Obama's Campaign Strategy: More Vague Cliches

FR ^ | Wednesday, May 16, 2012 | cc

Hey, it worked the last time, why not try it again?

Aided by an uncurious Big Media, Team Obama is all set to roll out the same vague rhetoric that worked so well in 2008. You know, the "America faces huge challenges", "we must all pull together", "now is the time to put aside our differences", type of blather, bland cliches that never move beyond the level of a high-school essay?

Why do they do this? Well, they're dumb. They don't really have an ideas of substance, so there's nothing else to talk about. And sadly, it works - some people get sucked in by this verbal sleight-of-hand, and miss the real questions in the background. WHY is the economy a challenge; YOU'RE in charge, sir?

WHY is the unemployment rate the same as when you took office (and twice Bush's average), despite your blowing 3X as much money as Bush spent in all 8 years?? Time for accountability, Obama!
They'll do this for the next 6 months if you do nothing. Don't put up with another campaign of touchy-feely vague rhetoric that lets this dope evade his sorry record - nail him on the specifics at every chance!
