We Are Not ‘Doing Everything We Can’

During the Cold War, American law denied entry to the United States to any alien who wrote, published, or advocated “the economic, international, and governmental doctrines of world communism or the establishment in the United States of a totalitarian dictatorship.” We continue to maintain an escalating series of ideological litmus tests for visa recipients and green-card holders. We can and should expand those tests to deny entry to any visitor or immigrant who advocates the doctrines or ideas of ISIS, al-Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Taliban, and any other recognized terrorist organization — including by expressing support on social media for the goals, theology, politics, or leadership of those organizations. Indeed, the list should expand beyond known terrorists so that we’d exclude those who support the doctrines or ideas of the Muslim Brotherhood or the Iranian Revolution.

Beyond this basic test, it is simply not in America’s national interest to admit refugees, visitors, or other immigrants from zones of jihadist activity unless they have a demonstrable record of loyalty to or cooperation with the United States or its allies. When we know that our enemy is seeking to infiltrate and indoctrinate these specific populations (and has greatest access to these populations), the burden of proof for immigration or entry should be squarely placed on the immigrant. If refugees need our aid, we should aid them in the Middle East.

During the primary, Trump outlined a number of immigration proposals, including proposals for “extreme vetting,” temporary suspension of immigration from “dangerous and volatile” regions that have a “history of exporting terrorism,” and establishing some form of additional ideological litmus tests as a condition for entry. He has also advocated establishing “safe zones” for Syrian refugees in Syria.

This is a promising start, but within weeks, he’ll have to get specific. It will be his responsibility to maintain Muslim alliances, protect America’s enormously profitable international tourist trade, and maintain the free flow of commerce across international borders, all while keeping out those men and women who seek to slaughter Americans in the streets. With the exception of his overbroad and misguided proposed temporary Muslim ban, Trump has been at his hard-headed best when it comes to understanding the need for a nation to protect its borders. Monday’s events at Ohio State demonstrate that it’s time to put his broad ideas into precise and effective practice.

How James Mattis As Defense Secretary Could Bust Our Deathly Political Correctness About Islam

The Federalist ^ | 30 Nov, 2016 | M.G. Oprea

Is political Islam in America’s best interests? This question should be central to our strategy of fighting ISIS and Islamist terrorism in general. Yet it’s one that many political leaders would rather not answer, because of our politically correct climate. But since Trump’s transition team announced last week that it’s considering retired Gen. James Mattis for secretary of defense, this reluctance might fade.
In a speech given at the Heritage Foundation last year, Mattis spoke about America’s position vis à vis political Islam. Rather than equivocating on the matter in order to avoid saying something uncomfortable or politically incorrect, Mattis simply pointed out that America needs to make a decision about its stance toward this ideology.
Recall that political Islam, or Islamism, is a movement within Islam: it works toward the increasing implementation of Islamic law and values in all areas of life—usually via state control—in order to make Islam a dominant force in the world.
Why We Don’t Talk About Islamism
Mattis’ suggestion—which sounds like a basic element of defense strategy—has been surprisingly neglected in the years since 9/11. The U.S. tends to deal with Islamism on a case-by-case basis. And so long as any particular group or political entity doesn’t have a direct and obvious link to terrorism, we tend to give them a pass. Even then, this is sometimes too high of a bar, as is the case with the Muslim Brotherhood and associated groups.

Thanks To 'Fight For $15' Minimum Wage, McDonald's Unveils Job-Replacing Self-Service Kiosks

Forbes ^ | Nov 29, 2016 @ 01:37 PM | Ed Rensi

Mr. Rensi is the former president and CEO of McDonald’s USA.
McDonald’s restaurant employees rally after walking off the job to demand a $15 per hour wage and union rights during nationwide ‘Fight for $15 Day of Disruption’ protests on November 29, 2016 in Los Angeles, California. (David McNew/Getty Images)
As the labor union-backed Fight for $15 begins yet another nationwide strike on November 29, I have a simple message for the protest organizers and the reporters covering them: I told you so.
It brings me no joy to write these words. The push for a $15 starter wage has negatively impacted the career prospects of employees...
...start with automation. In 2013...
...this month, McDonald’s announced the nationwide roll-out of touchscreen self-service kiosks. In a video the company released to showcase the new customer experience, it’s striking to see employees who once would have managed a cash register now reduced to monitoring a customer’s choices at an iPad-style kiosk.
It’s not just McDonald’s that has embraced job-replacing technology. Numerous restaurant chains (both quick service and full service) have...
...not all businesses have the capital necessary to shift from full-service to self-service...
...out-of-state labor groups who funded these initiatives aren’t shedding tears over the consequences. Like their Soviet-era predecessors who foolishly thought they could centrally manage prices and business operations... has bought the union a lot of protesters and media coverage. You can expect more of it on November 29. But the real faces of the Fight for $15 are the young people and small business owners who have had their futures compromised. Those faces are not happy ones.
