Rasmussen: 61% Still Hold Favorable View of Chick-fil-A

Ever since the president of Chick-fil-A volunteered his definition of marriage, the fast food chain has been the center of attention for friends and foes. Despite the controversy, the majority of voters still view Chick-fil-A favorably, according to a Rasmussen reports survey.
Sixty-one percent of voters hold a favorable opinion of Chick-fil-A, including 40 percent who view the chain Very Favorably. Only 31 percent have an unfavorable view of the restaurant, with 14 percent who regard it Very Unfavorably.
Just 13 percent of Likely U.S. Voters are likely to participate in a boycott of Chick-fil-A restaurants.
By way of comparison, 17 percent favored a boycott of General Motors following the government bailout and 18 percent favored a boycott of all bailed out firms. Within months of the bailout, 27 percent said they or someone they knew had already avoided buying a GM car because of the bailout and government’s takeover of the company. …
