After the massacre in Tucson that saw six murdered and U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., and 12 others wounded, President Obama gave a speech at the memorial where he called for raising the tone in politics. To honor the memory of those killed and wounded the president said:
The loss of these wonderful people should make every one of us strive to be better in our private lives -- to be better friends and neighbors, co-workers and parents. And if, as has been discussed in recent days, their deaths help usher in more civility in our public discourse, let's remember that it is not because a simple lack of civility caused this tragedy, but rather because only a more civil and honest public discourse can help us face up to our challenges as a nation in a way that would make them proud.
Moving words. Also a lie.
President Obama had no interest in having “more civility in our public discourse,” no concern for those grieving families. He said what was expected of him as president – touching, well-delivered words we now know had as much meaning to him as his promise to cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term.

This article is a great study on two telling themes of Barak Hussien Obama's original intents from the time he was selected to run for President as a nominee of the Democratic Party. First, it has been my contention that Obama has never been anything but a Muslim. His claim of changing to Christianity was necessary in order for him to be considered in politics in general, never mind the Presidency. As evidence of this contention I present this and other situation that we find this administration constantly exercising. The Quaran has a word at 5:32 called Teqiyya. In essence it explains that every Muslim should tell their enemies whatever will win them to their side, and when you have accomplished that, do whatever it takes to convert or destroy them. These lies and many others continue to emenate from this administration at such a rapid pace it is difficult to keep up with. Second, he has surrounded himself with a group of administration members that under the leadership of David Axelrod have lied so continuously that some in the legitimate press think it's truth. Hitler had such a person in Goebles. That was his claim to fame. Tell a lie often enough and loudly and sooner or later the public will believe it. These traits in this President and his administration stand out so succinctly that I find it hard to believe that the major media souces ignore them. The NY Times, Wash Post, LA Times, CNN, MSNBC, and the Democrat Talking heads all go along with blantant lies. I only know that we can not tollerate this type of leadership and if we do, this country will never be worthy of what made it great and will slide into the sewer of deciet. I can't imagine the Supreme Court with the occupants that Obama will nominate. Research Germany in the late 30's and you will have your answer.
