Netanyahu Says Radical Islam Spurred Paris Attacks: ‘The Time Has Come for the World to Wake Up’

The Blaze ^ | Schwartz | Sharona

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that it was time for the "world to wake up" and come together to fight terrorism which he asserted is fueled by "radical Islam." "In Israel, as in France, terrorism is terrorism and standing behind it is radical Islam and its desire to destroy its victims. The time has come for the world to wake up and unite in order to defeat terrorism," Netanyahu said at his weekly cabinet meeting, where he also described the attacks as "vicious." On Saturday, he likened the West's fight against radical Islamic terrorism to a civilizational battle against a "plague."
The Israeli leader said, "Militant Islamic terrorism attacks our societies because it wants to destroy our civilization and our values." 'I call on the entire civilized world to unite to defeat the plague of worldwide terrorism. … It's only with this moral clarity that the forces of civilization will defeat the savagery of terrorism," Netanyahu said. Comparing the Paris attacks to Palestinian terrorism against Israel, Netanyahu told his cabinet ministers on Sunday, "The time has come for countries to condemn terrorism against us to the same degree that they condemn terrorism everywhere else in the world."
"We should remember – we are not to blame for the terrorism directed against us, just as the French are not to blame for the terrorism directed against them. It is the terrorists who are to blame for terrorism, not the territories, not the settlements and not any other thing," Netanyahu said, adding that they simply "desire to destroy" Israel. Netanyahu blasted Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas who condemned the Paris attacks but has not also condemned attacks against Israelis...

Muslim mayor: Now is the time to wipe out 50,000 ISIS fighters after Paris attacks!

Daily Express ^ | 16th November 2015 | Tom Batchelor

Ahmed Aboutaleb, the mayor of the Dutch city of Rotterdam, speaking after deadly terror attacks on Paris claimed the lives of 129 people on Friday, argued now was the time to fight.
He said: "I am no military strategist, but as a manager I say 'it is time to wipe out the 40,000 to 50,000 people who have joined ISIS."
The call to arms comes as France launched its biggest ever bombing raid on ISIS in Syria in response to the deadly Paris terror attacks, with 10 fighter jets dropping 20 bombs on ISIS targets.
Strikes against ISIS were crucial, Mr Aboutaleb said, "because these events first and foremost turn against Muslims in Europe.
"All peace-loving Muslims in Europe should distance themselves from this."
Earlier this week, Mr Aboutaleb compared the depravity of ISIS in Iraq and Syria with Nazi Germany and the Holocaust.'

Actual Harm vs. Hurt Feelings on America's College Campuses

Townhall.com ^ | November 16, 2015 | Todd Young

What kind of environment should be tolerated on America's college campuses? Recent high-profile student protests at several schools allege bigotry and intolerance based on words. Free speech is in play. But there is a stark difference between perceived bias and real discrimination.
Factoring in the "urgency" created by 24-hour news coverage, the recent spate of student protests and, in a couple of cases, the ouster of two university presidents and a chancellor, belies the fact that there is an all-too-real civil rights threat on the rise on college campuses.
Organized, coordinated campaigns involving outside groups, some students and even some faculty have fueled a toxic campus environment in which Jews and Christians have been blamed for global and social policy. Ostensibly motivated by geo-political issues involving Israel and the Middle East for the former, and institutionalized bias against traditional expressions of faith for the latter, the efforts have made actual violence and physical harassment a reality in hundreds of unreported or underreported cases in the past decade. These incidents are increasing in frequency.
In short, Jews and Christians are targets at American universities.
This is a far cry from the angry complaints about "marginalized student groups" covered widely in current media. While we must always be on guard against institutionalized racism that may violate protected personal liberty, the new popular culture glorifies outcry for its own sake. It's trendy to be offended by words. Hurt feelings justify lashing out. Concern with what others say, or think, turns quickly to protest, amplified through the megaphone of contemporary "victimization."
Contrast this with actual malice real violence, harassment, and acts that recall the horrors of past atrocities and are occurring with startling regularity on the university campuses we have believed were safe harbors for expression and dissension. These are the trends that should cause legal advocates across the ideological spectrum to take notice. They are violations of constitutional civil liberties.
Over the past decade, college campuses have experienced a rising tide of anti-Semitism, including violent attacks and threatening behavior against Jewish students. In many cases, the acts have come as a result of student-on-student violence fed by the heated rhetoric of pro-Palestinian and Islamist organizations actively pursuing political agendas on campuses, with Jewish students and Israel regularly compared to Nazis.
Likewise, Christians on college campuses have increasingly become the focus of overt, hostile behavior by some academics and various student organizations supported by national (and international) sources. Instances of targeting have become commonplace on many large American campuses.
Recent Supreme Court decisions granting more latitude for colleges to police Christian student groups led Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito to warn in a minority opinion that wider police powers over beliefs unique to Christians on college campuses will become a "weapon" used against Christian organizations and students. Christian Legal Society v. Martinez, 561 U.S. 661 (2010).
Compounding the situation, many prominent universities have failed to adequately enforce legal policies designed to protect students against religious and ethnic harassment. A number of universities have no policy at all, according to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) responses received by our office.
Further, the current U.S. Department of Education has failed to vigorously enforce civil rights anti-harassment laws involving colleges and universities that receive federal funding, allowing a dangerous atmosphere of mistrust, hate and violence to fester against Jewish and Christian students on many campuses. Despite clear prohibitions against various forms of discrimination under Title IV of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, the lack of investigation and, where necessary, enforcement against institutions receiving federal funding is startling.
To be sure, the natural tension between the limits of free speech and the protection of civil liberties against real discrimination creates a balancing act under the Constitution. To weigh too far in one direction risks destroying the other.
But the difference between hurt feelings and emotional offense and the increasingly violent targeting of specific religious and ethnic groups and individuals on college campuses is the difference between trendy policy and the law. It is the law that is supposed to protect.

Ten Ways to Avoid Being Killed In A Terrorist Attack

Bearing Arms ^ | 11/15/2015 | Brent Wheat

In light of Friday's terrorist attacks, it seems only a matter of time before similar incidents occur in the U.S. The question many people are asking is "What would I do if suddenly in a situation like Paris??" To help answer that concern, Bearing Arms will offer a list of ten things you can do to avoid becoming a casualty in the "War on Terror."
1.Realize it WILL happen here : This isn't a paranoid statement: it is a simple unpleasant fact based upon intelligence gathering efforts, expert opinion, and common sense. At some point, it is likely there will be a coordinated, Paris type attack in the U.S. on schools, shopping malls, sporting events, or other mass gathering areas. And, don't think it would happen only in New York, Chicago or Los Angeles because what would be better to create fear (the ultimate goal of terrorist action) than by killing dozens or hundreds of people at a school in rural Mississippi or a shopping mall in Montana?
2.Always carry a concealed firearm where legal : Carrying a firearm is a lifestyle habit, not something you should do only occasionally or when you feel it is likely there will be trouble. Odds are, you won't correctly guess the date, time and place of life threatening violence. A concealed firearm in the hands of a responsible and trained individual is statistically one of the best tools available to stop mass killings.
3.Improvised weapons are within reach : If you cannot or choose not to carry a firearm, there are always effective weapons within your immediate area so learn to use them. Whenever unarmed in a public area, make it a habit (or game) to choose three nearby items that would make a good weapon if things turn dire.
4.Know where exits are located : Many people die during all types of emergencies because they don't know where exits are located. This should be the first thing you do, above all else, whenever situated in a public place.
5.Act decisively : The "immediate action drill" during an attack is either fight or flee. Don't mill around, waiting for instruction or to gain a better idea of what is happening. Flee the area when you have an opportunity or instantly attack a threat if one presents itself. The old chestnut is still true: "To Ponder is to Perish."
6.Be alert to people and unusual circumstances : Most folks wouldn't see a large pink gorilla wandering down the hallway and certainly won't see a suspicious individual fiddling with wires under a long trench coat on a hot day. You don't have to glare at every passerby but simply maintain a loose focus for unusual patterns of activity within your surroundings. This is also known as "Maintaining Condition Yellow."
7."If you see something, say something." : Cops everywhere have stories of witnesses who said after a crime, 'I wasn't sure what was going on and I didn't want to make a big deal out of it.' If you see people or objects that look suspicious, notify the authorities immediately. There is no punishment for being mistaken but there are huge consequences to being correct but not sharing the information.
8.There is one more bomb/attack/assailant: Experience has shown that attackers are increasingly planning not only their initially assault, but follow up actions such as secondary or even tertiary explosives and attackers. Such actions not only increase the "shock and awe" of the incident but cause additional carnage and damage the emergency response system.
9.Have a basic understanding of trauma medical care: in the aftermath of a bombing or shooting incident, many people will be bleeding to death and you have two or three minutes to save lives. This means you need to understand mass-casualty triage principals and some basic tactical combat casualty care (TCCC) techniques. Be ready to provide aid such as tourniquets, spinal immobilization and safe patient evacuation from threatening circumstances. (See related article: Stop the Bleed)
10.Trust your intuition : If something 'feels' dangerous or simply makes you uneasy, trust your inner voices. This inner dialog might be wrong, but then again, you may have subconsciously picked up subtle environmental clues that you "can't quite put your finger on," but are real nonetheless. At the very least, move to a safer position or relocate to where you can more easily escape a potential kill zone.
It is not hyperbole to state that we are all now terrorism responders because the avowed goal of Daesh and other such groups is to bring death and destruction to Mainstreet U.S.A. However, with planning and preparation individual citizens can sometimes prevent, often shorten and effectively respond to mass killing incidents.
The "Tango's" are ready and merely waiting. Are you likewise?

Indy's Papa Roux offers firearms training to employees

wthr ^ | Nov 15, 2015 | Naomi Pescovitz

INDIANAPOLIS - An east side restaurant owner made international headlines last month when, after a robbery, he started offering 25 percent discounts to customers with licenses to carry a handgun.

Papa Roux Cajun restaurant made good on that promise and this weekend, they are taking it a step further.

Papa Roux employees spent Sunday in the classroom at the Eagle Creek Firearms Training Facility. The firearms safety course was taught by Guy Relford, attorney and President of Tactical Firearms Training.

"With the increased awareness of the violence and just the fact that I am encouraging responsible responses to it, I figured the entire crew of Papa Roux should probably receive firearms safety training, including when and how to get involved, but more importantly when and how to not get involved," said Papa Roux Owner Art Bouvier.

One of the students and members of the "Roux Crew" was working the register last month when a man came in, said he had a gun, and got away with tip money.
"I was scared as hell when that happened and if I knew that I was trained with a gun, I would be so much more ready to encounter people that threaten your life," said Papa Roux employee Alex Verbarg.

The four-hour training session included two hours of classroom instruction and two hours in the range. The course was voluntary for employees, though most decided to participate.
"I had some employees that were emotionally held hostage by the situation. And between the knowledge that the community has our back, but I think more than that, the knowledge that maybe we are not perceived as an easy target, it has everyone feeling a little better. We don't expect a repeat performance," Bouvier said.
The discount prompted considerable responses online on both sides of the issue. One commenter said she would never go to the restaurant again. Still, the discount has boosted business.
"I've had people come in, know that they have the discount, show that their permit and not take the 25 percent off. Just because they like what Papa's doing," Verbarg said.
Bouvier hopes the training will also boost confidence.
"This doesn't mean that I am arming them, I am absolutely not. But you can be educated and aware without actually being part of it," Bouvier said.

Wake Up America: Syrian Refugees Arrive in New Orleans VIDEO (note all the single fighting age men)

Heads up America, Syrian refugees have arrived and they are here to stay.
Your State Department funds are being well invested in one-way tickets for Syrian refugees to New Orleans, Louisiana.
FOX 8 WVUE New Orleans News, Weather, Sports, Social
Former FBI Special Agent-In-Charge Jim Bernazzani gave his opinion on the matter. "If I was in charge of ISIL, logistically I'd take advantage of this situation and put my people in, into the United States," he said.
Governor Bobby Jindal expressed his concerns to the president by writing a letter to the executive office. "As with former immigration crises and federal relocation policy, Louisiana has been kept in the dark about those seeking refuge in the state and it is irresponsible and severely disconcerting to place individuals, who may have ties to ISIS, in a state without the state's knowledge or involvement," he wrote.
With the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday, maybe we should rethink our strategy of bringing Syrians to America and decide whether or not it puts American lives at a risk.

Obama Lackey Ben Rhodes Spreads Lies About Vetting Syrian Refugees on Sunday News Talk Shows

PJ Media ^ | November 15, 2015 | Patrick Poole

In the wake of Friday's horrific terror attacks in Paris, Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes was dispatched to the Sunday morning talk shows to spin his boss' claim the previous day that the ISIS threat had been "contained."
But he was also asked about the ability of the Obama administration to properly vet a wave of 10,000 Syrian refugees announced in September in light of reports that one or more of the Paris terrorists had entered and transited the EU as a Syrian refugee.
And yet Rhodes' response that measures to properly vet the Syrian refugees are in place flatly contradicts the recent sworn congressional testimony of FBI officials.
Rhodes appeared on CNN's State of the Union with Jake Tapper. It brought this exchange :
TAPPER: I think there is a question about how good this intelligence apparatus is, Christiane Amanpour -- Christiane Amanpour reporting this morning that at least one of the terrorists, according to French authorities, seems to have smuggled himself into Europe by embedding with refugees.
Ben, are you confident enough in our vetting process as the United States brings Syrian refugees into our country to pledge that this will never happen here?
RHODES: Well, first of all, Jake, the threat of foreign fighters has been front and center from the very beginning of this counter-ISIL campaign. We have made that a focus, so that we're working with countries to share information, to improve their laws and authorities to be able to monitor and detain people.
And we're going to continue to do that. That will be a focus of discussion here in Turkey. With respect to refugees, we have the most extensive security vetting that we have ever had to deal with Syrian refugees coming into the United States that involves not just the Department of Homeland Security and the State Department, but also our intelligence community, the National Counterterrorism Center, so that anybody who comes to the United States, we are carefully vetting against all of our information.
And let's not forget, Jake, that some of these people are people who have suffered the horrors of war. They're women. They're orphans. They're children who have suffered at the hands of ISIL. We cannot close our doors to these people. We can focus on keeping terrorists out of the United States while having an open door to people who deserve a safe haven.
And when asked by Chuck Todd of NBC's Meet the Press about whether the developments in Paris had given President Obama pause on admitting more Syrian refugees, Rhodes replied:
No, Chuck. We have very extensive screening procedures for all Syrian refugees who come to the United States. There is a very careful vetting process that including our terrorism community, our Department of Homeland Security. Let's remember, Chuck, we're also dealing with people who suffer the horrors of war. Women and children, orphans. We can't just shut our doors to those people. We need to do our part to take refugees in need.
But as I reported here two weeks ago at PJ Media, FBI Director Robert Comey testified before the House Judiciary Committee that vetting Syrian refugees will be "challenging" when asked by Rep. Louie Gohmert about the quality of intelligence and information that exists on Syrians:
Gohmert: Well, without a good fingerprint database, without good identification, how can you be sure that anyone is who they say they are if they don't have fingerprints to go against?
Comey: The only thing we can query is information that we have. So, if we have no information on someone, they've never crossed our radar screen, they've never been a ripple in the pond, there will be no record of them there and so it will be challenging.
Those concerns echo congressional testimony given earlier this year by FBI Assistant Director Michael Steinbach to the House Homeland Security Committee about the quality of information available on anyone coming out of Syria:
The concern in Syria is that we don't have systems in places on the ground to collect information to vet. You're talking about a country that is a failed state, that does not have any infrastructure, so to speak. So all of the dataset, the police, the intel services that normally you would go to to seek information doesn't exist.
The FBI director was also asked by Rep. Gohmert during his testimony last month about the database the U.S. government maintained to screen Iraqi refugees, including an IED fingerprint database in addition to other intelligence obtained by U.S. forces and the Iraqi government -- considerably more extensive than anything the National Counterterrorism Center has for Syria.
And yet despite the extensive database screening Iraqi refugees, U.S. authorities have admitted that possibly dozens of terrorists were admitted into the U.S. under that program, including two Iraqi terrorists living in Bowling Green, Kentucky, who were convicted of attempting to send weapons and money to Iraqi terrorists.
Comey also said during a speech last month that the FBI has 900 active investigations on suspected ISIS supporters and other extremists.

Well, Here's One Paris Neighborhood That Isn't Angry At ISIS

Townhall.com ^ | November 15, 2015 | Matt Vespa

What is it with people on the left that brings them to the conclusion that the Islamic State isn't evil, let alone be angry with the perpetrators of the horrific Paris attacks last Friday? In the 11th Arrondissement, or administrative district, of Paris, some residents aren't angry with ISIS, nor do they consider them evil (via Haaretz):

A group of friends was standing near the candles that had been lit at the foot of the monument at the square, trying to find out if the waiter that had served them at La Belle Equipe, one of the restaurants attacked in the 11th arrondissement, had been killed.

But they aren't angry, at least not at the perpetrators. "They're stupid, but they aren't evil," their friend Sabrina, an administrative worker in one of the theaters in the 11th arrondissement, said. "They are victims of a system that excluded them from society, that's why they felt this doesn't belong to them and they could attack. There are those who live here in alienation, and we are all to blame for this alienation."

"After the attacks in January, they said we should unite, but that essentially meant that we should be together and not think independently," says Clemens Mama, a teacher. "They don't want us to think that maybe it's connected to the policies of our government and of the United States in the Middle East." No, she wasn't surprised that the attackers apparently included people who were born and raised in France. "These are people the government gave up on, and you have to ask why," she said.

No one wanted to talk about Islamists or the Islamic State, even after it took responsibility for the attacks and French President Francois Hollande announced that the group was behind them. "Daesh is so dangerous to France," said Johann Crispel, a business student at a college near one of the restaurants that was attacked, using the Arabic acronym for the Islamic State and wrinkling his nose as he enunciated it. "Perhaps it'’s correct to bomb them in the name of democracy and freedom, but it brought the war in Syria to us in France. I don't think it's worth it."

It was hard to find anyone at this gathering who would say a bad word about the attackers, and expressions of patriotism were restrained. Perhaps it should be no surprise in this part of town. Most residents of the 11th arrondissement are what the French call "bobo," bohemian and bourgeois, middle-class academics in their 30s and 40s with clearly leftist leanings.

Yes, airstrikes was one of ISIS' insane grievances with the French that prompted this attack, but so was the fact that they viewed Paris as the capital of abomination and perversion. These folks will find any reason to attack the infidels, and, of course, this action was done to place pressure on the French government to stop the airstrikes in Syria and to inject fear that no one is safe until these actions are taken.

Also, alienation is a reason to commit terrorist acts that claims the lives of innocent people? I never knew the attendees inside the Bataclan Concert Hall were agents of this system, I guess they all deserved it or something, which appears to be the mindset of these "bobos." Nothing excuses terrorist actions. Nothing legitimizes it. Also, do these people not know what they're doing to the women in their territory?
This afternoon, France responded to this horrific attack by bombing ISIS military targets in their capital of Raqqa in northern Syria.

ISIS 'a cancer that metastasized' under Obama's watch

Washington Examiner ^ | 11/15/15 | Daniel Chaitin

Mitt Romney is blaming President Obama for "doing the minimum" to fight the Islamic State.

In an op-ed published Sunday, the 2012 Republican presidential candidate criticized Obama for having said "we have contained" the Islamic State in an interview with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos one day before a series of attacks hit Paris, for which the Islamic State claimed responsibility. Romney said the U.S. needs to "eradicate" the Islamic State, not contain it.

"The president was right when he called the Islamic State a cancer," Romney said, "but it is a cancer that metastasized on his watch. Paris is proof."
The U.S. year-long airstrike campaign has not been sufficient, Romney added, and called for military experts from the U.S. and NATO to create a comprehensive strategy that would incorporate the forces of the Kurds, Turks, Saudis, Egyptians and Jordanians.
His remarks come as France launched airstrikes against the Islamic State on Sunday, carried out in coordination with U.S. forces, in retaliation for the terror attacks in Paris that left 127 dead and over 350 injured.

Romney decried the Islamic State's propaganda campaign and urged Muslim nations to come together and "immediately engage in a sustained global campaign to promote tolerance and eschew violence."

Romney also addressed the potential threat of the stream of refugees escaping conflicts in the Middle East, one day after a Greek official announced that a Syrian passport was reportedly found near the body of one of the gunmen responsible for the Paris attacks. A Greek official announced that the passport was processed on a Greek island in March.

"The West must stop the insanity of welcoming hundreds of thousands of people from the Middle East without knowing who exactly they are," Romney said.

"Only America can lead this war, and that leadership means being willing to devote whatever resources are required to win — even boots on the ground," Romney continued. "We have the best-equipped and most dedicated military for good reason. The president must stop trying to placate his political base by saying what he won't do and tell Americans what he will do."

America, Arm Yourselves, And Prepare For The Coming Muslim Invasion

Now The End Begins ^ | November 15, 2015 | by Geoffrey Grider

"It is clear now that together with the victims of Islamo-fascism in the Middle East that come as refugees, extreme elements are crossing to Europe," said Greek Defence Minister Panos Kammenos today after an emergency meeting with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras. Talk about an "a-ha!" moment, but sadly for the nearly 500 dead and wounded from yesterday, it arrived a tad too late.
Ask not what America can do for you, rather, prepare for the coming Muslim invasion
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Passed by Congress September 25, 1789. Ratified December 15, 1791.
Today we mourn with the people of France as they attempt to sift through the heartbreak of yesterday’s Islamic attack which left in the final count 129 souls dead and 352 hurt. But as we sorrow, we as Americans also view what happened not as an isolated incident, but as a harbinger of what is to come soon within our own borders. French police this afternoon made the connection that at least two of the gunmen were Muslim migrants from Syria who had registered in Greece.
“It is clear now that together with the victims of Islamo-fascism in the Middle East that come as refugees, extreme elements are crossing to Europe,” said Greek Defence Minister Panos Kammenos today after an emergency meeting with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras. Talk about an “a-ha!” moment, but sadly for the nearly 500 dead and wounded from yesterday, it arrived a tad too late.
Here at NTEB, we have warned you over, and over, and over again that Obama is filling America with the very same type of Muslim migrants who killed all those people yesterday. What you watched unfold in real-time last night in Paris, France is the exact same thing that is going to be happening in Paris, Texas. It is not speculation, it is a guarantee. The only thing that might prevent it from happening is if Donald Trump is elected as our next president, but regardless, we need to understand that there is a reason why our founding fathers gave us a Second Amendment. It has nothing to do with the “right to go hunting”, skeet shooting or any other such nonsense spouted by the liberals. The Second Amendment is the right of every American citizen to legally possess firearms to protect ourselves from all those who wish to do us harm, foreign and domestic.
You know what the Muslim terrorists knew when they attacked yesterday? They knew that they would be met with little or no resistance at least at the start because the French government and the European Union both impose extraordinarily strict restrictions on firearm possession by civilians. Europe, like all liberal societies, has spent years disarming the citizenry and as a result when terror attacks happen, the good people of the European Union are little more than sitting ducks used as target practice by the Muslims. Americans need to be paying very close attention to this and act accordingly.
Up until now, I have not felt the need to own a gun or get concealed weapons license. Yesterday’s events in Paris changed all that for me. Obama is doubling down on his plan to flood America with Muslim migrants, and like in France, many of them will be ISIS terrorists. One day, you will be having coffee at the local Dunkin Donuts, or watching your kid playing soccer, and you will hear the “pop-pop-pop” of semi-automatic fire and watch as people around fall down around you screaming. Someone will start shouting “Allahu Akbar!, Allahu Akbar!”, and the blood will run in the streets. Your blood, and my blood if we allow it.
I am not calling for revolution or riots in the street, no, nothing like that. What I am calling for is the exercise of our Constitutionally-guaranteed right found within the Second Amendment to be able to defend ourselves when the moment arises. But in order to defend yourself when it all starts to go down, you have to have previously prepared to do so.
America, the handwriting is certainly on the wall, and now is the time. What happened in France will happen here, Obama’s immigration policies make a Muslim invasion a certainty. You owe it to your loved ones to be able to defend them when the attacks happen. Like it or not, we are at war with Islam, the only question is who will win. Are you counting on your government to keep you safe? So were the people in France yesterday.
The Muslims are coming, and in fact are here already. It’s time to get prepared. I will write a series on my experience at the gun range.

Gun Owners of America: Time to Let Gun Grabbers Know We Will Not Comply

Breitbart ^ | 11/15/2015 | AWR Hawkins

On November 12, CBS NEWS reported that “White House lawyers” are examining gun laws to find an avenue where President Obama can use executive action to go around Congress and expand background checks to cover private gun sales.
Obama and the attorneys are trying to determine a threshold that private gun owners who sell and trade guns would cross in order to be treated like licensed gun dealers. Once they cross that threshold—which NBC News reported might be “50 or 100 guns a year”—private citizens would be required to go through a licensed dealer and obtain a background check in order to sell a gun to a neighbor, co-worker, or parent. In other words, the private gun sales Americans have conducted since 1791 would be done away.
Guns Owners of America’s (GOA) executive director Larry Pratt recently talked to Breitbart News about this behind-the-scenes maneuver and said it is past time for GOP leaders in Congress to stand up in clear opposition to Obama’s plans. He also suggested it may be time for law-abiding citizens to simply let it be known that they will not comply, much like citizens in Washington state did after Michael Bloomberg and other one-percenters doled over millions upon millions of dollars to expand background checks to private gun sales in that state.
Pratt said:

How Obama is Bankrolling a Non-Stop Protest Against Invented Outrage

The New York Post ^ | Saturday, November 14, 2015 | Paul Sperry

Barack Obama's presidency has been pockmarked by rioting, looting and protests. That's no coincidence. It's what the former community organizer sought from Day One. And it's just going to get worse before he leaves office.
The senseless protests we're seeing break out on the campuses of the University of Missouri, Yale and other colleges, as well as on bridges and highway overpasses and outside police stations, are precisely the kind of thing Obama was trained to organize while attending leftist agitation schools founded by Chicago communist Saul Alinsky. He learned to a fare-thee-well how to "rub raw the sores of discontent."
Now Obama is returning the favor of his Alinsky masters, training and cloning an army of social justice bullies to carry on his revolution to "fundamentally transform America." He's doing it mainly through a little-known but well-funded group called Organizing for Action, or OFA, which will outlast his administration.
OFA, formerly Obama for America, has trained more than 10,000 leftist organizers, who, in turn, are training more than 2 million youths in Alinsky street tactics.
The leftist group, which recently registered as a 501c4 nonprofit eligible for unlimited contributions, holds regular "organizing summits" on college campuses.
Through social media, they mobilize flash mobs against "biased cops," "climate-change deniers," "Wall Street predators" and "gun extremists." They hold rallies against conservative foes of gay marriage, LGBT rights, abortion and amnesty for illegal immigrants.
In addition, Obama has trained hundreds of thousands of junior agitators through AmeriCorps, a Clinton youth program he's dramatically expanded, and through My Brother's Keeper, the "racial justice" initiative he launched in the wake of the 2012 death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin. My Brother's Keeper agitates for "school discipline reform" -- that is, touchy-feely alternatives to suspensions and expulsions -- and other measures to "improve outcomes for...

Madonna Wrong To Think Terrorists Will Stop By Giving Them “Dignity And Respect And "Love Unconditionally!

Gossip Cop ^ | By Gossip Cop Staff | 2:10 pm, November 15th, 2015

Madonna stopped her Saturday concert in Stockholm, Sweden to pay tribute those who died in the “tragic killings” and “assassinations” in Paris on Friday night, but after crying for the victims and their families, she wrongly told the audience at the Tele2 Arena that while people do “atrocious, degrading and unforgivable things” to one another, among the reasons for these senseless acts of violence is that we don’t treat “every human being with dignity and respect.” Her view of terrorists, namely ISIS, is naive and downright foolish. See Madonna’s speech below.
Madonna started off in the right direction when she paused her performance and said, “I feel torn. Like, why am I up here dancing and having fun when people are crying over the loss of their loved ones,” before adding in tears, “However, that is exactly what these people want to do. They want to shut us up. They want to silence us. And we won’t let them. We will never let them!”
The singer, who’s set to perform in Paris on December 9, then said, “I was going to cancel my show tonight but then I thought to myself, ‘Why should I give that to them? Why should I allow them to stop me and to stop us from enjoying freedom?'” Before veering off course, Madonna rightly continued, “All of the places where people were killed were places where people were having fun. People were enjoying themselves, eating in restaurants, dancing, singing, watching a soccer match. These are freedoms that we take for granted, of course, and we must not but they’re freedoms that we deserve. We work hard and we deserve to have fun, and there is no one in this world that should have the right to stop us from doing what we love.”
But after making a number of valid points, Madonna blew it big time. She first acknowledged, “There are people who have no respect for human life, and there are people that do atrocious, degrading and unforgivable things to other human beings, but we will never ever, ever change this world that we live in if we do not change ourselves, if we do not change the way that we treat one another on a daily basis.” Madonna then misguidedly added, “We must start treating every human being with dignity and respect, and this the only thing that will change the world… Only love will change the world, but it’s very hard to love unconditionally, and it’s very hard to love that which we do not understand or that which is different than we are, but we have to or this will go on and on forever.”
While in broad brushstrokes, there’s no argument that spreading love and treating one another with “dignity and respect” will make for a better planet, but ISIS doesn’t play by those rules. ISIS detests our way of life. ISIS wants to wreak havoc of the Western world.
Does Madonna really think if we gave ISIS “love unconditionally” they would no longer perpetrate horrific acts of violence? And can Madonna really “love unconditionally” a group that beheads, throws over the sides of building, and stones to death men for being gay?
There was no act of love or kindness nor any show of dignity or respect that could have been done by the government of France or the 129 people who were murdered that would have changed ISIS’s resolve to kill and injure as many innocent people as possible. Perhaps those who are terrorized can learn to “love unconditionally,” but it will never sway the terrorists’ hate.
Following her mostly well-intentioned speech, Madonna then launched into her 1989 hit “Like A Prayer.” Sadly, though, it will take more than dignity, respect, love or even prayer to stop ISIS.

Starving cancer: Dominic D'Agostino at TEDxTampaBay

YouTube ^ | Dec 4, 2013 | TEDx Talks

Dr. D'Agostino is an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida College Of Medicine, Molecular Pharmacology & Physiology where he develops and tests metabolic therapies, including alternative energy substrates and ketogenic agents for neurological disorders, cancer and wound healing. While studying the effects of gasses on the brains of Navy Seal divers, he developed an approach for metabolically starving cancer cells through diet and compressed oxygen, replacing chemotherapy, surgery, or radiation.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

DEAR FRANCE: Your Trendy PC Stance With Islam Is Killing You... Literally (TAKE NOTE AMERICA)

Townhall.com ^ | November 16, 2015 | Doug Giles

Here's a question I'd like to put to the doe-eyed, Co-Exist, "poor Syrian/Muslim refugee" French folks and other easily deceived dupes who slurped down that politically correct bouillabaisse of one-hundred-percent, uncut, irrational, will/has never turned out well bullshit: How'd that kum-ba-yah, multi-culti mindset work out for you?

Not so well, eh?

Oui?

Oui.

Garsh, who'd a thunk that evil ISIS operatives, with mass murderous wet-dreams, would try to scam their way into France under the guise of being persecuted, California-Dreamin', nanny-goat-bearded good guys?

I'll tell you who would've "thunk" it: pretty much everyone with a lick of common sense, that's who.

Helen Keller could've have seen that one coming.

Dear God, some of you are slow on the uptick. Please forgive them, Lord.

Now, for those of you who bought the altruistic bovine scatology regarding the Hello-Kitty refugees, please go find a sledge-hammer and hit yourself in the face with it for aiding and abetting this atrocity.

In addition, after crashing your mug, go down to the nearest cafe order a triple espresso down it after it cools and then please wake the hashtag up because your We-Are-The-World acid trip is getting people needlessly slaughtered.

Yes, I said it. Your political correctness opened the door, and thereby helped cause, this Parisian catastrophe with your oh-so-trendy, big-hearted and empty-headed belief that: "if we embrace Islam then they'll chill out and play parcheesi with us.”

Well, you were dead wrong again. Operative word: dead.

This is what political correctness has yielded up, namely: nations full of retards led by leaders that think they're morally superior by embracing their own death.

Here's reality, folks: Islam makes things suck everywhere it goes.

For instance: They hate our freedoms, our Constitution, our customs, our flag, our various religions, our atheists, our women, the gays; they'd stone Bruce Jenner, they despise our music, they don't like bacon or bikinis and, truth be told, they'd love nothing more than to take over Western Civilization and make it bow in submission to the dictates of a 7th century pedophile who heard voices. That's Islam in a nutshell. They radically and fundamentally hate us. So if what I just described sounds peachy with you, and for your posterity, then inject some Muslims into your national mix and give it about 30-40 years to simmer.

Oh, and for those still playing Ring-Around-The-Rosie and blathering about how the "moderate Muslims" are mondo-jovial peeps, please note we're not hearing too much from them condemning the massacre in Paris; or their calling for European or American leaders to lock down our respective borders because there are tens-of-thousands of crazy SOBs amongst the "poor refugees."

I think Europe and the USA should followJapan's lead and make our countries insanely hard to get into.

Lastly, here's my prediction regarding the French: I bet they, starting with Hollande, curl back up into the fetal position. I bet they go back into PC mode with Muslims. And I bet our leaders, especially on the Left, do so as well.

Yep, I bet we blind ourselves all over again to Islam being an implacable enemy inside our borders; and that we will not truly wake up until God forbid Islam smacks the West so hard, killing way more than they did on 9/11, that finally our fairy tale about Islam being yummy will simply not cotton with reality.
Hopefully, when that happens, we'll have leaders with a steel will who will plow through the residual cruel remains of political correctness and give Islam the apocalypse it says it wants.

A Liar to the Corps!

Another lean, green knee-slapper from Lady Leatherneck.

Hillary Clinton tried to become a Marine? Right. That was the week after Harry Reid tried to become a Rockette.

Had the Marines accepted her, perhaps her training would have been helpful when her plane came under sniper fire while landing in Bosnia in 1996.
Let me see now. As I understand it, what we’re called on to believe is that a highly employable young Yale Law School graduate, who had led teach-ins against the Vietnam War in college, had worked on the campaigns of Gene McCarthy and George McGovern, and who was engaged to a draft-dodger seeking to become the attorney general of his state, really just wanted to be a lean, green, fighting machine.
Pull the other one, Hillary.
Incredibly, and Just in time for Veteran’s Day, Hillary reprised the remarkable story about how she tried to enlist in the Marines in 1975 while she was living in Arkansas but had not yet married Billy-Bob. It goes in this wise: She told the recruiter in Little Rock that she wanted to be part of the few, the proud. But the stout lad looked her up and down and then asked how old she was, and, her story goes, said: “You’re too old, you can’t see, and you’re a woman. Maybe the dogs (the Army) will take you.”
