Last week was a very bad week for Hillary Clinton. She saw doctors overwhelmingly say her health is an issue in the campaign; she took off her now requisite few days to rest and slandered Donald Trump’s supporters, calling half of them a basket of “deplorables.”
These disasters could not be covered up by her lapdog media and they have damaged her.
And there were two more major developments that could meld into a serious stumbling block for Hillary.
Clinton spoke before a Black Baptist convention and was only able to fill 20% of the seats placed in the room. Worse still, while she was bombing at the convention, Franklin Pierce College was releasing the results of its national poll showing her with a small (within the MOE) overall lead but also revealing some stunning internal numbers.
Donald Trump has climbed to capture 36.2% of the Hispanic vote; and is getting 19.1% of the African American vote. What’s worse for Clinton is she is getting just 73% of the Black vote putting her in dangerous territory for a Democrat.
The last time a Democrat got numbers like this was the 68% John Kennedy won with in 1960.
Since then Democrats have lost with 85% in 1968; 87% in 1972; 83% in 1980; 91% in 1984; 89% in 1988; 90% in 2000 and 88% in 2004.
