Jay Carney: We’re not living up to our transparency promises? It’s the Internet’s fault !

According to Jay Carney at yesterday’s press conference, part of the lack of transparency in the Obama administration that the press corps is complaining about has been caused by the Internet. Thanks a lot, Al Gore!
Video via Katie Pavlich at Townhall, who notes the best line from a reporter: “Anyone here can tell you there’s less access here than under the Bush administration.” Ouch!

Nice try, Jay, but after watching the rollout of HealthCare.gov it’s clear that nobody in the administration knows anything about how the Internet works.
As for the WH press corps, some of them are still nursing herniated discs from all the time they spent carrying Barack Obama into office. The fact that they’re now revolting over being locked out of the party they ushered him to is somewhat amusing.
