Samuel Wurzelbacher, better known as "Joe the Plumber," took to Facebook on Wednesday to post his thoughts about the ongoing conflict in Ferguson, Mo. and compared the protestors to "cockroaches."
In two separate Facebook posts, Wurzelbacher speculated about the clashes and looting that have broken out in Ferguson in the wake of the killing of a black unarmed teen by a white police officer:Since gaining fame during Sen. John McCain's (R-AZ) 2008 presidential campaign, Wurzelbacher has used his notoriety as a platform to weigh in on an array of national issues.Earlier this year, following a shooting at the University of California Santa Barbara, Wurzelbacher said the killings should not lead to gun control measures. "Your dead kids don’t trump my Constitutional rights," he wrote.
