The Electoral College Is Brilliant

The progressives are determined to get rid of the Electoral College. Of course they are. Abolishing the Electoral College would complete their project of overthrowing America's unique federal system, begun about one hundred years ago.
The direct election of senators was the first and greatest victory of the progressives over the Framers of the Constitution. Made possible by the Seventeenth Amendment in 1913, it mortally wounded the Founders' system. Abolishing the Electoral College will finish the job. And the progressives mean to do just that.
If we want to understand the efforts of the Framers during that hot summer in 1787, we must see them as trying to design self-government with a sober assessment of human nature in mind. When in the next century Lord Acton wrote that "power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely," he captured in a ringing aphorism the view of the Founders.
This understanding of the effect of political power on human nature explains the Framers' focus on defining and limiting federal power. They did so by distributing power among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of the federal government; preserving the political independence of the states; and creating a zone of liberty around the individual – even by further dividing the (supreme) legislative power itself, crafting two legislative bodies with separate powers and potentially competing interests.

Page 22 shows some pictures, and shows a detailed diagram of Huma's connections to terrorists and muzzies (page 23). It looks like the same one that came through Wiki Leaks.
Page 24 goes into the details of how Weiner impacted things.
Also states in the Weiner article (Page 24) that Hillary stalled rescue for Ambassador Stevens and Benghazi.

When Polls Become Idols

Donald J. Trump's victory was described as an upset in many news outlets on November 9, 2016. It was an "upset" only because of the almost uniformly failed prognostications about the results from "scientific pollsters," from Nate Silver to Quinnipiac to CNN and numerous others.
What went wrong?
The news networks and the pollsters will try to answer this question by looking at the demographics of polling, and how there were so many unanticipated "last-minute" shifts among Jews, blacks, women, educated, uneducated, Hispanics, etc. This type of analysis tends to shift the blame from the pollsters to the "unpredictable voter." The voter is thus portrayed as behaving in a surprising, even erratic way that caused the pundits to err.
Is this model of explanation valid?
In order to answer our question, it is not necessary to review the details of polling methodology. Rather, we can answer our question by going back to the sixteenth-century savant Sir Francis Bacon. Bacon perceived that advances in knowledge were being held back by our biases. He called these biases "idols" and asserted that they distorted our perceptions of reality, and even our experimental approach in science.

Minimum wage hikes disastrous for working poor

The first thing to understand about the minimum wage is that it is a classic case of understandable emotionalism and frustration versus concrete data and economic reality. So the clearest explanation is a pros-and-cons listing.
On the pros side of increasing the minimum wage, people who are making it and who keep their jobs will make more money. Their increased earnings improve their purchasing power.
The cons side is a little lengthier.
Sharp increases in the minimum wage reduces the number of entry-level jobs
This, in turn, reduces the opportunity for unskilled workers to start getting experience. This is common sense. You cannot climb a ladder without stepping on the first rung. Minimum wage increases eliminates that first-rung opportunity for a certain number of mostly young or unskilled workers by making automation more affordable. It falls under the law of unintended consequences.

During her bid for vice president in 2008, that was Sarah Palin's crowd-pleasing chant promoting her energy policy. Now the pithy catchphrase – and the former Alaska governor herself – could make a comeback.
News reports say Palin is on President-elect Donald Trump's short list to head the Interior Department. As secretary of the interior, she'd be in charge of overseeing oil drilling, uranium mining and other energy extraction on 500 million acres of public land, including iconic national parks like the Grand Canyon.
The pro-mining policies Trump and Palin could be expected to bring to Interior would mean EWG and other public land advocates would have to resume a fight we thought the Obama administration settled in 2012.
Under President George W. Bush, the Interior Department tried to open up uranium mines near the south rim of the Canyon. It was a scheme that even The Arizona Republic, once a champion of the so-called “Wise Use” movement, denounced.
If Trump does make moves to open up uranium mining around the Grand Canyon, Palin wouldn't stand in his way, judging from her quip in 2011 about opening the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge to oil drilling: “If a caribou needs to be sacrificed for the sake of energy independence, I say, ‘Mr. Caribou, maybe you need to take one for the team.’”
In a few months, she could be leading the team.

A car parts salesman, Viktor drove a Mercedes, and by the time young Melania was 16 he had built the house in the small town of Sevnica – population 4,500 – as a weekend retreat for the family. The property is on the banks of the River Sava.
Meanwhile, Melania's mother Amalija worked as an executive in a textile factory. She would come back from business trips to Milan and Paris with tales that would inspire her daughter to make her name in international fashion – first as a designer before embarking on the modelling career that would lead to her meeting Donald Trump.

Defying Trump, Chicago will continue as immigrant sanctuary

CHICAGO — Joining other cities around the country, Chicago is pledging to remain a sanctuary city for undocumented immigrants, an act of defiance in the face of Donald Trump’s past promise to cut off those cities from federal funding.

In sanctuary cities, local law enforcement officials aren’t required to alert U.S. Immigration and Customs authorities about the immigration status of individuals with whom they come in contact.

On Monday, Chicago's elected officials, including Mayor Rahm Emanuel, are expected to hold a news conference to formally discuss how the city will retain its sanctuary status. Aldermen are expected to call on Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner to pressure Trump to back off his vow to interfere with funding.

What’s left now that the election is over? After witnessing all the mudslinging, lies and insults, did you wake up on Wednesday morning surprised or disappointed? Exuberant or depressed? Are you just relieved that it’s finally over? It’s time to take a deep breath and collect our thoughts.
One thing is certain. None of this took God by surprise. Regardless of how we voted, or even if we didn’t vote at all, now is the time to find common ground with our neighbors and begin healing the wounds of division.
Abraham Lincoln faced a similar challenge during the Civil War, the most divisive time in America’s history. He had just been re-elected for his second term and Congress had voted to end slavery by passing the 13th Amendment under his leadership. At the close of his second inaugural address, Lincoln strengthened a violently divided nation with these words: “With malice toward none, with charity for all, with firmness in the right as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in, to bind up the nation's wounds … to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace among ourselves and with all nations.”
The first step of healing is always acceptance. Accept that we have a new President and newly elected officials at the state and local level to whom we owe our support and respect. Anti-Trump protesters believe they are fighting the good fight to stop a racist, homophobic, sexist monster. But about half of the country – the half that I’m in – is in a different movie. In our movie, we selected a new president and half of the country is in cognitive dissonance over it. Assuming the protesters are the ones experiencing the illusion, and not us, how can we release them from their zombie-like existence so they will stop blocking traffic?
I’ll tell you the general approach.
The main thing you have to do is violate the frame. Clinton framed Trump as a monster, and now protesters are locked into that illusion. If Trump does things that can be construed as monster-like, the illusion is strengthened. But every time he violates that framing, the illusion gets a crack. If it cracks enough, it breaks.
For example, half the country thought Trump was going to eliminate every good thing about Obamacare. But recently the public learned that Trump wants to keep the most popular provisions and just “fix” the rest of it. That violates the monster frame. But it isn’t enough by itself. You need more violations.
Picking Reince Priebus for Chief of Staff was a good step because it makes Trump seem presidential and flexible. That’s another violation of the monster frame. But a small one.
Unfortunately, picking Steve Bannon as chief strategist adds confirmation bias to the monster illusion because Clinton’s team polluted Bannon’s brand during the election. Bannon adds confirmation bias to the monster illusion. I assume Bannon is a great strategist or else Trump wouldn’t risk keeping him.
Yesterday on Sixty Minutes Trump said gay marriage was already settled by the Supreme Court, and Trump is okay with that. That’s a crack in the illusion that Trump is anti-LGBTQ. But not enough. And Trump’s selection of Pence to run the transition team supports the monster theory because Pence has some anti-gay history that needs fixing.
The obvious next move for the Master Persuader involves asking Pence to “evolve” to Trump’s positions on all LGBTQ matters. Everyone expects a VP to pretend to be a full supporter of the President’s policies. That gives cover for Pence to update his LGBTQ views because…
- Religious conservatives will dismiss it as mere politics, believing Pence privately holds views that match their own.
- Anti-Trumpers will see a major violation of the monster frame.
- I will explain it all later as Trump doing “pacing and leading” to bring the Republican Party toward the center where it is strongest. Because that’s what is happening.
Trump has lots of other ways to crack the monster framing in the coming months. He can say more about his “New Deal” ideas for helping African-Americans. He could flip a foreign leader from a critic to a friend. He could come up with some ideas on lowering college costs. He could say more about his plan NOT to deport undocumented citizens who have obeyed the law since coming to this country.
He has lots of levers. Expect him to push one lever after another until the monster framing cracks. By summer the story will be that he’s the most flexible and centrist president in our history.
It is worth noting that Trump and Clinton had very different unframing challenges. If Clinton had won, her job would have been to convince the public she isn’t crooked. But you can’t do that simply by doing some honest things in public. We expect that even crooked people do honest things when watched. Clinton literally had no path to remove her “crooked” label.
But Trump has a more solvable framing problem. Clinton’s team labelled him a racist, homophobic, sexist. Trump can violate that frame enough times to break it over time. But it will take a lot of cracks. You’ve already seen several. Expect more to come.
If I were in Trump’s place I would look for a bigly frame violation and soon. The public is already primed for him to “moderate” away from his campaign promises. This is the time to do it.
In summary, you can’t prove you are honest by NOT stealing something in public. But you can prove you are not a monster by saving a kitten from a tree in public. Monsters never do that sort of thing. This idea is so true that it became the title of the best book ever written about movie script writing: Save the Cat.
Watch for Trump to saves some kittens – as many as necessary – until you can’t hold in your mind the frame that he’s a monster. Enjoy the show. The Master Persuader is just getting started.

Cecile Richards on Donald Trump’s Victory: “I Think Roe v. Wade Was on the Ballot” and We Lost!

It perhaps is an understatement to say that election night did not well for abortion activists.
Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion groups spent tens of millions of dollars on the election, but their massive spending did not succeed in convincing Americans to support the extreme pro-abortion policies of Hillary Clinton and others.
Now, they are planning their defense. On Wednesday, Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow that they are getting ready to fight for a U.S. Supreme Court nominee who supports abortion.
A lot is at stake with the U.S. Supreme Court. One seat currently is open, and several others could come open under President-elect Donald Trump’s term.
Richards said she fears that Roe v. Wade and abortion on demand are at risk because of Trump’s promises to appoint “pro-life” justices.
“… I think that Roe vs. Wade was on the ballot in this election,” Richards told MSNBC, as transcribed by CNS News. “I know that Mr. Trump has said that in his acceptance speech that he was going to govern for all Americans – not just ones that voted for him – and I hope that includes women.
“If he is going to govern and represent all Americans this is a right, the right to safe and legal abortion is a right women have had in this country for more than 40 years and it is supported by people of all parties, so it is important and we will absolutely be fighting for a justice of the Supreme Court who supports this right for women.”
Oddly, Richards also mentioned that people “have been dropping off baked goods” at their facilities after the election to show their support for Planned Parenthood.
SIGN THE PETITION! Congress Must De-Fund Planned Parenthood Immediately
Trump promised to appoint the kinds of judges to the Supreme Court that would please pro-life voters. Prior to the election, he released two separate lists of potential Supreme Court nominees, both of which went over well with pro-life voters and organizations. Leading pro-life groups will undoubtedly hold Trump’s feet to the fire as he will take office with the ability to already appoint one member of the Supreme Court following the death of pro-life Justice Antonin Scalia.
“We are going to appoint great Supreme Court justices… These will be justices of great intellect… And they will be pro-life,” Trump told pro-life leaders in June.
Over the weekend, Trump reiterated his promise to appoint “pro-life” judges during an interview with 60 Minutes. However, he did not directly say whether the judges would overturn Roe v. Wade.

Secretary of State John Kerry winged his way Monday from New Zealand to the Middle East on the next leg of what may be his longest trip yet, a journey during which America’s top diplomat will account for roughly 16.5 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
That’s more or less the amount of CO2 – one of the key “greenhouse gases” blamed for global warming – produced by the average American in a full year, according to World Bank data [1].
Climate change features prominently on Kerry’s itinerary on his current trip, an eight-day haul from Washington to New Zealand to Antarctica – where he became the highest-ranking U.S. official to visit – and on to two Arab Gulf states and then Morocco before winging to Peru and then back home.
The Antarctica visit, which included a stop at the McMurdo research station on Ross Island, was focused primarily on climate change – Kerry spoke about concerns that should a huge ice sheet break up and melt sea levels could rise by 12 feet.

President Trump: Now What?-Steps he should take as President to roll back the global jihad.

A key element of Donald Trump’s popularity as a presidential candidate was his willingness to stake out policy positions that made establishment politicians cower in fear. His success as President will depend upon his willingness to do the same thing. Among his most important tasks will be to take the hard steps necessary to establish a sane and realistic stance for the United States toward the global jihad threat. To do that, he should implement measures such as these:
[1] Suspend (as promised) immigration from nations that are hotbeds of jihad terror activity.
While excoriated as “racist,” this proposal is a simple matter of national security. No one who opposed Trump’s proposal ever offered an alternative way to keep jihadis out of the country. (Of course, the problem of those who learn jihad inside the U.S. is also acute, and must be addressed). Some glibly opined that Trump should ban “Islamists,” not Muslims as a whole, yet never suggested a reliable way to distinguish “Islamists” from ordinary Muslims. Indeed, the Islamic State has instructed its operatives to appear secular -- to avoid ostentatious displays of Islamic piety that might arouse suspicions of “radicalization.” Can America really afford the national security risk of importing whole Muslim communities from Iraq and Somalia, as is happening now, without even making any serious attempt to screen out potential jihadists?
[2] Tell the truth about Islamic jihad and supremacism.
Ever since 2011, it has been official Obama administration policy to deny any connection between Islam and terrorism. This came as a result of an October 19, 2011 letter from Farhana Khera of Muslim Advocates to John Brennan, who was then the Assistant to the President on National Security for Homeland Security and Counter Terrorism, and is now head of the CIA. The letter was signed not just by Khera, but by the leaders of virtually all the significant Islamic groups in the United States: 57 Muslim, Arab, and South Asian organizations, many with ties to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, including the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the Muslim American Society (MAS), the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), Islamic Relief USA; and the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC).
The letter denounced what it characterized as U.S. government agencies’ “use of biased, false and highly offensive training materials about Muslims and Islam.” Despite the factual accuracy of the material about which they were complaining, the Muslim groups demanded that the task force “purge all federal government training materials of biased materials”; “implement a mandatory re-training program for FBI agents, U.S. Army officers, and all federal, state and local law enforcement who have been subjected to biased training”; and moreto ensure that all that law enforcement officials would learn about Islam and jihad would be what the signatories wanted them to learn.
Numerous books and presentations that gave a perfectly accurate view of Islam and jihad were removed from coounterterror training. Today this entrenched policy of the U.S. government ensures that all too many jihadists simply cannot be identified as risks, since the administration is bound as a matter of policy to ignore what in saner times would be taken as warning signs. Trump must reverse that. He has spoken about the threat from “radical Islamic terrorism” on the campaign trail; he must follow through as President and remove the prohibitions on allowing agents to study and understand the motivating ideology behind the jihad threat.
[3] Remove all those linked with the Muslim Brotherhood from any position of responsibilityand end all government agencies’ interaction with groups linked with Hamas.
This shouldn’t even have to be said, but there has been evidence of Muslim Brotherhood operatives having influence in the U.S. government back to 2012, when Representative Michele Bachmann called for an investigation of that infiltration. It’s high time that investigation was actually conducted.

[4] Enforce existing laws.
Section 2385 of the federal criminal code states that “whoever knowingly or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States or the government of any State, Territory, District or Possession thereof, or the government of any political subdivision therein, by force or violence, or by the assassination of any officer of any such government…shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both, and shall be ineligible for employment by the United States or any department or agency thereof, for the five years next following his conviction.”
It may be that the proviso in this statute that the overthrow of the government must be planned as taking place by “force and violence” may prevent this law from being applied against Muslim Brotherhood groups that are intent on subverting America from within. Legal minds should study that issue. But surely – somehow -- working toward “eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within,” as the Muslim Brotherhood has stated its own strategic goal for America, ought to be a prosecutable offense.
[5] Reclassify Muslim organizations.
The U.S. government should call upon Islamic advocacy groups in this country to renounce, any intention now or in the future to replace the Constitution of the United States with Islamic Sharia. This renunciation should be backed up with transparent action to teach in mosques and Islamic schools against this intention, and against the elements of Sharia that contradict American freedoms. Those that refuse to do this, or are found to be teaching these aspects of Sharia, should be immediately closed and prosecuted.
[6] Reconfigure our international alliances.
Such that no state that oppresses women or non-Muslims in accord with Sharia provisions gets a penny of American aid, or is considered a U.S. ally.
The swamp needs draining indeed. These measures, if adopted, would go a long way toward putting the U.S. back on dry land.

They’re prepping the congressional battlefield for the two toughest fights the Dems will have in 2017: the repeal of Obamacare and the confirmation of Trump’s nomination of a conservative to replace the late Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court. Those are the two most important campaign promises Trump made that have to be accomplished in the coming year if they’re going to be accomplished at all.

The Dems will mount their first round filibusters when the confirmation process begins. They will filibuster some of the cabinet and subcabinet folks as a warm-up so that they and their media allies can practice for the two bigger battles. Once Trump makes a first nomination for the Supreme Court or offers Congress a proposal to repeal Obamacare, they’ll pull out all the stops.

That can’t be blown past even if the Republican Senate invokes the “nuclear option” to revoke the filibuster rule.

When Harry Reid, the last Senate Democratic leader, nuked the Republicans by revoking the filibuster rule in 2013, he did so by simple majority vote.

The 2013 nuclear event prevented the Republicans from filibustering most of Obama’s nominees. But Reid’s new rule didn’t prevent them from filibustering Supreme Court nominees or legislation. Before this election, the Dems were rumored to be planning to extend the filibuster ban to Supreme Court nominations as well, if they’d regained control of the Senate.

Tuesday’s election results sent shock waves across the globe after voters selected President-elect Donald Trump as the 45th president — but the results may not have been as surprising to America’s rust belt.
Trump’s message on jobs, trade and the economy resonated in battleground states that turned red for the first time in decades. Trump was able to take in a good number of rank and file union members who usually vote Democrat, even though many union leaders threw support behind former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Clinton still beat Trump by eight points among union households, but that number is 10 points lower than the union household support Obama received over Romney in 2012, according to a Fox News exit poll.
Trump took the rust belt, including Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Labor leaders voiced their support for Clinton at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia this past summer, despite significant support for the Republican nominee among the labor ranks.

For those of you pearl-clutchers on the right who haven't understood why Donald Trump is president-elect, here it is. The man known for the phrase "you're fired" should actually be known for another talent, which is to size up people well and hire them to get things done well. He's not just pretty good; it's a gift that needs to be seen for what it is, which is simple excellence in a time of mediocrity.
One of the principles in The Art of the Deal that Trump speaks of as being of utmost importance is having good instincts, and cultivating the use of them. It's been the key to his success in business, in television, and now in his short career as a politician. Newt Gingrich called him the fastest learner about politics he had ever seen, but it goes deeper than that. His gift of hiring people at the right time is the key to his ascendance.
We know that Trump has hired well during his business career. You don't do as well as he has without knowing how to hire and cultivate people. It's a given: in his business, he hired brilliantly.
You can see it in the campaign in two ways. First, look at the three different people he hired as his campaign managers during different segments of his campaign. Second, look at the advisers he has brought on to his team, those he trusted to help guide him through the minefields of an arena he knew little about.

Is Your Grand Child Getting Enough Vitamin N?

I want to tell you about an essential vitamin you've probably never heard of. If you're a parent, or plan to be one, it might be more important to your child's growth than all other vitamins combined. And only you, a parent, can provide it.

I call it Vitamin N. The word "No."

More and more children, I find, are suffering from Vitamin N deficiency. And they, their parents, and our entire culture are paying the price.
Let me illustrate my point with a story that's quite typical. A father, I'll call him Bill, gave his son, age five, pretty much everything the little boy asked for. Like most parents, Bill wanted more than anything for his son to be happy. But he wasn't. Instead he was petulant, moody, and often sullen. He was also having problems getting along with other children. In addition, he was very demanding and rarely if ever expressed any appreciation, let alone gratitude, for all the things Bill and his wife were giving him. Was his son depressed, Bill wanted to know? Did he need therapy? His son, I told him, was suffering the predictable ill effects of being over-indulged. What he needed was a healthy and steady dose of Vitamin N.
Over-indulgence-a deficiency of Vitamin N--leads to its own form of addiction. When the point of diminishing returns is passed (and it's passed fairly early on), the receiving of things begins to generate nothing but want for more things. One terrible effect of this is that our children are becoming accustomed to a material standard that's out of kilter with what they can ever hope to achieve as adults. Consider also that many, if not most, children attain this level of affluence not by working, sacrificing, or doing their best, but by whining, demanding, and manipulating. So in the process of inflating their material expectations, we also teach children that something can be had for next to nothing. Not only is that a falsehood, it's also one of the most dangerous, destructive attitudes a person can acquire.
This may go a long way toward explaining why the mental health of children in the 1950s - when kids got a lot less -- was significantly better than the mental health of today's kids. Since the '50s, and especially in the last few decades, as indulgence has become the parenting norm, the rates of child and teen depression have skyrocketed.
Children who grow up believing in the something-for-nothing fairy tale are likely to become emotionally stunted, self-centered adults. Then, when they themselves become parents, they're likely to overdose their children with material things - the piles of toys, plushies, and gadgets one finds scattered around most households. In that way, over indulgence--a deficiency of Vitamin N--becomes an inherited disease, an addiction passed from one generation to the next.
This also explains why children who get too much of what they want rarely take proper care of anything they have. Why should they? After all, experience tells them that more is always on the way.
Children deserve better. They deserve to have parents attend to their needs for protection, affection, and direction. Beyond that: They deserve to hear their parents say "no" far more often than yes when it comes to their whimsical desires. They deserve to learn the value of constructive, creative effort as opposed to the value of effort expended whining, lying on the floor kicking and screaming, or playing one parent against the other. They deserve to learn that work is the only truly fulfilling way of getting anything of value in life, and that the harder they work, the more ultimately fulfilling the outcome.
In the process of trying to protect children from frustration, parents have turned reality upside down. A child raised in this topsy-turvy fashion may not have the skills needed to stand on his or her own two feet when the time comes to do so.
Here's a simple rule: Turn your children's world right-side up by giving them all of what they truly need, but no more than 25 percent of what they simply want. I call this the "Principle of Benign Deprivation."
When all is said and done, the most character-building two-letter word in the English language is no. Vitamin N.
Dispense it frequently. You'll be happier in the long run, and so will your child.

Finally, some good news for Hillary! Dissent, along with 9 other things, is going to be really, really cool again in America come January 20th:
At one time, dissent was considered “the highest form of patriotism.” That time was when George W. Bush was president. Dissent was so patriotic that Sen. John Kerry felt compelled to fabricate a quote from Thomas Jefferson in order to highlight dissent’s importance. When Obama took office, dissent immediately was no longer vital; overnight, dissent became racist.
Opposing Obama’s pick to replace Justice Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court? Racist. Opposing Obama’s disastrous nuclear deal with Iran? Racist. Opposing Obamacare? You guessed it: racist.
Under a President Trump, though, dissent will go back to being rock solid evidence of one’s patriotism and commitment to racial equality. No longer will dissent make you (a) dirty racist pining for slavery. Nearly overnight, Donald Trump made dissent cool again.

It’s no secret that Donald Trump is as much of a blank slate on policy as anyone who’s ever been elected president. Both supporters and opponents of the president-elect agree that Trump is still very malleable on many issues and has a lot to learn about both foreign and domestic policy. This is why it is critical for conservatives to win the ‘battle of personnel’ in the coming days.

Failure to land conservative outsiders in key cabinet and advisory roles would be akin to failing to establish control of the beach head during the Normandy invasion. We can dream of our policy battles once we get a footing on land, but if the same RINO insiders who broke the system are allowed to control the administration, we will immediately fall back in the sea, rendering the entire election moot.

Chelsea Manning wants reduced sentence for leaking classified info (from Obama)

Trump to Designate Muslim Brotherhood as Terror Organization!

Donald Trump will work to pass legislation designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, said Walid Phares, a foreign policy advisor for the president-elect.
Speaking to the Egyptian news outlet Youm7, Phares said the legislation, which was already approved by the House Judiciary Committee earlier this year and referred to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee was held up due to the Obama administration’s support of the group.
Clarion Project spearheaded a campaign to educate legislators and move the bill forward over the past year. The bill currently has bipartisan support.
In November of 2015, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) introduced the bill, which identifies three Brotherhood entities in the U.S. including the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).
"We have to stop pretending that the Brotherhood are not responsible for the terrorism they advocate and finance … We have to see it for what it is: a key international organization dedicated to waging violent jihad," Cruz told the Washington Free Beacon at the time.

The bill included is an unprecedented opportunity to educate members of Congress about the Muslim Brotherhood's involvement in terrorism. Egypt released videos showing the Brotherhood's involvement in terrorism and the Egyptian government's website warns about the Brotherhood lobby in the United States.
The bill also outlines how the Brotherhood is linked to CAIR, the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT).
The U.S. designated the Brotherhood’s Palestinian wing—Hamas— in 1997, but the group a whole is allowed to operate in the U.S.

Kellyanne Conway, Republican president-elect Donald Trump’s campaign manager, urged President Obama, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders to use their influence to talk down those she described as “professional” agitators “masquerading as protesters.”
“I think that the President of the United States, Secretary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, perhaps, others can come forward and ask for calm and ask for a peaceful transition and ask their supporters, which are masquerading as protesters now — many of them professional and paid by the way, I’m sure — ask them to give this man a chance so that this country can flourish,” Ms. Conway said on Fox News Sunday.

 Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton squared off in swing states on the trail Thursday. The rest is up to the voters. It's our duty as Americans to register to vote, go to our polling stations on Election Day, and then choose between two people nobody can believe are our only available options. 
Vladimir Putin last week sent a Russian fleet through the English Channel raising East-West tensions. In addition, Moscow accused America of spying on them to find out what's going on in Russia. That's ridiculous, we're too busy trying to find out from them what's going on in America. 
Fox News polls shows a Trump surge that's tied Hillary in the presidential race. It's not been a lofty campaign. Just think, someday future historians will tell their classes that Western Civilization was either saved by the testimony of groped beauty pageant winners or photos of Anthony Weiner's penis. 
Tom Brady attended an Under Armor promotion Thursday where he said he thinks that public interest in the election is hurting NFL TV ratings. He should have stopped there. Tom then said he supports Donald Trump for president, which automatically triggered the NFL's concussion protocols. 
The Chicago Cubs were honored by a huge parade through Chicago Saturday where the Cubs were cheered by millions of long-suffering fans. It was the team's first World Series win in one hundred and eight years. That was so long ago that the 2016 presidential race hadn't even started yet. 
Donald Trump spent Sunday denying Hillary's charges that he's unstable and Hillary Clinton spent all day denying Trump's charges that she's a crook. It's almost over. Americans can't wait for this election to end so we can all go back to despising each other for the football teams we support. 
Hollywood's trade paper Variety gave its first-ever presidential endorsement to Hillary Clinton Friday. The industry is virtually all Democrats. However if Charlton Heston or John Wayne were alive, they'd be voting for Donald Trump, but since they're dead they'll probably be voting for Hillary. 
Melania Trump gave her first campaign speech since the GOP Convention to an audience in Philadelphia Thursday. Melania vowed to use her position as First Lady to fight cyber-bullying. It prompted Democrats to suggest that she can start right now by changing Donald's Wi-Fi password. 
Hillary Clinton said Mexican food is her favorite food and she took the lead among Hispanic voters. She said she loves orange juice and now leads in California. Then she told Florida there is nothing like smoking crystal meth in the Wal-Mart parking lot, and now Florida is too close to call. 
Hillary Clinton faces the voters' decision today as the FBI sifts through lewd texts in Anthony Weiner's laptop for thought-to-be erased Hillary e-mail that she'd secretly transmitted to Weiner's wife. It's insane. Maybe if Anthony Weiner starts sexting again, we'll discover who assassinated JFK. 
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton campaigned to the point of exhaustion all weekend. They are clearly worn out. Hillary promised Friday if elected president she's going to build a wall, a big beautiful wall, and she is going to build that wall between the FBI and the Clinton Foundation. 
Hillary Clinton told a group in Florida Friday that people who care about the rule of law can't vote for Trump. She actually said that. Whenever you see a candidate's pants on fire, you can never be sure if they were just caught telling a lie or butt-dialed somebody on their Samsung Galaxies. 
President Obama defended his record while campaigning for Hillary on the road Friday. The president has been getting less and less respect. Twenty minutes into his speech in North Carolina, President Obama was interrupted by audience members, who asked that he start talking about Hillary. 
Election Day saw a huge voter turnout at the polling places from coast to coast Tuesday. Many Americans are complaining about the election and wondering what happened to the once-high quality of the presidential candidates. In seventy years, we've gone from FDR to JFK to LBJ to WTF. 
The New York Times reported on Monday that Mexico's government was making contingency plans on what to do if Hillary or Trump won the election. They've reacted rationally after watching the American electorate for two years. Mexico decided to build a wall no matter who wins the election. 
The Hollywood Reporter said Donald Trump's effective campaign despite his past history of womanizing opened the door for Hollywood stars to run. Obama himself admitted to past cocaine use and won. If you thought Trump-Clinton was wild, the stage is set in four years for Clooney vs. Sheen. 
FBI Director James Comey decided to close the Hillary e-mail probe Sunday eight days after he reopened it. It surprised no one. Normally, James Comey doesn't reverse himself on deciding to investigate a crime, but apparently he found his suicide note while going through Clinton's e-mails. 
Jim Comey on Saturday announced that he was clearing Hillary of prosecution in the e-mail scandal. This helped the Democrats after he helped the GOP by re-opening the probe twelve days ago. Where does Comey even get the time to read Hillary's e-mails while rigging the election for both sides. 
Bill Clinton's Attorney General Janet Reno died in her sleep after a long illness Sunday. What a character. In addition to being America's first female Attorney General, she held the distinction of being the only woman in Washington D.C. that Bill Clinton never sexually harassed besides Hillary. 
Election Day on Tuesday saw a massive voter turnout in the contest for U.S. president between Donald J. Trump and Hillary Rodham Clinton. The election didn't turn out to Hollywood's liking. On Wednesday morning, street vendors were selling Maps to the Stars' Place in Line at Air Canada. 
New York hotel magnate Donald Trump astounded his critics in the media and Hollywood and was elected president of the United States on Tuesday. There had to be silent rejoicing on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. Donald Trump's election is the Comedian's Full Employment Act of 2016.

The Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank had to cancel polo matches and riding events and quarantine all the horses inside their stables to keep them safe. It was all due to an outbreak of a mysterious and potentially deadly horse virus. Everyone wonders what the horses had on Hillary. 
Donald Trump gave a gracious victory speech in New York on Tuesday which rallied the stock markets in Europe and in Asia. The response to the U.S. election from around the world was very generous and supportive. Syria just agreed to take in one hundred thousand refugees from Hollywood. 
Donald Trump holed up in Trump Tower in New York Wednesday to begin the hard work of putting together his list of cabinet appointees. Trump's economic program is already working. He wasn't the president-elect for a day and already Alec Baldwin landed four more years of steady work.

Donald Trump is gonna be president. Republicans hope he'll keep his promise to build the wall, and Democrats hope he'll keep his promise not to accept the election results. 
After the results came in, Donald Trump gave a big victory speech. He said he couldn't have done it without the love of his life, his rock, his better half . . . FBI Director James Comey. 
President Obama called Donald Trump last night to congratulate him, and even invited him to the White House for a meeting tomorrow. Of course, it was hard to understand Obama, 'cuz at the time he was chewing 80 pieces of Nicorette. 
Trump also received congratulations from Russian President Vladimir Putin. They spent two minutes on the phone discussing politics, then an hour saying, "No YOU hang up!" "No YOU hang up first." 
The market went down when Trump announced he's getting rid of Obamacare. The market went up when Trump simply assured everyone that he replaced it with "something terrific."

Some analysts say a Donald Trump presidency could cripple the future of legalized marijuana. And to make matters worse, once it's crippled, Trump will make fun of it.

California overwhelmingly went Democrat. So what this means is that these Clinton supporters stopped the cars of people who almost definitely voted for Hillary Clinton. Wasn't their day bad enough?
