Husband is ordered to pay at least $3,000 so his estranged wife can see the Chicago Cubs play!

UK Daily Mail ^ | 10/28/2016 | AP

A couple of Chicago Cubs fans are fighting a bitter custody battle... of two precious baseball tickets. A divorcing suburban mother submitted an 'emergency petition for World Series tickets' this week, according to Cook County court documents obtained by the Associated Press Friday. Nancy Riddle wanted to the Cubs's Game 4 against the Cleveland Indians Saturday. But a judge's order says the tickets are held by her estranged husband and fellow Cubs fan John Riddle. Judge Marya Nega ruled after in-court arguments that the husband can keep the tickets for himself and the couple's 12-year-old son but should pay for a new ticket for Nancy in a 'comparable' section to his.

More Politicized Justice to Protect Hillary

AIM ^ | October 26, 2016 | Roger Aronoff

A recently revealed connection between Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, a local Virginia politician and the FBI exposes, at the very least, another deceptive conflict of interest that was likely intended to help protect the viability of Hillary Clinton’s presidential ambitions. These politicians believe they can get away with such actions because they trust that they can count on a complicit mainstream media to cover for their corruption.
A case in point is the funding McAuliffe arranged for Dr. Jill McCabe, the wife of the future deputy director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe. McAuliffe steered nearly $500,000 from his political action committee, Common Good VA, and another approximately $200,000 from the Virginia Democratic Party to Mrs. McCabe for her state senate campaign in 2015. Her campaign had a total budget of $1.8 million, and according to The Washington Post, in 2015 the state allowed candidates to use campaign funds for personal expenses so long as the campaign was operating.

Weekly Update: Clinton Email Crimes!

Judicial Watch ^ | October 28, 2016 | Tom Fitton

Clinton State Department IT Official John Bentel Takes the Fifth
U.S. Spends Millions on “Green Bus Corridor” in Mexico, “Bicycle Highway” in Colombia
Judicial Watch Will Monitor Virginia Polls on Election Day
Special Report: Clinton’s Pay to Play Scheme

The bureaucrats Hillary Clinton worked with at State still are withholding what they know about her illicit email practices.
You can see that in the deposition transcript of John Bentel, the State Department’s former Director of Information Resource Management of the Executive Secretariat, who was ordered by U.S. District Court Judge Emmet G. Sullivan to respond to our questions. We released the transcript this week.
Mr. Bentel, whose office handles information technology for the Office of the Secretary, answered 87 questions with: “On advice from my legal counsel, I decline to answer the question and I invoke my Fifth Amendment rights.”
We had the same experience with IT political appointee Bryan Pagliano , the Clinton State Department IT official who reportedly provided support for the Clinton email system.
Bentel asserted his Fifth Amendment right in answer to many key questions about issues raised directly by Judge Sullivan. On August 19, 2016 , Judge Sullivan granted Judicial Watch’s request to depose Bentel, citing significant discrepancies in Bentel’s previous statements on the Clinton email system:
The Court is persuaded that Mr. Bentel should be deposed because the record in this case appears to contradict his sworn testimony before the [House Select] Benghazi Committee . . .. Specifically, Mr. Bentel testified that he was not aware that Secretary Clinton’s email account was housed on a private server until media reports in 2015 . . .. However, several emails indicate Mr. Bentel knew about the private server as early as 2009.
Bentel asserted his Fifth Amendment rights in response to all questions about what he knew about Hillary Clinton’s email system and its impact on the Freedom of Information Act.
In ordering Bentel’s deposition, Judge Sullivan also cited a May 2016 Inspector General’s report that found that Mr. Bentel told employees in his office that Secretary Clinton’s email arrangement had been approved by the State Department’s legal staff and also instructed his subordinates not to discuss the Secretary’s email again:
In one meeting, one staff member raised concerns that information sent and received on Secretary Clinton’s account could contain Federal records that needed to be preserved in order to satisfy Federal recordkeeping requirements. According to the staff member, the Director stated that the Secretary’s personal system had been reviewed and approved by Department legal staff and that the matter was not to be discussed any further . . . . According to the other S/ES-IRM staff member who raised concerns about the server, the Director stated that the mission of S/ES-IRM is to support the Secretary and instructed the staff never to speak of the Secretary’s personal email system again.
Bentel asserted his Fifth Amendment right when asked about this reference to the State Department Inspector General’s report and about his FBI interview.
Mr. Bentel, on advice of the Obama Justice Department and personal counsel, refused to answer any questions about whether Hillary Clinton was paying his legal fees or offered him employment or other financial incentives. Pagliano also declined to say who was paying for his legal representation.
We previously deposed seven former Clinton top aides and current State Department officials, including top Clinton aides Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin . We also deposed IT official Bryan Pagliano, who asserted his Fifth Amendment right not to testify during the Judicial Watch deposition . And Clinton last week answered our questions under oath regarding her non-government email system.
The depositions come in connection with a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit that seeks records about the corrupt patronage job given to Clinton confidante Huma Abedin, who served as deputy chief of staff to former Secretary Clinton ( Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:13-cv-01363)).
The fact that yet another State Department official took the Fifth highlights the disturbing implication that criminal acts took place related to the Clinton email system and our FOIA requests.

When Will Liberals Answer for Obamacare's Failures? ^ | October 29, 2016 | David Harsanyi

These days, there's been a lot of discussion about conservative media's culpability in creating unrealistic expectations and warped priorities among Republican voters. It's a reasonable critique. My question: When are we going to have this conversation about the other side -- you know, the one that enabled the passage of a massive partisan health care reform law that's failed to deliver on almost all its promises?
No doubt, you'll remember all those romantic charts and stories from the liberal smart set predicting Obamacare's affordability and success. Remember the jeering aimed at conservatives who argued that state-run markets inhibiting genuine competition and increasing regulations would only spur costs to rise? "Lies," liberals said.
In 2014, The Washington Post's E.J. Dionne asked a valuable question: "Is there any accountability in American politics for being completely wrong?" The answer: Of course not. Not for conservative talkers -- and definitely not for liberal pundits who keep modifying the meaning of success.
At the time, Dionne argued that the Affordable Care Act was doing exactly what its supporters had predicted, "getting health insurance to millions who didn't have it before." In reality, that was only one piece of Obamacare's promise, and even that accomplishment has been retroactively simplified to create an impression of unqualified success. Far from it.
Of course mandating and subsidizing health insurance will decrease the number of uninsured. Yet punditry on the left seems to be under the impression that coercing people to participate is revolutionary policymaking. Countless times in 2009, the president promised that exchanges would offer those newly insured Americans more quality "choices" and "affordability" and push down rates overall. (He promised the rest of us that health care premiums would fall by $2,500 for a family of four. Instead, they've risen by over $4,800.)
New administration data released this week find that Obamacare premiums will spike an average of 25 percent across the country for benchmark plans in 2017. Americans will be forced to forfeit plans they like or lose insurance altogether and accept a tax or fine -- or whatever liberals are calling their state-enforced mandate these days.
But don't worry; consumers on exchanges will also have far fewer choices. The number of health insurance carriers in the exchanges will drop from 298 this year to 228 in 2017. In five states -- Alaska, Alabama, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Wyoming -- there will be only one insurance company providing plans in 2017. It's one too many for many on the left.
Obamacare is working so well that Democrats are now pressuring Republicans to fix it and Hillary Clinton is arguing that to save it, we need a "public option" -- a euphemism for a government-run insurance program. You can't save contrived marketplaces, because they never work. They don't work even when you allow cronyistic insurance companies to write policy. They don't work simply because technocrats massage numbers and cram them into a line chart.
Even as he was boasting about his signature achievement this past week, President Obama conceded that six years after passage, Obamacare is still experiencing "growing pains." You know, it's just like a "starter home," he said. "You hope that over time, you make some improvements."
Rest assured, those "improvements" never mean opening up markets or loosening restrictions. In other words, health care reform was exactly what many Republicans feared it would be: a way to incrementally socialize the system.
"We think they will ultimately be surprised by the affordability of the premiums, because the tax credits track with the increases in premiums," Kevin Griffis, assistant secretary for public affairs at the Department of Health and Human Services, reassured exchange users after the rate hikes were announced.
There are about 10 million customers who purchase their health care through and state-run offshoots. With no effective national reform in sight, that number will most likely grow. Although these consumers will have fewer choices, they will still receive financial assistance to offset the rate hikes. A spike in rates on the benchmark plans means more subsidies. Someone has to pay for what turns out to be little more than a new welfare program.
Unlike the media seers who saw Obamacare paying for itself -- magically bending the cost curve in the right direction and creating vibrant pretend marketplaces that offer uninsured Americans an array of affordable choices -- I can't see the future. The trajectory of the law, though, offers us two choices, broadly speaking.
Republicans could let the law die. They could then reform the health care system by allowing it to function more like every other successful market in the country -- with minimal interference from politicians. Or we could all accept another giant unfunded liability, higher taxes and further socialization of our health care system. The only question will be how quickly it will happen. One thing's for sure, though. Despite all evidence, liberal cheerleaders of Obamacare will continue to act as if the law has been an awe-inspiring success.

James Comey Acted on His Own in Clinton Email Disclosure, Violated Justice Department Policy

NY Mag ^ | 10/29/2016 | Chas Danner

According to the New Yorker’s Jane Mayer and the Washington Post, F.B.I. Director James Comey acted on his own when he, 11 days before the election, disclosed on Friday that new emails had been discovered which may or may not be relevant to the agency’s closed investigation of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while Secretary of State. Comey, by informing Congress of the evidence, apparently disregarded the opinions of Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Justice Department officials, who had reminded him of the department’s policy of not commenting on ongoing investigations nor acting in such a way as could influence an upcoming election.
Comey apparently understood we was violating these guidelines, but felt he was obligated to do so because he had promised members of Congress he would inform them of any further developments related to Clinton’s email server misuse, as well as because of the proximity of the impending election. In a letter he sent to F.B.I. employees after alerting Congress of the new evidence, Comey acknowledged that it was unprecedented for him to inform Congress of an incomplete investigation, but explained that:
"I feel an obligation to do so given that I testified repeatedly in recent months that our investigation was completed. I also think it would be misleading to the American people were we not to supplement the record. At the same time, however, given that we don’t know the significance of this newly discovered collection of emails, I don’t want to create a misleading impression. In trying to strike that balance, in a brief letter and in the middle of an election season, there is significant risk of being misunderstood, but I wanted you to hear directly from me about it."

NEW LEAKS TODAY ^ | 10/29/2016 | Hillary Clinton

1. Hillary caught on tape about rigging the Palestine election
2. "Bill Clinton Inc." How millions of dollars were raised for the Clintons. Blurred lines between personal and Foundation money

3. Bribe money: Bill Clinton paid $255,000 for speech. Two months later, Hillary awards CISCO the State Department’s Award for Corporate Excellence

4. DNC and Hillary campaign had joint account during primaries

“I wanted to get your blessing to move forward with the DNC joint account. We didn't get a chance to cover that on our call. I'm obviously happy to have a conversation about it if you want--or move forward. I'm happy with the arrangement and believe it's important to our money and operational strategies." "I'm fine w the TV and go ahead w DNC. Thx."

This email is from July 15, 2015. She announced her candidacy on April 12, 2015. This is all well before the Democratic primaries even started. Hillary herself OK's the deal in the email.
This is highly illegal and violates FEC laws. It also once again shows that the primaries were rigged against Bernie Sanders since the beginning.

Clinton campaign wages new war against James Comey (Clinton News Network Alert!)

Clinton News Network ^ | 10/29/2016 | MJ Lee and Dan Merica

(CNN) Hillary Clinton's campaign is waging a full-out war on FBI Director James Comey in the final 10 days of the election.

A day after Comey made the stunning announcement that the FBI is examining newly unveiled emails that appear to be "pertinent" to the now-closed investigation into Clinton's private server, top campaign officials unleashed a blistering attack on the FBI director, accusing him of being irresponsibly "light on facts" and "heavy on innuendo."

On a conference call with reporters Saturday, Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta accused Comey of failing to be "forthcoming with the facts." Podesta blasted both the timing and contents of the letter Comey sent to congressional leaders on Friday, summing the director's actions as "providing selective information."

See Trump Run—And Win! ^ | October 29, 2016 | John P. Warren

Can anyone doubt Donald J. Trump may well become our first Independent POTUS? Conservatives disdain him and all that he stands for, and Progressives of all stripes deplore him and the basket of his supporters. The establishment disavows him. So who will elect him?
· The Blue Dog Coalition—represents conservative Democrats who have tired of identity politics, empty promises to working people, destruction of their mores, and the rampant corruption amongst top Dems.
· Mainstream Republicans—are all over the map in their beliefs about religion, sexual identity, abortion, gun rights, and immigration, but they are fed up with the take-no-prisoners approach by extremists in their party. Despite putdowns to the contrary, they cross social, wealth, and educational boundaries.
· Indies—comprise the big chunk smack in the middle who, like ordinary Republicans, eschew the extreme positions, are willing to compromise, even on sensitive and personal issues, but want something done about immigration and the gaps in job opportunities, education, and wealth. Indies hate corruption more than bad social behavior.
These groups are angry about the banana republic culture of progressive Democrats. They know that for all his personal foibles, Donald Trump is right: the system is rigged against an outlier. That’s not to suggest there’s a group of elites arranging things to their liking with a few string-pulls. It’s the system of two major party establishments encrusted with the principles of their in-house philosophical tyrants. It’s a society in which progressives infest our educational system, Hollywood and the entertainment industry, and the grossly mis-named mainstream media crowd. It’s a federal government no longer a traffic cop protecting our rights, but rather, but another tool corrupted for the progressive political agenda. Trump’s constituencies know that anyone running outside permitted boundaries has had no chance of success.
Until now. Until Donald J. Trump. He’s the outlier. The underdog tired of being kicked around. Despite myriad splinters this particular example of presidential timber, Trump has beat all the odds, and from this vantage point of over a week out, November 8 looks to be more than a squeaker in his favor.
Unless, of course, the election itself is stolen by Democrats so desperate to keep hidden their secrets. Is it possible to commit vote fraud? Most definitely. It’s not about people registered in both Ohio and Florida, whole cemeteries or ex-residents of state pens going to the polls. That has happened and will happen again, but unless there’s a massive number of people moving a massive amount of votes in exactly the right locales, the national election should remain relatively immune from such shenanigans. Also, defective voting machines have always been with us, so it’s up to each citizen to pay close attention to what happens before pulling the lever. What they can’t see, however, is the invisible third party electronically camped between county election offices and their respective state capitols flipping votes a few thousand here and there. If THAT happens, we will not keep the republic Ben Franklin and the Founders gave us. For this discussion, however, let’s hope that’s not the case.
If Hillary Clinton is “elected,” her administration will be dogged by journalistic and other investigators digging deeper into the pile of political offal that represents the mass of Clinton pay-to-play activities. And if the FBI “gets religion” this time around, that cancer will not be curable.
If Trump, surviving every barrage, pushes through to electoral victory, November 8th is one hurdle, but there remain others before Inauguration Day. If possible—despite Hillary’s oh-so-pious promises to the contrary—progressives will challenge the vote everywhere they can. Assuming those challenges come to naught, the next hurdle is the vote by the Electoral College itself.
Currently, there are 538 electors (for 435 representatives, 100 senators, and three allotted to Washington, DC). Except for Maine and Nebraska, which awards its electoral votes by congressional district, the other forty-eight are winner-take-all. Electors are usually chosen by each political party, and most often, they are true to the pledge they have given. Yet, in this year of all years, when Trump is not a Republican’s Republican, and Democrats will not be shy about dirty tricks, it’s the issue of faithfulness that matters. Only 24 states have laws to punish faithless electors—those who cast a vote for other than the person to whom they are pledged, so the potential for faithless electors in the other 26 states and DC is greater than ever before.
Faithless electors aside, they will meet in their respective state capitals on the Monday after the second Wednesday in December—this year, December 19th, and ordinarily, the process should be little more than a formality required by the Constitution.
Then, there’s the Twelfth Amendment requiring Congress to convene in joint session on January 6, 2017. There, the newly installed House of Representatives declares the winner of the election. The kicker is that if one member of each house, in writing, objects to the vote count of a state, the entire assemblage, after separate debate in their respective chambers, decides whether to accept or reject the objection. It’s easy to imagine, how in this particular election, the process might be manipulated by a Bernie Sanders or an Elizabeth Warren.
Trump’s last hurdle will be to disabuse the fears of many Americans so heavily stoked by those arrayed against him, and then bring together all but die-hard progressives in rebuilding America as the last best hope of humanity on this planet. It’s a daunting task, but Donald Trump is the only candidate with the political cojones to get it done.
So, let’s get ‘er done!

Huma Abedin Swore Under Oath She Gave Up 'All the Devices' With State Dept. Emails

The Daily Beast ^ | October 29, 2016 | M.L. Nestel and Jackie Kucinich

The FBI found emails pertinent to its Clinton investigation, reportedly on a computer from her aide's home. That doesn't jibe with she told lawyers this summer.
On June 28, 2016, Abedin said under oath in a sworn deposition that she looked for all devices that she thought contained government work on them so the records could be given to the State Department. (These records were subsequently reviewed by the FBI.)
"How did you go about searching for what records you may have in your possession to be returned to the State Department?" Attorney Ramona Cotca for Judicial Watch asked her.
"I looked for all the devices that may have any of my State Department work on it and returned - returned - gave them to my attorneys for them to review for all relevant documents. And gave them devices and paper," Abedin answered.

Questions about Hillary Clinton’s emails need answers – now

The Sacramento Bee ^(ultra Liberal) | October 29th, 2016 | By the Editorial Board
Posted on 10/29/2016, 11:12:41 AM by Mariner

Hillary Clinton almost made it through October without a surprise. But here we are, less than two weeks to Election Day and the FBI is, once again, taking “investigative steps” to determine whether a batch of emails contain classified information and are relevant to the investigation of the Democratic presidential nominee’s private server.

The revelation, which surfaced Friday in a leaked memo from FBI Director James Comey to members of Congress, is stunning in its implications for what’s already been an incredibly divisive presidential race.

Most poll watchers started the day assuming the election would be a slam dunk for Clinton – a flawed candidate, for sure, but a sound choice compared to the wholly unfit Donald Trump. By the end of the day, they were less sure. FiveThirtyEight, Nate Silver’s well-regarded election forecasting website, changed its projection about Clinton winning from 85 percent earlier this week to 81 percent by Friday afternoon.

Many pertinent and worrisome questions remain unanswered. Who sent the emails? Who received them? When? And how many?

Clinton, in a news conference late Friday, said she hadn’t spoken with Comey and she had no answers to give.

“Right now, your guess is as good as mine,” she said. “And I don’t think that’s good enough.”

Attorney General told FBI director James Comey NOT to send letter to Congress

Daily Mail UK ^ | October 29, 2016 | Regina F. Graham

Attorney General told FBI director James Comey NOT to send letter to Congress about bureau reopening the investigation into Hillary's emails because it could influence the election outcome
Attorney General Loretta Lynch advised Comey against sending a letter to Congress about the FBI's reopened investigation into Clinton's emails She argued to Comey that he should follow the Justice Department's practice of not taking actions that could influence the election Attorney General Loretta Lynch advised and objected against FBI Director James Comey's move to send a letter to Congress to inform them about the reopening of the investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server.
Lynch argued to Comey that he should follow the Justice Department's practice of not taking actions that could influence the outcome of a presidential election, The New Yorker reported on Saturday.
Comey broke from Lynch, who objected to the move along with the Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, and independently sent the letter to Congress on Friday, dropping the bombshell about the restarted investigation based on newly discovered emails, rocking Clinton's campaign.
Comey's supporters argue that he had to break away from Lynch and act independently on the issue due to her compromising herself when she had an impromptu visit with former president Bill Clinton late into the investigation earlier this year. Comey broke away and sent a memo to bureau staffers explaining his decision to notify Congress He wrote that the FBI would not 'ordinarily' inform Congress about its ongoing investigations But said he noted he felt an 'obligation to' given that he testified repeatedly in recent months that bureau's investigation was completed On Friday, he sent a letter to eight Republican lawmakers regarding the reopened investigation - rocking Clinton's campaign

Democrat-Run Cities Push Plans to Let Non-Citizens Vote!

Breitbart ^ | Oct 28, 2016 | Katie McHugh

A handful of Democratic-run cities are considering plans to allow non-citizens and illegal aliens to vote in elections, which would further strengthen Democratic incumbents and blur the differences between citizen and non-citizen.
New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, and a handful of Maryland jurisdictions allow non-citizens to participate in some types of local or school elections. On November 8, San Franciscans will get to choose whether or not their sanctuary city that protects illegal aliens, including repeat criminals such as Kate Steinle’s alleged killer, from deportation, will also allow non-citizens to vote in school board elections.
Similar measures failed in 2004 and 2010, but San Francisco Assemblyman David Chiu, whose parents were Taiwanese immigrants, is confident it stands a good chance of passing this year because there is no organized opposition. “I think that’s because of the ugly, anti-immigrant statements expressed by Donald Trump and his supporters,” he told Bloomberg News.
The article slams Donald Trump’s warnings about voter fraud by non-citizens, saying “there’s no evidence to support the Republican nominee’s claims of election fraud, ” even as it describes the Democrats’ effort in cities to give ballots to illegals.

Both Satan and Hillary’s laugh come with the painful screams of millions of babies ripped from their mother’s wombs and with those yet to come.

The uproarious laughs of both Satan and Clinton rose to a creepy crescendo Friday when the FBI put into action the most effective way to take public attention away from the revelations of James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas and Julian Assange’s WikiLeaks.

The Nuclear Option — Wikileaks Reveals Even Hillary’s Own Staff Knows Truth: She’s Psychotic

Breitbart ^ | 29 Oct 2016 | CHARLES HURT

Turns out the Clintons have been right all along: Lying really does work. Poring through all these purloined emails, you get the sense that these people spend every breathing second of their day either lying, plotting to tell lies or lying about lies they told in the past.
And each batch of stolen emails is worse than the last.
Hillary Clinton is a liar. She has terrible instincts. She doesn’t believe in anything. Her head is broken. She doesn’t know why she should be president. She is pathological. And she is psychotic.
Just ask everybody who works for her. Just ask campaign chairman John Podesta. Just ask the people working the hardest to get her elected president.
I mean, in her most rabid streak of attacks on Donald Trump’s alleged unfitness for office, Mrs. Clinton doesn’t call him “psychotic.”
Psychotic! That is what her campaign chairman called her.
Remember back when President Bill Clinton got into all that trouble molesting the young intern in his Oral Office? Remember the first thing the lying, conniving, dissembling commander-in-cheek did?
Take a poll. And he found out that he could skate by on even this — even this! But first — the poll told him — he had to stall for time. He had to lie about it for as long as he possibly could before coming clean.

Huma Abedin: Agent of Influence Very Sympathetic to the Muslim Brotherhood!

Breitbart News ^ | Sept 9, 2016 | John Hayward

Erik Prince on Huma Abedin: ‘Agent of Influence Very Sympathetic to the Muslim Brotherhood’ Had Hillary Clinton’s Ear ‘for All These Years’
Retired Navy SEAL and former Blackwater CEO Erik Prince offered his insights on former SoS Hillary Clinton’s close personal aide Huma Abedin on Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM.
“Huma Abedin, the person closest to Hillary Clinton in the world, connected to the Muslim Brotherhood, edited a journal with radical Islamic thought in it. Her family, she comes from a bizarre background – well, it’s not really bizarre, it’s kinda commonplace in the Muslim world.....
“Her parents, particularly her father, was very much a Muslim Brotherhood sympathizer or agent, originally from India,” Prince replied.
“The Muslim Brotherhood approach is a slow, creeping infiltration and takeover, with sharia law, so having an agent of influence very sympathetic to the Muslim Brotherhood, sitting right at the ear of Hillary Clinton for all these years, these decades, and then potentially in the White House, is absolutely unacceptable,” he warned.
“She’d have a very difficult time passing any actual quality security background check on agents of influence,” Prince said. “It’s extremely troubling, and it’s amazing for Hillary, that purports herself to be a feminist and a great supporter of women’s rights, to at the same time have an adviser whose own view of the world is so anti-woman.”
He supported this assertion by describing the Muslim Brotherhood as “a paradigm that subjugates women, that believes it’s acceptable to murder and execute gays, female genital mutilation – just the list of awful things that we, in the West, consider barbaric and horrid to just talk about, it is central to their way of thinking.”
“And here she is, chirping in Hillary’s ear all these years,” he said of Huma Abedin.

Anger, disbelief in Clinton camp

The Hill ^ | 10/28/2016 | Amie Parnes and Jonathan Easley

Hillary Clinton’s allies were cast into a state of anger and disbelief over the FBI’s stunning announcement that it is reviewing new emails “pertinent” to Clinton’s use of a private email server.
That shocking development — revealed in a letter to Congress by FBI Director James Comey — pushed some of Clinton’s allies past the boiling point.
They said they were “dumbfounded” by the revelation that the new FBI review may have been spurred by a separate investigation into Anthony Weiner sending lewd texts to a minor. Weiner is separated from wife Huma Abedin, one of Clinton’s closest aides.
And they worried that Clinton’s unconventional email arrangement had finally caught up to her and might imperil her presidential bid less than two weeks before Election Day.
“I'm livid, actually,” one Clinton surrogate told The Hill. “This has turned into malpractice. It's an unforced error at this point. I have no idea what Comey is up to but the idea this email issue is popping back up again is outrageous. It never should have occurred in the first place. Someone somewhere should have told her no. And they didn't and now we're all paying the price.”

Here’s the press release:

The Democratic Coalition Against Trump filed a complaint with the Department of Justice Office of Professional Responsibility on Friday against FBI Director James Comey for interfering in the Presidential election, following the FBI’s decision to open up an investigation into Secretary Clinton’s emails this close to Election Day. Federal employees are forbidden from participating in political activities under the Hatch Act.

Watergate's Carl Bernstein: FBI Wouldn't Reopen A Probe Unless It Is "A Real Bombshell" ^ | Oct 28, 2016

In the aftermath of the so-called Cocktober surprise unveiled this afternoon by the FBI when the bureau announced it was reopening a probe into Hillary Clinton's email server because "new evidence has come to light" after "materials" were found on equipment belonging to Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin, the question on everyone's lips - and certainly Hillary Clinton's and most democrats - is why did the FBI do this now, 11 days before the election, in a way that did not even coordinate with the White House?
One opinion belongs to Watergate journalist Carl Bernstein, who just days after his infamous peer Bob Woodward said that the "Clinton foundation is corrupt, it's a scandal" said that "her conduct in regard to the e-mails is really indefensible and if there was going to be more information that came out, it was the one thing, as I said on the air last night, actually that could really perhaps affect this election. We don't know what this means yet except that it's a real bombshell. And it is unthinkable that the Director of the FBI would take this action lightly, that he would put this letter forth to the Congress of the United States saying there is more information out there about classified e-mails and call it to the attention of congress unless it was something requiring serious investigation. So that's where we are..."

Emails in Anthony Weiner Inquiry Jolt Hillary Clinton’s Campaign

The presidential campaign was rocked on Friday after federal law enforcement officials said that emails pertinent to the closed investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server were discovered on a computer belonging to Anthony D. Weiner, the estranged husband of a top Clinton aide.

In a letter to Congress, the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, said the emails had surfaced in an unrelated case, which law enforcement officials said was an F.B.I. investigation into illicit text messages from Mr. Weiner to a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina. Mr. Weiner, a former Democratic congressman from New York, is married to Huma Abedin, the top aide.

The Bully Party

Dilbert ^ | Scott Adams

I’ve been trying to figure out what common trait binds Clinton supporters together. As far as I can tell, the most unifying characteristic is a willingness to bully in all its forms.

If you have a Trump sign in your lawn, they will steal it.

If you have a Trump bumper sticker, they will deface your car.

On social media, almost every message I get from a Clinton supporter is a bullying type of message. They insult. They try to shame. They label. And obviously they threaten my livelihood.

If you speak of Trump at work you could get fired.

We know from Project Veritas that Clinton supporters tried to incite violence at Trump rallies. The media downplays it.

We also know Clinton’s side hired paid trolls to bully online. You don’t hear much about that.

Donald Trump will be president, according to an AI that's never been wrong!

Beta News ^ | October 28, 2016 | Wayne Williams

Donald Trump is viewed by many as a figure of fun, a racist, and a misogynist. His polls are way down, and at this point it looks like he has no chance of winning the election. Two weeks ago, Microsoft’s Bing gave Hillary Clinton an 87 percent chance of winning (although this has since dropped to 82 percent).

However, an AI system is predicting a completely different result -- that Trump will prevail, and become the next president of the United States. What makes its forecast even more interesting is it has correctly identified the outcome of the last three US presidential elections and the results of the Democrat and Republican Primaries.
The AI system, called MogIA, analyses 20 million data points from sources in the US such as Facebook, Twitter, Google and YouTube, and uses this to identify user engagement. According to the system’s creator, engagement is key to winning elections. No candidate with the most engagement in the last 12 years since the system was created has ever lost.
"If Trump loses, it will defy the data trend for the first time in the last 12 years since Internet engagement began in full earnest," MogIA's creator Sanjiv Rai, told CNBC.
And Trump’s engagement is truly impressive -- it’s currently 25 percent higher than Barack Obama’s was in 2008, when he first became president, although there are significantly more people using social media these days, which skews things slightly.
While the system has worked brilliantly to date, it is a little flawed. Just because someone engages with a Trump tweet doesn’t mean they agree with the sentiment, or that they are supporters. In fact it could well mean the exact opposite in a lot of cases.
We shall find out soon enough who the next president will be, and whether MogIA has managed to nail it once again.

New Hillary Clinton Probe ‘Suggests Criminality,’ Veteran FBI Investigator Says ^ | October 28, 2016

The announcement on Friday that the FBI is investigating a new batch of Hillary Clinton emails suggests the bureau may have uncovered something criminal, a 35-year FBI veteran tells TheWrap.
“This letter is a shocker,” said James Wedick, who headed the FBI’s corruption squad in Sacramento. “Obviously they stumbled upon something that suggests criminality.”
In a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee, FBI director James Comey explained that the bureau “has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation.”
Comey did not explain where the new emails came from, only saying only that they surfaced “in connection with an unrelated case.”
The New York Times reported Friday that the new batch of related emails were discovered on the devices of former Congressman Anthony Weiner and his wife, Clinton aide Huma Abedin, as part of another FBI investigation into illicit text messages that Weiner sent to a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina.
