The Dangerous Road We Must Take

This week America saw the true colors of the Arab spring. Rioters all over the Middle East attacked and raised Islamic Radical Flags over Sovereign American Soil. These attacks have raised a number of questions in American's Hearts (like where in the world were the Embassy Guards?) but while many American's grieve and pray for the lost souls of these awful events, others are scheming on how to push their Agenda to pacify America. Many leftists will see these Embassy attacks as the rallying point they needed to turn America Against the War on Terror. However, like a bully on the play ground, backing away from this fight now will only cause more damage to us in the future.

The Arab Spring has given many nations in the Middle East a Revolutionary mindset. When they see something the do not appreciate they will strike with violence because they were successful with violence before. What this means for America is that there are now many weakened nations looking for a fight and are willing to fight with anyone to achieve their goals. Countries like Libya and Egypt will openly support Anti- Western Terrorism and if America shows weakness they will hit again, and harder. Radical Islamism smells blood in the water and if we do not hit them hard enough, they will keep attacking until we lose all strength in our foreign Policy. If we leave now not only will the terrorists think we are weak but they will also think that if you can hit us hard enough we will scurry away with our tail between our legs. This will lead to them hitting America anyway they can (and everywhere they can). The Eastern World sees America as the head of the snake and they know that if America falls, liberty will fall with soon after.

Americans need to take a good look at the situation. Are we willing to let our foreign Representatives die just because some Americans were practicing their freedom of speech (That is if we really believe they were motivated by some video)? As Patton once said “All real Americans love the sting of battle.” The road we must travel will not be an easy one but if we truly believe that all people deserve to be free then we will fight back and we will not give up. When Americans see radicals killing Americans because individuals was expressing their freedom of speech then we must remember one of the many inspiring words from our Founding Fathers; “Live Free or Die.”
