Is Obama Mentally Fit To Serve As President?

Last Resistance ^ | Saturday, February 9, 2013 | John DeMayo

... it appears that there are an abnormal number of eccentricities residing in President Obama and I genuinely wonder if he is mentally fit to run our Republic.
In layman’s terms: Obama is egocentric, always late to work, never gets his work done one [sic] time, takes a lot of time off to recreate and party, loves to be the center of attention, hates to be questioned, holds a grudge, associates with reckless ideologues, deludes himself into believing his own lies, avoids responsibility, never admits he made a mistake, thinks stealing is perfectly reasonable, has empathy issues, spends recklessly, has a messiah complex, takes credit for things he never did, can’t argue honestly, is thin skinned, can’t be trusted to keep his word, is uncomfortable in public (unless at a distance), exhibits signs of paranoia and doesn’t have a problem with risky sexual behavior. Just to name a few of the things causing me to wonder about his mental fitness...
Setting our Constitution aside, do we really want to risk having a commander in chief who thinks drone strikes and special operations command are his personal version of “Call of Duty?” Or worse thinks the U.S. economy is just an elaborate Monopoly game with an unlimited number of get of jail free cards, because in reality, that is exactly who we may have in the White House at the present time...
Each and every day that goes by it becomes more difficult to understand our government’s public policy decisions. The lines have been made very blurry. Why is it that we are so quick to assume that it is always purposeful and ingenious? Perhaps the cause for all the confusion and chaos is one man; a man that doesn’t possess the understanding and mental ability to know the difference between right or wrong and truth or lie...

The president is lying about Benghazi!

American Thinker ^ | February 9, 2013 | Robin Osborne

We all remember when Bill Clinton argued that it all depends on what the meaning of 'is' is. We were all disgusted that the office of the President had become so low that we were deciphering legalistic terms and arguing about sex acts. Oh for the good ole days.

President Obama's disregard for the truth has made Bill Clinton seem like a novice. His statements are always riddled with inconsistency. Many could easily have been dissected with a curious media, but that hasn't happen. Very few people can lie as well.

Leon Panetta testified yesterday before congress that the President was only briefed once at a previously scheduled meeting around 5:00 pm on the day of the Benghazi attack. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and his staff were already under attack at that time. Were they in danger, and who defines danger?

Did the President not care about their safety specifically or did he not expect things to escalate further.

No one knows.

Obama Approves Direct Funding For Hamas

Political Realities ^ | 02/10/13 | LD Jackson

Hat tip has to go to Spellchek for this little tidbit of information. In all of his infinite wisdom and glory, President Barack Obama has waived restrictions placed on the direct funding of the Palestinian Authority. If you remember, this is the group that is run by Hamas. Going further back in your memory, you will recall Hamas is the terrorist organization that has refused to acknowledge Israel's right to exist. In fact, their charter calls for the destruction of Israel.
(White House) MEMORANDUM FOR THE SECRETARY OF STATE SUBJECT: Waiver of Restriction on Providing Funds to the Palestinian Authority
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 7040(b) of the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2012 (Division I, Public Law 112-74) (the "Act") as carried forward by the Continuing Appropriations Act, 2013 (Public Law 112-175) (the "CR"), I hereby certify that it is important to the national security interests of the United States to waive the provisions of section 7040(a) of the Act as carried forward by the CR, in order to provide funds appropriated to carry out chapter 4 of part II of the Foreign Assistance Act, as amended, to the Palestinian Authority.
You are directed to transmit this determination to the Congress, with a report pursuant to section 7040(d) of the Act as carried forward by the CR, and to publish this determination in the Federal Register.
If you will look at the date of the press release on the White House website, you will find it was Friday. The Obama administration is so open and transparent that they make sure these things are released at the end of the week and the news cycle. The previous occupant of the White House didn't like the idea of funding Hamas. So much so that he declared it would not happen until Hamas met certain requirements. Here is what President George W. Bush had to say about it in 2006.
United States said it would not provide aid to an authority governed by Hamas until the group renounces violence, recognizes Israel and agrees to abide by existing agreements between Israel and the Palestinians.
President Obama evidently does not hold the same fears about what our money will be used for, after it is funneled to the terrorists as foreign aid. I can not help but ask for a clarification of what he means when he says "it is important to the national security interests of the United States" to waive the restrictions. Exactly whose national interests is he trying to protect? Since it can't be ours and it's no secret he is no big fan of Israel, it must be Hamas he is trying to help. If you had doubts where Obama places his priorities, this should put them to rest. I'm sure Hamas will welcome these funds with great joy and gratitude and put them to good use. Rockets are expensive.
