NEVER FORGIVE A TRAITOR...Remember...Jane Fonda

Jane Fonda was on 3 times this week talking about her new book. . . And how good she feels in her 70's. . . She still does not know what she did wrong. . . Her book just may not make the bestseller list if more people knew.
Barbara Walters said : Thank you all. Many died in Vietnam for our freedoms. I did not like Jane Fonda then and I don't like her now. She can lead her present life the way she wants and perhaps SHE can forget the past, but we DO NOT have to stand by without comment and see her "honored" as a "Woman of the Century."
For those who served and/or died. . .
And now President Obama wants to honor her!!!!
In Memory of Lt. C. Thomsen Wieland, who spent 100 days at the Hanoi Hilton [infamous North Vietnam prison] --
This is for all the kids born in the 70's and after who do not remember, and didn't have to bear the burden that our fathers, mothers and older brothers and sisters had to bear.
Jane Fonda is being honored as one of the "100 Women of the Century."
Barbara Walters writes: Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still countless others have never known how Ms. Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country, but specific men who served and sacrificed during the Vietnam War.
The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot. The pilot's name is Jerry Driscoll, a River Rat. In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF Survival School was a POW in Ho LoPrison, the "Hanoi Hilton."
Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell, cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ's, he was ordered to describe for a visiting American "peace activist" the "lenient and humane treatment" he'd received.
He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and was dragged away. During the subsequent beating, he fell forward onto the camp commandant 's feet, which sent that officer berserk.
In 1978, the Air Force Colonel still suffered from double vision (which permanently ended his flying career) from the Commandant's frenzied application of a wooden baton.
From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the 47FW/DO (F-4E's). He spent 6 years in the "Hanoi Hilton". . . The first three of which his family only knew he was "missing in action." His wife lived on faith that he was still alive. His group, too, got the cleaned-up, fed and clothed routine in preparation for a "peace delegation" visit.
They, however, had time and devised a plan to get word to the world that they were alive and still survived. Each man secreted a tiny piece of paper, with his Social Security Number on it, in the palm of his hand. When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each man's hand and asking little encouraging snippets like: "Aren't you sorry you bombed babies?" and "Are you grateful for the humane treatment from your benevolent captors?" Believing this HAD to be an act, they each palmed her their sliver of paper.
She took them all without missing a beat. . . At the end of the line and once the camera stopped rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs, she turned to the officer in charge and handed him all the little pieces of paper... Three men died from the subsequent beatings. Colonel Carrigan was almost number four but he survived, which is the only reason we know of her actions that day.
I was a civilian economic development adviser in Vietnam, and was captured by the North Vietnamese communists in South Vietnam in 1968, and held prisoner for over 5 years.
I spent 27 months in solitary confinement; one year in a cage in Cambodia; and one year in a 'black box' in Hanoi. My North Vietnamese captors deliberately poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a nurse in a leprosarium in Banme Thuot, South Vietnam, whom I buried in the jungle near the Cambodian border. At one time, I weighed only about 90 lbs. (My normal weight is 170 lbs.)
We were Jane Fonda's "war criminals."
When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi, I was asked by the camp communist political officer if I would be willing to meet with her. I said yes, for I wanted to tell her about the real treatment we POWs received. . . and how different it was from the treatment purported by the North Vietnamese, and parroted by her as "humane and lenient."
Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky floor on my knees, with my arms outstretched with a large steel weight placed on my hands, and beaten with a bamboo cane.
I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda soon after I was released. I asked her if she would be willing to debate me on TV. She never did answer me.
These first-hand experiences do not exemplify someone who should be honored as part of "100 Years of Great Women." Lest we forget. . . "100 Years of Great Women" should never include a traitor whose hands are covered with the blood of so many patriots.
There are few things I have strong visceral reactions to, but Hanoi Jane's participation in blatant treason, is one of them. Please take the time to forward to as many people as you possibly can. It will eventually end up on her computer, and she needs to know that we will never forget.

PLEASE HELP BY SENDING THIS TO EVERYONE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK. IF ENOUGH PEOPLE SEE THIS MAYBE HER STATUS WILL CHANGE. A lot of people are too young to remember the Jane Fonda debacle and may wonder why Obama is honoring her. Here is why he shouldn’t.

Deportations down 42% under ‘deporter in chief’

The Washington Times ^ | October 13, 2015 | Jennifer Harper

Those who once called President Obama the “deporter in chief” may want to rethink the title. Deportations, including removal of criminals, “continue to plummet under Obama,” according to a new Federation for American Immigration Reform analysis that reports deportations of illegal immigrants are at the lowest levels since 2006 — down 42 percent in the past three years alone.
“In the fiscal year ending September 30, just 231,000 illegal aliens were removed from the United States. But it’s not just overall deportation numbers that are declining. The Department of Homeland Security deported fewer convicted criminals in FY 2015, just 136,700, despite the Obama administration’s prioritization on removal of criminal aliens,” the group notes.
“With virtually no chance of Congress enacting a massive illegal alien amnesty while Obama is in office, and his own executive amnesty programs stalled in the courts, the administration has simply dropped any pretense of enforcing immigration law. We know that Obama has never been the ‘deporter-in-chief,’ as has been claimed,” the report says. “On an annual basis, his administration has removed the fewest illegal aliens since the Ford administration. In previous years, the administration has inflated their deportation numbers by counting Mexicans who were caught entering the country illegally and returned as deportations — something that had not been done in the past.”

There’s a Way to Stop Mass Shootings, and You Won’t Like It.

Rob Myers ^ | October 6, 2015 | Rob Myers

There’s a Way to Stop Mass Shootings, and You Won’t Like It.
That’s right. You’re not going to like it because it’s going to require you to do something personally, as opposed to shouting for the government, or anyone to “do something!”
You ready? Here it is:
“Notice those around you who seem isolated, and engage them.”
If every one of us did this we’d have a culture that was deeply committed to ensuring no one was left lonely. And make no mistake, as I’ve written before loneliness is what causes these shooters to lash out. People with solid connections to other people don’t indiscriminately fire guns at strangers.
I know what you’re thinking. That’s never going to work because no one is going to make the effort to connect with the strange kid sitting by himself at lunch each day. No one is going to reach out to the gawky, awkward guy at work and ask him about his weekend.
You’re probably right and that’s an absolute shame.
Because I can tell you the things that aren’t going to work in this country when it comes to stopping these heinous acts. But they seem to be all anyone says, when inevitably, another person comes forward to inflict their tortured pain on innocent people.View Post
  1. Ban All Guns! – Due to the reading of the 2nd amendment and the precedents established by recent Supreme Court cases, this isn’t going anywhere. You’d need an amendment to the Constitution and there will NEVER be 30+ states willing to overturn it. Never mind the multitude of good reasons for its existence, no amount of outrage will overturn it so let’s just stop.
  2. Ban All Guns! (pt. 2) – Assuming you actually could overturn the 2nd and outlaw every firearm in the country, then you’d have to go out and get them. Famously, there are more guns than people in the U.S. You couldn’t come close to collecting them all. Further, if Prohibition and the War on Drugs have taught us anything it’s that those intent on breaking the law are going to do just that. Laws be damned.
  3. Ban Scary Guns Like the AR-15! – Fully auto weapons are already banned*. Most of these shootings occur with a handgun, plain and simple, and these aren’t going anywhere. Murder is illegal, and that doesn’t seem to stop these individuals from performing these atrocious acts. Do you think if there was a ban on shotguns that would stop them?
  4. Keep Them Out of the Hands of Bad People! – Felons are prohibited from owing a firearm already. But let’s not forget, the overwhelming majority of these mass shootings aren’t done by criminals and their guns were obtained legally. How can you know who is going to do something like this? You can’t.
  5. Do Something About Mental Health! – Cool. Yeah. So, like, free psychologists visits for everyone? Even if you could, the people that have done this haven’t been mentally ill, by and large. And, let’s not forget that medical records are private. Would you endorse mandatory psych screening for everyone and those records being sent to the government? Maybe just those who wish to own a gun? Remember, not every person who has engaged in a mass shooting has owned the gun they performed the act with. This is a complete non-starter of an issue with an insane price tag that does nothing to actually keep a person committed to violence from putting their hands on a gun.
  6. Do… SOMETHING! – Gotcha. What do you want to do? “SOMETHING!” Ok, what do you have in mind? “I DON’T KNOW! BUT SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING!” Sure. Agreed. But what? Even Obama has had to say in his latest speech how routine it’s become.
If you can’t tell by this point in the list, there is NOTHING the government or any other organization can do to prevent these events.
You can’t effectively keep drugs out of the hands of those intent on doing drugs. You can’t keep beer out of the hands of high schoolers intent on getting beer. You have a HUGE supply of weapons everywhere and concrete federal law protecting those weapons. You’d have as much luck passing regulation against tornadoes. It would be equally as effective.
So there it is. The god’s honest truth. No entity can do anything meaningful (more than is presently being done) to thwart a disaffected person hell-bent on committing such an act.
But you can.
You can talk to your co-worker for a few minutes. You can talk to the kid in your Physics class that appears to be all alone. You can teach your children to do the same, to make sure no one is left to feel totally isolated. Because that’s the breeding ground. That’s where the seeds are planted.
Community is easy to take for granted. Most of us have strong family connections and healthy friendships. Most feel as though they’re part of a group, be it community, religious, or work related. But it’s increasingly easy for people on the edges to withdraw and it’s easy for us to forget them.
No, it’s comfortable to forget them. It’s preferred to forget them. It’s highly desired to forget them. And we have to change that.
Holding a sign isn’t going to do anything. And writing your congressman will do even less. But you can do something today, this week, this month. The people you engage may not become life-long friends, and they don’t need to be, but it could be enough to keep someone away from the darkness and isolation needed to eventually think lashing out is an effective strategy for dealing with their pain.
If you’re conflicted at all about the subject, I can’t encourage you enough to read this post by Sam Harris on the subject immediately following Newtown, CT, that I’ve written about before.
* Edit: Fully auto weapons are legal, but only under the strictest of conditions and at a price that makes them nigh affordable for the vast majority. For all intents and purposes, let’s just call them banned. The AR-15 is not a fully auto weapon, but is confused for one based on appearance.

Carson hints same-sex marriage leads to polygamy!

Spectrum ^ | October 13, 2015 | Kerry Cardoza

Republican presidential hopeful Ben Carson said in a radio interview Friday that same-sex marriage will lead to polygamy.

The retired neurosurgeon was on air talking to conservative radio host Eric Metaxas. The conversation took an interesting turn when Carson said he had “nothing against gay people whatsoever” but wanted to know what he could do to make it up to the LGBT community if he continues to oppose same-sex marriage.
“The other thing you have to recognize and this is a very important issue,” Carson said. “If you change the definition of marriage for one group what defense do you have for the next group that comes along and wants it changed. Can you say, ‘no we’re just changing it this one time and it will be this way for forever.’ Well, how is that fair? I mean, it doesn’t make any sense.”
The Advocate reported on Carson’s interview:
Carson followed that up with the old trope that marriage equality will lead to newer definitions of marriage. “The natural next question” is opening up marriage to more than two partners, he said.
“Effectively what it does is it takes away from the tradition of family we’ve known for thousands of years, but also it negates an important part of the word of God,” he said. “And if you can do that with one part of the word of God, you can do it with the rest of it too. Toss the whole thing in the garbage.”
“Obviously, many people don’t care about the word of God,” Metaxas said in return.

FBI confiscates 4 State Dept. servers and others!

World Tribune Life ^ | October 13, 2015 | Bill Gertz

The FBI has seized nine White House computer servers as part of its probe into how classified information was compromised on State Department email system, according to people familiar with the investigation. Additionally six servers, which were located at the NSA Fort Mead headquarters building, were seized.

They are being checked by technical analysts charged with determining how all communications to and from the state department were being routed via homeline parallel Soviet, and Clinton Foundation pathways as standard procedure, even prior to 2009 to 2013, said two people familiar with the probe. The people spoke on condition of anonymity.
State Department spokesman referred questions about servers to the White House, FBI, Clinton Campaign, Clinton Foundation, FBI, CIA, NSA, DIRNSA, and Ispawn. the White House, FBI, Clinton Campaign, Clinton Foundation, FBI, CIA, NSA, DIRNSA, etal declined to comment.

White House walks back "60 Minutes" comments on Hillary's emails! ^ | 10/13/15 | LAURA KORAN

White House spox Josh Earnest backtracked Obama's blanket assertions WRT Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server. Asked outright by Steve Kroft on CBS' "60 Minutes," Obama said flatly, "I don't think it posed a national security problem."
Asked how the President was able to make such a definitive statement even as the FBI investigates the server's security, Earnest clarified that "The President was making an observation about what we know so far, that Secy Clinton herself turned over a bunch of email to the State Dept with differing assessments about what's included in there," Earnest said.
The President's comment "certainly was not an attempt, in any way, to undermine the importance or independence of the ongoing FBI investigation," Earnest said, stressing that Obama "has a healthy respect for the kinds of independent investigations now being conducted."
Obama also rejected the notion that Clinton's email practices compared to cases of individuals prosecuted over misuse of classified information. "We don't get an impression that there was purposely efforts ... to hide something or to squirrel away information," he said.
