Obama Administration Teams Up With Controversial Progressive Group To Form New Americorps Division

Resilience. That word is defined as being able to recover quickly from difficulties. But if the Obama administration and a controversial Progressive group get their way, it will mean Progressively so much more.
The Rockefeller Foundation has a long history of pushing controversial Progressive ideas. From Population Control through family planning and Eugenics, to funding the Marxist affiliated Tides Foundation, to openly awarding Obama’s Communist Green Jobs Czar, Van Jones, an award, the Rockefeller Foundation has done everything but hide their true Progressive motivations from those who care to notice. But now the Rockefeller Foundation wants to dabble in one other area in order to advance their agenda; Americorps.
On July 9th Americorps announced that it was teaming up with several Federal Government agencies, and the Rockefeller Foundation, in order to launch the Americorps Resilience division in an effort to fight Climate Change:
“ <“WASHINGTON, D.C. – Building on the President’s Climate Action Plan, today the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), the Department of Energy (DOE), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), The Rockefeller Foundation, and Cities of Service, announced a new commitment to launch a Resilience AmeriCorps pilot program.
Resilience AmeriCorps will help communities plan and implement efforts necessary to become more resilient to shocks and stresses, including extreme weather and other impacts of climate change. Through the pilot program, AmeriCorps VISTA members will serve in up to 12 communities in 2015-2016 to support the development of resilience strategies that will both help communities better manage the unavoidable and avoid the unmanageable. AmeriCorps VISTA members will build volunteer networks to carry out program initiatives, and create education and outreach materials to strengthen awareness and citizen engagement in low-income communities.”
How could helping cities become more resilient to shocks and stresses possibly be bad you ask?
Well according to the Rockefeller Foundation, in order to make a Resilient City it must have Universal Healthcare, Sustainable Development, and even take care of what the Rockefeller Foundation’s City Resilience Framework report refers to as Minimal Human Vulnerability. Or what those of us who recognize Marxism when we see it would call: wealth redistribution:
“ 1. Minimal human vulnerability
This relates to the extent to which everyone’s basic needs are met. Minimising underlying human vulnerabilities enables individuals and households to achieve a standard of living which goes beyond mere survival. A basic level of wellbeing also allows people to deal with unforeseen circumstances. This is only possible once their physiological needs are met through a basic level of provision of food, water and sanitation, energy and shelter.
To add to the Marxist train of thought the report goes on to state that in order for a city to be Resilient everyone must have a living wage and have “unrestricted access to legitimate occupations”.
It would seem that a Resilient City must provide food, shelter, energy, and unrestricted access to a job for its inhabitants.
Gee, where have I heard that before? Oh that’s right.. can you say Communism??
Now where is the Rockefeller Foundation coming up with all of these wonderful Progressive ideas on building a Resilient City (I know you’re asking yourself)?
According to the Forward of the City Resilience Framework report, they credit a known Progressive named Jane Jacobs who wrote a book for the Rockefeller Foundation in the 60’s titled-The Death and the Life of Great American Cities-. As a matter of fact, Jane Jacobs was so Progressive that she even thanked Saul Alinsky, the author of Rules for Radicals, for helping her in writing the book.
So far, the Rockefeller Foundation has chosen 100 cities from around the world to become more Resilient. Among them are:
Sydney, Australia Rome, Italy St. Louis, Missouri
So as you notice the Obama Administration’s latest volunteer Stormtroopers..err.. I mean Americorps members roaming about your town trying to make it more Resilient, just smile and remember. They were sent by the Obama administration and the Rockefeller Foundation and they’re here to help…in their own Progressively… Marxist way.
