Washington Post changes concerns about Clinton’s health from “junk science” to “a real issue”
wordpress ^ | September 11, 2016 | Dan from Squirrel Hill

On August 8, 2016, the Washington Post published this article, which is called “Armed with junk science and old photos, critics question #HillarysHealth.”
On September 11, 2016, the same newspaper published this other article, which is called “Hillary Clinton’s health just became a real issue in the presidential campaign.”
Both titles are wrong.
The first title is wrong, because the claims about Hillary Clinton being sick were not based on “junk science.” Instead, they were based on photographs and videos.
The second title is wrong, because Clinton’s health did not “just” become an issue. Instead, it has been an issue for quite some time. Instead, the only thing that is “just” happening is that the Washington Post is finally admitting something that it should have admitted a long time ago.
Large numbers of regular people on the internet – bloggers, YouTubers, and people posting at the comment sections in news articles – people with no “credentials” and no formal training or degree in journalism – have proven themselves to be better reporters than the “reporters” at the Washington Post.

The Race for President is (Probably) Over

Dilbert.com ^ | 9/11/2016 | Scott Adams

If you are following breaking news, Hillary Clinton abruptly left the 9-11 memorial today because she was reportedly “overheated.” Her campaign says she is fine now.

You probably wonder if the “overheated” explanation is true – and a non-issue as reported – or an indication of a larger medical condition. I’m blogging to tell you it doesn’t matter. The result is the same.

Here’s why:

If humans were rational creatures, the time and place of Clinton’s “overheating” wouldn’t matter at all. But when it comes to American psychology, there is no more powerful symbol of terrorism and fear than 9-11 .

When a would-be Commander-in-Chief withers – literally – in front of our most emotional reminder of an attack on the homeland, we feel unsafe.

And safety is our first priority. Hillary Clinton just became unelectable.

Presidential Death During the Election Process

teaching history dot org ^ | 2016 | Buescher

Question What happens to a U.S. presidential candidate if he/she dies after their respective political party grants them the nomination, and before they are elected? Are there bylaws set up by each individual party that provide procedures for this? Also, is there a historical precedent in U.S. history where this may have happened in the past?

Answer No presidential candidate of a major party has ever died or withdrawn before a presidential election and no President-elect has ever died or withdrawn after winning the general election, but before taking office.

However, one vice-presidential candidate died after he was nominated, but before the general election, and another dropped off his party's ticket.

The procedures for finding replacements for candidate vacancies are guided by federal and state laws and party regulations. They are not exactly a patchwork, but they have evolved in response to practical problems that have arisen during the presidential elections, and in response to the growth of political parties as integral players in the election process.

Hillary Clinton’s health just became a real issue in the presidential campaign!

Washington Post ^ | September 11, 2016 | Chris Cillizza

Hillary Clinton falling ill Sunday morning at a memorial service on the 15th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks will catapult questions about her health from the ranks of conservative conspiracy theory to perhaps the central debate in the presidential race over the coming days.

Hospitals in England are on the brink of collapse, warn NHS chiefs (socialized medicine)

The Guardian ^ | 09-10-2016 | Denis Campbell

The body that represents hospitals across England has issued a startling warning that the NHS is close to breaking point because of its escalating cash crisis.
Years of underfunding have left the service facing such “impossible” demands that without urgent extra investment in November’s autumn statement it will have to cut staff, bring in charges or introduce “draconian rationing” of treatment – all options that will provoke public disquiet, it says.
n an unprecedentedly bleak assessment of the NHS’s own health, NHS Providers, which speaks for hospital trust chairs and chief executives, tells ministers that widespread breaches of performance targets, chronic understaffing and huge overspends by hospitals mean that it is heading back to the visible decline it last experienced in the 1990s.
“Taken together this means the NHS is increasingly failing to do the job it wants to do and the public needs it to do, through no fault of its own,” Chris Hopson, the chief executive of NHS Providers, writes in the Observer.

Obama purged military of those who sought victory!

American Thinker ^ | September 10, 2016 | Daniel John Sobieski

It was not hyperbole when GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump said that under resident Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the U.S. military had been "reduced to rubble" and left floundering without a coherent strategy or meaningful capability to win wars. It is a fait accompli, engineered by our commander-in-chief to reduce America's global footprint, an America he has profusely apologized for, and one he blames for all the world's ills.
Almost as soon as he took office, resident Obama began a military purge not dissimilar to those routinely conducted by third-world despots, with the goal of eliminating voices that might oppose his withdrawing America from the world stage
...
what has happened to our officer corps since resident Obama took office is viewed in many quarters as unprecedented, baffling and even harmful to our national security posture. We have commented on some of the higher profile cases, such as Gen. Carter Ham. He was relieved as head of U.S. Africa Command after only a year and a half because he disagreed with orders not to mount a rescue mission in response to the Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi.
Rear Adm. Chuck Gaouette, commander of the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group, was relieved in October 2012 for disobeying orders when he sent his group on Sept. 11 to "assist and provide intelligence for" military forces ordered into action by Gen. Ham.
...
Retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely ... The White House protects their own. That's why they stalled on the investigation into Fast and Furious, Benghazi and ObamaCare. He's intentionally weakening and gutting our military, Pentagon and reducing us as a superpower, and anyone in the ranks who disagrees or speaks out is being purged."

Mary Matalin Says Trump Has an 85%-100% Chance of Becoming President

Still Report ^ | 9/10/2016 | Bill Still

Veteran Republican strategist Mary Matalin – who in May switched her party affiliation to Libertarian – initially said on Bloomberg TV on Thursday that Donald Trump has a 100% chance of winning the presidency.
And why? Matalin, who is famously married to her political opposite, James Carville, says that Trump is closing despite Hillary Clinton spending millions of dollars on TV advertising in an attempt to knock him out very early on.
It hasn’t worked.
Matalin then lowers her estimate of a Trump victory to 85%.
Matalin thinks that Trump will benefit from the down-ballot races and their turnout operations.

Exposed: FBI Director James Comey’s Clinton Foundation Connection

http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/09/10/exposed-fbi-director-james-comeys-clinton-foundation-connection/ ^

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A review of FBI Director James Comey’s professional history and relationships shows that the Obama cabinet leader — now under fire for his handling of the investigation of Hillary Clinton — is deeply entrenched in the big-money cronyism culture of Washington, D.C. His personal and professional relationships — all undisclosed as he announced the Bureau would not prosecute Clinton — reinforce bipartisan concerns that he may have politicized the criminal probe. These concerns focus on millions of dollars that Comey accepted from a Clinton Foundation defense contractor, Comey’s former membership on a Clinton Foundation corporate partner’s board, and his surprising financial relationship with his brother Peter Comey, who works at the law firm that does the Clinton Foundation’s taxes.
